Pro tip: clicking on the eye on the left side severely reduces the time it takes to progress. It's a cool little fight scene, but not really necessary. Especially since there are so many enemies to defeat. It's better to just see the super short sword fighting animation than the long battle screen.

Wilds description "You should be surprised if you encounter other players here". First day after unlocking a high level player makes a direct line to me and wipes me out. Not worth trying to get other badges.
Wilds is probably the only a bit more challenging area. And still just occasionally. Everything else is too easy. Play a bit longer, gather another 2000 steps and you can spawn another Wilds on a random location. Then, to get 10.000 Fields is doable within few hours in Wilds area.
Yea.. that was very unexpected. I though the servers are very stable as there was no downtime for months. But apparently there was one silent memory leak and the server became off for 5 hours... Really sorry..

The key to beating the later mazes is to 1. do some cave to boost your stats, and 2. to only fight towers you need to. You can get through just about all of the later mazes by using knights.

Also, if your response contains the word 'Discord', you dont understand game design. Please dont tell me to go to Discord to learn all about this overly complex browser game I'm trying to play casually and for fun.

This game is curled up in a ball crying in the corner for tool tips. I dont understand anything I'm doing, what results from what I'm doing, and why I hit a wall at maze 7/level 38. I simply cannot progress no matter what I do. I employ good tactics, get ahead in fights against the towers, but on the last hit where I should kill it, it kills me instead. I'm effectively blocked from advancing any further. Like someone else said, there is...maybe...a good game here. But so so sooooo many thing have been added to this game without any thought to explaining what they are that it's now a mess that will take a year just to tool tip. You should have build out completely ONE part at a time before adding the next. This is just a mess and I'm frustrated and done.

Actively playing this since the BotD the other day. Having fun with it. Game wiped for raisins. I guess I won't be getting those hard or impossible badges at all.
Server resetted at May 12. Everyone started over. This game is a season-based. Everyone play over again every 9 weeks. There are many cross-server benefits, so its fun to start stronger than before and collect cross-server quest items and hero items.

well, honestly, this IS terrible. not even because of the grind, but simply cause of the shitty interfce - too much crap hidden in tiny tabs, that i would never find without pointers - that's not how it should work to be at least a bit enjoyable. generally, it's unplayable without zoom. maybe i missed some features cause of that, but the game feels really unbalanced. also, moving pieces is a nightmare, with constant ,,can't build if last building not finished" gimmick. i don't get it, why is this crap server-based?
Most of the comments and feedback is positive. Yes, this game is developed by 1 person, it is far from perfect. The grind is another bad side of one developer, not being able to create as much content as a team could - but it is planned to be fixed. Tiny interface is also a UX problem, which is planned to be fixed. So, this game is not final. It is being developed constantly and still much to fix. It is a MMO, all players can fight each other in PVP area. And there are some hard bugs with the tower building, occuring rarely.
Its the design of the game since the beginning. Not all progress is wiped. All credits, cross-server items stay. Everything is wired around the wipe as of the wipe being just a game mode.

The amount of systems and upgrades this game has insane. But more things doesn't mean more fun. I just click on everything.

The medium badge is a lot for BOTD, but now that it is, it might as well be BOTD next time so people who earned it can get 3 times the points each time it's BOTD.

Last time this thing was BotD, I got halfway through to the badge. So I wanted to complete it now... but the game wiped all my progress, forcing me to start from scratch...? No, not doing that!
The game has changed a lot. Its like a totally new game since then. Not all progress is wiped. All credits, cross-server items stay. Everything is wired around the wipe as of the wipe being just a game mode.

While it is a fun game, the Rook badge should never have been badge of the Day. While not hard it took a solid hour and a half of clicking

I think I'm missing a good portion of the game due to graphics (e.g., special abilities/powers), but it's still playable to a degree. We'll see if I grind through for the badge today.

A great concept, although itś tough to figure out in the beginning. But, nonetheless if youŕe actually patient and wait to figure it out, it is actually a very fun game with a developer who has been working for years trying to make this a great game and is pretty much succeeding

It's well worth exploring the buttons on the sidebar to the left of the screen; the 2D/3D switches between the 3D map you start out with and a substantially-easier-on-the-processor 2D one, while the eye toggle turns off fight animations altogether; no speeding up or skipping required!

