Description
The volcano is erupting!! Quick!! Build trenches to direct the lava away from the cities!!
How to Play
Move around with arrows (or AWSD).
In Speed mode simply choose the direction of trench you want to use and click on the position you want to place it.
In Strategy mode you only have 5 building teams, so you need to choose where and when to build more carefully. The color of the ground shows how hard it is and how long it will take to build there.
Trenches can be chosen by clicking on the icon or by pressing:-
z - left trench
c - right trench
x - split trench (slows lava down)
In strategy mode you can press "space" to build a trench on the selected tile.
Watch out for the different events in Strategy mode!
Water can slow the lava down.
If a city is destroyed the game is over!

Wow! This game is so much fun! This is a great original idea, I've never seen a game like this before. I love the use of the hexagons to build trenches. The music and sound effects also add good suspense to the mix. The only thing it needs is a high scores chart on this page. Good work!

I like the concept but it is very dry. There is no way to manage where you are at. Most of the field is obscured around the other side of the volcano. There needs to be keyboard shortcuts for the various tunnel types. All you need is a down-left and a down-right 'y' to make a V shape over each city to protect it so there is no real strategy to building more complex tunnels. Game pace should be slower at the start and pick up. .
Thanks for the feedback, you are right about the speed, it does speed up a little as the game goes on but it is not very noticeable, and I am adding some keyboard shortcuts for the tunnels. I will consider how to make more tunnel choices in different places more meaningful.
