it runs perfectly fine on my crappy laptop, while your first game still lags a bit on loadings. the idea with cards is imo great though their drop randomness pisses me off sometimes(after 5 hours i still have only 1 yellow weapon, hammer). i like the new map overlay, but after repeating each one 10 times just to upgrade weapon this 1 lvl, the game becomes boring. collecting quest items to open new paths on already completed maps helps only a little. i understand, that coding takes time, and you have to pay rent, but 15 bucks for premium content? seriously? last, but not least i really miss few things from first one like the "defend" option, or the ability to choose stats for your heroes when lvl up. first impression 4/5. after few hours of grinding 2/5.

I do hope this one works properly. I loved the first one, but never managed to finish because at some point it would crash an I'd lose what I'd done.

This is a good game and all, but I don't like the chest cracking bits. the chest cracking bits are a part of the game that I can do without.

A few keys to mastering this game: 1 Mana is life. Embrace the mana. Seek only the mana. Seriously. 2 Never use teleports. Those early easy fights are essential to charge your mana. 3 All equipment has two stats. The top number is meaningless. The bottom number shows how much mana you get per tile, in a % modifier to base mana. 4: Best cards: Magic Channel, Second wind, Divine protection, Healing herbs, and Fist of Fury. 5. Don't use bard. Use paladin or Monk on yellow. Wihtout these things, later levels become unbeatable to lack of mana.

That feeling when u spend 8k gold at the smithy and then go to char list to equip the stuff noticing that they arent upgraded... the gold is gone tho >.<
Also the mana cost on those upgraded spells is ridiculous...

I don't understand why my progress is lost when I replay a lower level. How do i become stronger to beat higher levels if replaying levels doesn't help?

One more comment: It's basically useless to bring the Paladin into the tower. The Paladin's heal-after-battle ability doesn't work there. Devs: Was that intentional? If not, please fix. If so, rrgh.

Even with food, the difficulty ramps too fast / the game is very grindy, which is making me lose interest every time I play it again for some minutes.

I saw a mobile game called Dangerous Adventure in the Apple App store. The graphics were similar but different. Is this an older version or a rip off of your game?

Game freezes for me a lot. usually towards the end of a level. Which then means I have to do the entire level over again.

Once items become unupgradable, you shouldn't be able to 'upgrade' them in the shop. Wasted a lot of money trying to upgrade things that couldn't get better anymore.

Just because you guys implemented the meals as a component to be played with the mana system, doesn't mean it works will. And it sure as hell doesn't justify the difficulty scaling, because regardless if I'm dumping money into potions or attempting to make meals, i can still get the the floor swept from under me in a split second.

As a person who typically enjoys idle games, the grind needed to get anywhere in this is insane. At this point, I can't even go back to earlier dungeons to grind more 'cause I can't get mana to cast my "upgraded" spells. Good idea. Bad execution & play testing. 1/5

There is nothing at all wrong with the mana. This just happens to be a game that doesn't hand everything to you. If you think your moves through, take the right skills into battle, and use recipes, you will have no problem at all advancing. If you want a game where everything is just handed to you, go click through something else. This is a game that actually has to be played instead of just clicking and winning.

So, by the third dungeon, more than 10% into the game, per my listing under the intro screen, the kitchen - a mechanic the developers says the game is tuned for, is still unavailable. Do we get any hint as to when it might become available, or do we just hope it might get used at some point to alleviate the crushing grind?

93% One quest item missing.. i don't know where to find the item that should be at the side of black dragon heart, anyone knows? The balance of the game it's ok! All is about skills combos, using Mana chanelling+purifying, reflect+strengthen, fist fury+fury, healing herbs+distraction and second wind+poison, never I used meals, few times potions. Only i was stuck some time on lvl 7 pirates, because their skill to change to first row and double their dmg... Barbarian have the 2 best skills, fist of fury is perfect to collect oll positive tokens , and fury is totally destroyer, sometimes more than 3k dmg XD

There's just a few improvements this game needs:
1) Introduce starting mana. Forcing people to grind gold to buy mana potions is stupid, and almost every game that has mana in it starts with some :)
2) Manual control over meal usage. Again, a fairly standard mechanic in the RPG genre.
3) Some balancing would be nice. About halfway through, it's horribly grindy, and it becomes boringly trivial near the end (hint - magic channel, second wind and fist of fury make a very nice combo, next to impossible to run out of mana)
4) Fix those annoying little bugs (item upgrades sometimes lost, character setup sometimes completely cleaned)

Why is 100% (or more) only considered "good quality" when cooking? I think there should be a "great" quality where food has even more effect. It's always disappointing to cook something just right and have the same effect as if you had 10% less.

think that at this lvl of grinding players will leave the game after some hour. too boring repeating indefinitely same games, i say byebye, sorry because other game mechanics was not so bad

Happened a couple of times now when in battle, after I've played my tiles the gameplay just seems to freeze, the cpu doesn't take its go and all you can do is exit the battle, which is very frustrating when you've used items and meals and virtually defeated a team of tough guys.

Guys, you definitely need to fix memory leaks. Its impossible to play - great game but this kills it. Tried firefox, opera, chrome.

You don't have to find the recipe in the game before you can cook the dish in the game. You just have to know what to cook and be sure to use pan or pot appropriately. I recommend you follow the link in the top comments for recipes, because once you use foods (and understand that you can stack up to five dishes, one for each hero) you can easily fight the first - or the last - fights of each area without having to worry about starting your mana pool.

Just read the developers constant comments about how its our faults for not being good enough with ability uses but then tells us there are secret stats we don't know about because they are too difficult to explain what a load of BS

Building a required use of food and potions into a scaling system that punishes you for grinding but requires grinding to sustain without a very obvious tutorial message warning you about this leaves the later game broken 1/5 tell this is fixed

Tower is a great place for xp and coin. However, once you hit the ceiling for your capabilities and you have to come back to that level you can't survive. Having tower checkpoints is great, but we should be able to choose which checkpoint we start at. Having no mana and walking into the lion's den is ridiculous. Now I will have to be VERY far advanced before I can step foot back into tower. This along with the mana imbalance 2/5. It is a good start, but needs tweaking.

Kystrider: You have to pick the right two ingredients *and* the right cooking implement. If you use the pot when a recipe wants you to use the pan (or vice versa) it will fail.

SO I have been cooking things according to that recipe list the other guy posted and I haven't learned one...damn...recipe. Do you have to cook the crap a certain way or WHAT?
