Currently - yes. The towers will stay and fields gone. Towers can be still upgraded.
I plan to change this in close future - players will be able to sell only the empty fields.

How to build easy advanced movement: When prayer presses shift + sends the soldier to a tile, save that information in an array as movement[x1,y1], then the player clicks on another tile and IF that tile is near the [x1, y1] and IS FREE, then add it to the array as movement[x2,y2]. So on. Then check before auto-moving the unit, if the tile is still free. If it is not, then CANCEL MOVEMENT TO NEXT TILE. Easy.
Yes, there are many solutions. But magine, if player auto-moves 30 pawns at once to far away direction. Then at the same second the player has many movements. And I have protection in server, that it is not allowed to do 2 actions in 100milliseconds - then getting error. Because then data in database can be not fully fetched. Needs synchronity - every moevment does a lot of calculations in database and checking.

cool mmo rts but the actions mechanic is pretty restrictive, i understand that the dev(s) must earn something, tho it's a bit annoying
The game has no monetization at all. And these EU, US servers will never have any monetization. So, it's not because of earning something. I have explained (2 comments below) why I've implemented energy system and without it - is much worse.
action points grows in real time, 7/hour (so, every few minutes). This amount can be increased with researches and totems. Also, you can get Gems from quests and convert into action points. So, it's like you choose - spend gems for actions or collect.

Why the action limit? I mean, you make a game, you want people to play it. I really don't understand the reason behind these "energy bar" games! You don't even ask money for it (which I wouldn't pay, but usually that's the reason for energy bars), so Iìm quite confused... Please explain what you were thinking about when you made that "action points" into the game.

You are right. It's true - the army is Purple colored, not Red as it says. My initial mind was to make it red, but seen it looks more clear as purple. Gonna fix that description later.
its not a castle MMO. You can't enter castle. its a map MMO. No game has this experience you can find here. There are no similar games at all currently, in 2019 april.
Sorry for that. I am still looking where the problem is and didn't find yet. I see all players have more gold from fields than all fields should generate. and didn't find yet how.

Firefox fix! Goto about:config and change the value of dom.ipc.plugins.sandbox-level.flash from 3 to 2. Restart the browser. Rate + if this helps.
Sometimes Kongregates advertisement (the 30s before game) doesn't show up. and you cant click anything in these 30 seconds. But after 30 seconds it is possible to click. Or after a refresh.

I reset my game to start over, and now my missions are stuck on #20. It says to upgrade a tower, and I have done it several times. But it is not recognizing the upgrade.

yeah my fields don't produce anything anymore my gold just dropped from almost 8k to 1.5, and its not registering my fields
Thank you for reporting that. Fixed now the fields amount. Still cant find how did it happend. Will send you refund because of this problem with amount of 200 gems.
Sorry, this feature is difficult to do and not planned for this year. And not sure or it would be good and balanced for gameplay, how should work in all circumstances.

x:138, y:248, Totem of Ressource seems bugged. My hourly gold tooltips not increase at all when stepping on it. Hourly gold totem works as a charm though :)
Thank you for report! As I found out - it works. Probably you have already owning 1. The next increase will be once you collect 5. If you click on the totem and select "info", you can read more about how it works.
Soon I gonna create a page to see Totem additions and how many you need for the next addition.
What is slow? Movements take 5 seconds. You can have unlimited amount of pawns and move them all one by one as fast as you can. Just researches are slow. But main action is using pawns - spread the territory.
Game full screen + mobile is available when you collect 500 gems (i want to say in addition - here is no monetization at all, so gems you have to collect by doing quests).
Fastest PvP is by doing Arena PvP (5 times a day). Or you could already in the first day burn down the walls and attack neighbours.

...noticed a thing that is possibly a bug..wanted to buy a knight, but was a little bit short on money...was around 4k gold...it took my money but gave me no unit...

Finally!!! A game that uses the scroll wheel and has a developer that wasn't stupid, and actually made it so you can use the scroll wheel without the entire page scrolling down. Thank you, for not doing that like a lot of other games have.

Little problem with the incoming patch. In order to capture a castle, you need the fields around it but, if you have harvested your 500 fields (like i did) and built towers around the place, you have many towers above "unfield" squares. With the patch, the only way to capture the place is to burn all my towers, build the field and eventually rebuild the tower on it. The solution may be to consider a tower build square as "fielded" in order to capture the castle. I hope you do that or I will to have to burn a LOT of tower (and all the action points that go with it).
If you have a Tower, it means under the tower must be a Field. Unless you have resetted your fields.
I hope this is just a temporary problem, later it will be just clear that needs to conquer castle as soon as possible, before resetting the fields.
If i see more players are stuck with this problem, I will take your suggestion :)
Strange. Never had that problem. Could you please explain more- what did you do, which info you looked at? As far as i know info button was quite stable for a long time.
:D Thats funny. And its true. Players can have unlimited (thousands) of chess pieces, towers, fields and walls in the map and there is no mini map yet. I plan to do some navigation one-to-another pawns, castles, friend castles etc.. but that won't happen soon, because its quite difficult to do. The game has more priorities than that currently, sorry.