For the BotD, it is best to focus on doing the 1st level of the maze as quick as possible - the goal is to capture castles, not to clear enemies. Once you hit the final castle, upgrade the maze to level 2 ASAP. Afterwards, each captured castle is 1 campaign level and you can rapidly do the ones you are missing to get campaign 26 (not really campaign level for BotD, but campaign number is needed). Once I realised this (after struggling for a few hours), it took like 20 minutes to complete.
One more helpful tip: if you hit "exit" during the battles, it skips the animation and goes to the results, making things MUCH faster.

I have an easy badge done from 14 months ago, I remember playing this - today's BotD play set me to level 1 again. I don't think '10 minutes for easy badge' is realistic. probably possible, def not for a new player. (Now I have to consider if 'To unlock Rook took 23 minutes' is really 3x more or longer..)
Yes, the game is being resetted every 9 weeks. Its unique. And changed frequently, adding more content. To unlock Rook you might need about 1-2 hours. Fastest possible for experienced player to reach it within 23 minutes.

I love RTS game although I'm not good in them, MMORPG are my favourite, and I'm obsess with chess element games. This however, felt nothing like usual MMO, RTS, RPG, nor chess, more like idle game that required players to do everything manually. Hard to tell about it.
Yes, this is a new idea, total experiment. Its not successful yet, still in development and research. If you would invest more time, you would understand more of the game and eventually it might be really fun. Here is a lot of content, as much as in MMO games. Some people play for 6+ hours daily, for months or even years.

This wasn't horrible, took about 45 minutes to grind out level 26. Pretty boring gameplay though if i'm being honest.

It took me 47 minutes to unlock the Bishop at level 12 (had to open incognito window to find out the level). The Rook gets unlocked at level 26. How long is THAT gonna take me?
Hmm why you needed incognito? I started a new account just to test - I didnt skip any enemy, attacked every. To unlock Bishop took 8 minutes. To unlock Rook took 23 minutes (since the beginning).
Yes, thats the fun! You accumulate progress between server restarts and with every next restart you are a bit stronger and start at the same time as everyone else, can catch up fast and try other skill tree.

I see there was an unexpected domain issue. Might need to wait for a day until its fixed. You can login to the game using this http://13.51.26.82:1337/ if you have setup global account via in-game settings. Or just register a new account there

This is only the start of the day. Every BOTD is usually earned by 10-20k people everyday. If the server can't even handle more than 30 people, I expect the server to crash when it reach the thousands. I am logging off the game to give a chance for others to earn the BOTD.
cave - gives more Coins, which can be used to purchase better gear. Also cave adds the most Quest points, just needs to attack all types of enemies there. and quests give much exp, which give power. Also power increases in all area activities. Exp and gear gives the most power. what i do when i dont have much time - cave. if i get more time - maze, review market to purchase gear and also spend basic tools for quest points.

Dev, if I undestood it correctly, game restart will not reset my progress to impossible badge, but will reset my progress to the hard one. So, how is the power calculated? Towers in my home? Castles through the mazes? Thanks.
Your power can be increased mainly with Items and daily activity. Enough 1~2 hours/day and within a month it should be close to 2M. Also levelups help. Basically to reach 2M power might take maybe a month. And the Season ends at March10, so there is still time.

Dev, I have read that this game restarts after some weeks. When is it going to happen? Will it reduce my badges progress to zero too?
Yes, this game is season-based. It restarts every 9 weeks. Next restart will be on March 10. Badge progress of Fields gained is not resetted - this number accumulates between the servers. But the unlocked Chess, also Power numbers - are resetted every season.

Tip: If you are stuck or have issues use the in game chat instead of Comments here, You can often get answers from other players and possibly the dev. much quicker.
hmm i see many players stuck at campaign 9, because they have wrong towers layout on the base and cannot survive the enemy attack to continue. WIll need to find a solution to this.
