The majority of the comments in the first instalment were about how laggy it was (despite the reassuring comments by the developer that "it's all been fixed"), yet they included a badge of the day for the game. I thought Kongregate made a rare accidental error doing that. But to have included a second instalment as badge of the day, which lags even more... I think they're just being ignorant. It's lead me to question whether they really even care about community feedback.

little performance improved. Sorry, but the game requires a powerful computer.
what you meant to say was, sorry, but i don't care enough to fix this game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
sorry to say, because I love this game, but on a 2010 Macbook OSX 10.6.8 every time I jump the game freezes for 1 second (even in low quality!) maing this unplyable :(((

After half an hour flash went from consuming ~120MB to 400MB.
If the dev ever reads comments, you may want to check this out and it will probably help you fix your game

fun game concept. But you've gotta address the performance leaks. It doesn't need a great computer to run. It runs great the first couple of runs. But then it gets worse and worse from there. That's a leak issue, not a comp performance issue.

"little performance improved. Sorry, but the game requires a powerful computer."
Funiest thing, i've ever read... Got an i7-4790K, 16gb ram, nvidia geforce gtx-970 and used the flash plugin outside chrome - and got a lag after 5 minutes playing. your code is shit, not our computer... so please dont write something like this...

How can kongregate even badge a game like this....
It is barely playable. Well at least it's not fun to play with all this lag.

Computer that easily runs Far Cry 4 on "NVIDIA"settings (above ultra) is not able to handle this game without lags. I mean idea of this great is cool, but still it's broken.

"Sorry but the game requires a powerful computer" LOL, sorry, the game requires new coders >.< 16 gigs of ram, i7, 8 cores, 64 bit windows, 780 GPU... Literally
top of the line stuff here. My computer blows the devs computers out of the water here. The game just has massive performance leaks.

Though I put together one of these "powerful" computers you where talking about. 2900 dollars later I can run 5 areas before the game comes to a standstill. I guess I should of pumped out the extra 1k to quad crossfire my gfx cards :(

lol, what!?!?! perfect solution of lag problem!!! maybe the game requires a more powerful programmer!?
nice idea, but my rating only 1, until most of the problems (about which players talked in the previous version) are fixed.

"It's time to change your clothes!" No it's not, these are the best for this level. "It's time to train my fighters!" No it's not, I don't have enough fish to even level up 1 stat on any of my cats.

Although several people have already mentioned the same thing, I feel that my upvoting their comments on the matter simply wasn't enough. So to reiterate, how in the hell does this game lag so badly, even on low quality?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I made the mistake of right clicking and selecting play to see if I could skip the intros, but apparently I enabled insane mode. Holy crap.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I got a weird glitch on level one replaying it. It seems that the outfits and chests keep cycling through even through levels I haven't got and it shows that I have an amount of fish close to 10k even though that is not the case. Also man.. so laggy.

Thank you for trying out Strikeforce Kitty 2! To play this amazing flash game, all you need is a badass computer and you can start playing! If you have problems with this website then... you did not use a badass computer enough....(Yeah Martin you should really update the lagginess.)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I want to really enjoy this game, but a game like this shouldn't hog up so much CPU and lag incessantly. I don't think Strikeforce Kitties 2 should warrant a strong computer, but rather be optimized to work best on most computers.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Me with my own laptop Toshiba (4 GB ) I'm doing great.
What you have to do is lower the quality and you will be fine
(If it work in my opinion.)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The longer you play, the worse it becomes. That is text book example of poor optimization. Don't say you need a great computer. This is a simple flash game. I HAVE an awesome computer and still this thing makes my CPU heat up more than a Witcher game.

ok there is a few things that improved from the first one, like not dying because of time and the whole clothing page and the training is interesting. but what is up with not being able to jump down and all this switching directions? and as usual, the massive lag. MY computer is the crappiest oldest piece of junk ever and it runs perfectly fine at first, then after a while for no reason its unplayable.

Just beat the final boss, here are some tips.
Melee characters are highly inefficient there, because they lose time by running, that's why you need a team full of ranged characters. Moreover, they should have effects that boost life and attack power of the party (speed is not nearly as useful in this fight). You shouldn't need any grinding that way, especially if you neglected speed on your characters early on.
Here's the optimal team IMHO : Lawson, Boat, Dracula and Clone. Good luck and don't forget to upvote this comment if it was useful to you!

*at the bar with friends* "Alright, alright. So, I'm playing this flash game, right? And it is completely lag filled; unplayable, if you will. And then the developer, heh. The developer blames the computer! *all laugh*
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Could be so much fun, shame about the lag, and don't give me that "need a powerful computer" rubbish, just poor coding!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@2wizard I just got the same flickering glitch (except it was crowns alternating with 10%). I reported it to the devs. And yes, it probably IS a memory leak because toggling quality has no effect but refreshing the page speeds it all up.
But the real question we should all be asking is WHERE CAN WE GET THESE "POWERFUL COMPUTERS" THE DEVS ARE TALKING ABOUT?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game is what happens when you decide you don't need any formal training and decide to just "learn computers" on your own.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I feel like someone must be in cahoots with someone because they've badged both the Strikeforce Kitty games and they're both extremely laggy for everyone (even those with "powerful computers").
