I honestly would like to like this game, as it has many elements that I usually enjoy, but the repetition and slow pace simply amounts to tedium. It seems like the developer has lost sight of the game experience.

Ive been grinding level 20 for a while now and it doesn't seem like i'm making any progress. the traps get higher damage the higher lvl i get and i defeat the same number of enemies every time.

Either the screen should automatically adjust upwards, or there should be an option to do so when your kittens go offscreen. I can only see the gaps to jump over, not where my kittens are nor where traps are...

It would be nice if i can save some custom sets for later, so i do not search all the time after I changed something for another level.

For all those having trouble with level 20, I did it 100% with the following team:
Monster2 (Raichu) --- Aram/Iron Lady(Samus) --- Maj (Major with Violet hair) --- Twilli.
It is important to maintain that order, and levels were around 35ish.

Anyways, I think this game can still be improved:
1-There's seriously a big amount of costumes and to make our searches easier you added many groups and filters but I think this isn't still enough. While looking for costumes I oftend wished I had a search bar where to write the costume name. I think you should add something like this.
2-While choosing the strongest costume I wished I could order them by stats (power, energy, speed and sum of them all).
For example if I have could filtered costumes by a certain power (e.g. Breaks barrier) and then order them by the sum of their stats I would have instantly known which was the better one with that power.
3-It would also be great if I could see what I would gain/lose by equipping a full costume instead of looking at each piece, sum the gains and losses to see what's better.
It gets even worse when you have 3 pieces equipped and you want to compare them all to a 2 pieces costume

Here's how I calculate time I would need to waste on level 20 to 100% it: ~10% chance to not get a random group with 2 ranged units, which kills the run. ~50% chance to then kill another unit to unlock a piece. Add up 20+ "difficult" unlocks (Should have saved more tickets!). Total attempts: about 400. Average attempt takes 40 seconds, so 4-5 hours of attempts. Raw stats needed to get that 50% chance: about level 50, so about 150k fish per stat per cat (maybe, it's hard to get an accurate value without the actual formula). 1.8 million fish at 540 fish per second = nearly a full hour of just holding down the mouse button. So "Over 6 hours of gameplay" is certainly an understatement.

I can't move past the starting screen where it says "enjoy holiday mode for x more days". Anyone else have this problem, or has anyone solved it?

Talking about glitches, if you happen to be running in the wrong direction (i.e. towards the final boss) on level 20 after picking up the second key, then jump over the final group, turn around, then jump over again you end up in a fight which never ends.

Ok found a glitch, I've reached the final boss after getting through level 20 and of course I lost as I only had 2 cats left. The problem is when I try to replay the boss level all it does is glitch, like really badly. Like only one of my cats comes out doesn't engage the boss and his costume keeps changing. I've lowered my rating to 1 star until this is fixed, because this is almost exactly what happened in the first game where I spent hours getting to the final level only to have it glitch on me.

Kind of strange that it is not particularly hard to win this game while completely ignoring artifacts. Used the ranged / stat-boost build others had recommended already.

What's the point of speed? I have three shooters and one melee. I upgraded speed from 10 to 19, tried the same fights, and actually did WORSE than before I upgraded it.

The training room is kinda pointless the way it is. The lag makes it so you have pretty much no control over it; it should just work as a 'x fish = x upgrade' system.

is anyone else having trouble with crazy bad lag? I love this game but I can't get past certain levels due to lag, even when I turn the quality down

I want a search option in costumes, so I can easily find a certain costume. It is fairly annoying having to search over and over until I learn the rows. Some of us don't have the best short-term memory.