Every time i zoom out, i almost lose my base. can you add a "center to base" button that moves your camera to your base?

Thank you for this report. You did a rare case scenario - did not finish the 17th tutorial and can't see how many actions you have left. I did not expect that, sorry :) Today evening (in ~10 hours form now) I will make a update to fix this.
To answer why you have this error - you did daily limit of 500 actions. Actions grow in time, every few minutes. I want to say in addition, that this game has NO MONETIZATION AT ALL. So, there is not possible to buy action points for real money. Just wait until it grows up. And try to complete the 17th mission (the left side).

I keep giving you my observations. Few improvements possible and bugs:
1) Keeping the multiplicator mode (easy, medium, hard, epic) after reload. 2) when clicking a bit too fast for moving after an action with a unit, I receive the message that the unit has already moved (and it hasnt moved yet).

1) The multiplication I have added because new players mostly increase it and later dont know why the enemies are too strong. Maybe helps if the player has mission level 50+, then it will not decrease on login?
2) That can happens either if you have two windows with the same account, or due to connection errors. Usually you can see the real view if you zoom-in-out. If you played form mobile, maybe it is still running in background? Or from PC other tabs.

How do you get more research points? I only have 1 Easy point left, and many researches require those. I switched to Normal difficulty. Should I switch back?

3) Easy/medium points and research. So far I cant use my medium points. I guess they would be useful at higher reseach level. The prob is that i will be missing easy points quite soon (and I am at around 800 steps already). If we have to go back in easy mode for thousands of steps, it will be quite unfun and uneasy as the units are starting to get really strong in there.
4) Capturing the castle (and the ability to deploy units there) would solve my points 1) and 2). A conversion between steps points (easy for medium and vice versa, at rates you would need to define) might solve my point 3).
Yes, i've seen the problem with easy reserach points when they are most needed. Actually not sure of it is a huge problem, because if you choose a path for reseraches, you go up and no more needs easy research points. It was made with intention, that you reserach not all equally , but to choose few and go up - so players then are more different. Easy resarch points no need so many(thousands), except of action points reserach, what is the most challenging research. But another strategy - if you unlocked new figure and cant change to higher difficulty for a better figure, you can make difficulty as easy until you level-up the required level. That balances out the need for weaker reserach points.
Capturing the castle was a question for my self - how balance it out. One idea was to let player capture the castle by attacking it once the area is fully occupied. It would be good in this way?

Few more questions/observations tho:
1) Is it possible to destroy walls with another units than pawn? I tried with knights and bishops and I think we cant not.
2) If the answer is no. This is a massive prob. If I have to deploy a pawn everytime I need to open an area, it would cost me TONS of action points (and quite some time). You told me that I could use an ally but it is not a viable option atm.

Short answer why only pawns can destroy - Balancing.
Before a year any figure was able to destroy. And no matter how OP enemy was against a weak player, if weak player has a bishop, he can easily demolish the enemy in few hours. Because of very big armies, fast moves. And seems if only pawns can destroy, it is quite good. Tested my self by playing few months - and it is possible to destroy even a strong player, but needs more strategy then. Yes, needs more action points for that. But after a longer gameplay, you have more action points (if not more - then higher gold income, and gold you can exchange for gems, gems for action points). And there are many strategies how to find weak points of enemy base and how to build your pawn armies.

But if you join alliance, you can deploy pieces from any allied castle (if ally leader gives permission).
You mean - you want to move trough your towers?
If you block your way out with towers, you should destroy some (pawns can Burn them).
But you can also move your Knights trough any towers and walls. Like in Chess.
Did you try refreshing the page or ctrl+F5? I can't reproduce this on any browser. But I will keep it in mind and look for answers why some players can't load the game successfully.
Sorry for that. My fault. I am still looking for ways to make the very beginning more clear. I did not make longer tutorial, but instead added missions, which you can follow if you want. The missions are at the left side - bright blue button "Start the mission". These will teach you everything little by little.

Really needs a way to zoom out so you can see more of the area. Any large scale planning is difficult to say the least.
Yep - during tutorial everything is very zoomed. But after the tutorial (which takes 1 minute) you can zoom out with the mouse.
Btw, after a week of gameplay you can create email and password to play with this account on mobile and PC from the official website - full screen.
