I totally pwn the final castle. That was way to easy, I finished with a castle at 104 and wall at 68. I won by making my castle so big lol. he was 6 away from death. reaalllyy easy.
Onto hard mode. I like this game.

I tried earlier and couldnt work the info/discard/use buttons or the buttons on the top right of the screen, apart from that it worked fine!

Sorry, not seeing the need to make the original more complex. Probably because I liked to play the original as a quick relaxing diversion (which, I admit, may not be what others liked), I find this version has just added a bunch of attention-diverting extras but nothing really new. Also, the interface of the original was intuitively plain and readily understandable and facilitated quick play. This version forces me to study everything to find what I want to know: ugh. Perhaps it would be worth it to play this enough for the interface to become second nature, but why, when the original is available. I appreciate the attempt to add more, but for me, the original is better.

I liked this game but it seems to have too many flaws to be better than a 2/5 in my opinion. It looks nice, the cards are fun, and being able to build your own deck gives it the ability to devise your own "strategies". Multiplayer seems bugged in that you could essentially never get the medium badge if people were so inclined regardless of how good you are. Hard mode is dumb with the AI just incessantly taking away your resources and then suddenly slipping in a trojan horse. The game also just freezes as others have stated. Arrow bobs up and down, clouds roll by, AI just doesn't play a card. So 2/5 I would rate it higher if it ever got updated because I do like the game it's just annoyingly flawed. It's also been more than 2 months since the game was uploaded to it getting badges so I feel it unlikely that it'll be updated for these issues to be fixed reinforcing the notion of me giving it a 2/5

the game is unfair on hard mode. This Necronomicon game is much fairer in a lot of respect: all have the same cards. I have no problems with have to face a stronger enemy, but at least I should have the means to kill his people as well ...

Easy win on every hard level. Hand must have +8 weapons, Trojan Horse, Magic weapon, +8 Crystals. Just restart if you don't have that in your hand. If you have most of them try playing it out. All you play is those 3 cards and they deal 60 damage to opponents castle. Some of them you only need +8 weapons and a trojan horse to beat castles with 30 starting hp.

My way for last territories in hard mode: Max cards in: trojan horse, magic weapons (for double dmg), ADD bricks/crystals/weapons rest is not relevant. It is possible to gather enough resources for double dmg + trojan for 60dmg befor pc get castel above 60. If you were lucky just few rounds. First we get double dmg and then put all crystals in +bricks/weapons cards.

I already did most of the achievements before they came out. Now I am unable to achieve them and I am not in the mood for a re-play. Hard makes me wanna cry if I need to do it over again. Please tell me how.

the sacrifice cards are obnoxious at best...I still want to see my castle grow to a mile high

Lol i find it funny whenever my enemy is on the verge of death that i get stacked up on castle building materials, even after discarding my whole hand twice, it was too late and my enemy rebuilt his castle :/

Pure luckbased and absent AI - the computer sacrifies a Builder and i have only one.. dumb. Will not go for the last two badges; can spend/ waste time better in other games... 2/5

in hard mode the computer is too damn rich in attacks , i used spy to see his cards and he was having dragons and huge power-ups

Rounds take forever and you usually end up losing after half an hour. Along with the difficult interface, this game gives me a headache.

I won the hard campaign fairly easy using the following deck: 5 each of: archer (to negate magic shields), ambush, recruit, all weapons, mage, magic wall, magic weapons, add weapons, add crystals, add bricks, builder, tower, all bricks, large wall, trojan horse.
Concentrate on defending (by building walls and castle if needed) and ressource building untill you're ready to hit with a magic weapon+trojan´horse. 60 damage directly to enemy castle takes out most opponents. When you've got nothing usefull to do, discard 3 cards in to get nearer that combo!

for the people saying that forfeits should count i think the reason they don't is because people would just join and game with their friend and then they would just forfeit in till they get the badge.... but they still could give each other wins so idk

A little advice: If u go for the hard badge, make sure u try to reach 100 hp, not beat ure nme's castle into the ground, it's way faster :)

Multiplayer Badge awarded to me for 4 wins, not 5 - although one opponent did forfeit. Does this count as a win for the badge?

*sigh* most of this game is luck, getting the cards you want at the right time.... there is some amount of skill required, but it is all required to have a lot of luck, which is why i usually dont play these games. 3/5 because it is fun when you do get lucky, but then again you can get screwed over so many different ways

The easiest way to get the hard badge is to setup a 75 card deck aimed strictly at building. I beat the last three levels on the first try with this one:
Add 5 of each of these in your deck:
Row 1: nothing
Row 2: Guards
Row 3: Mages, Pixies
Row 4: Add Crystals, Add Bricks
Row 5: Everything besides School
Row 6: Fence, Wain, All Bricks
Row 7: None
Fill out the remaining slots with your favorite cards until you hit 75. (I'd recommend Reverse and Magic Defense.)
Just generally ignore what the computer is doing. Play a Fence early if you have it. Once you get your wall to 20 or so, ignore it. Prioritize adding more builders and mages unless you are less than 8 turns from winning.

Now I have to go back and give the first one an extra star, since it isn't fair to rate them both one star when the original is obviously better.
Same broken multiplayer challenge, same bad gameplay, and now without clear card descriptions and with a much less intuitive interface.
