the game just glitched on me after playing for a little while. every level on the map is flickering between locked and having a crown over it. I'm thinking memory leak.
...does anyone else wonder if these ratings are real? Who actually gave this game 5 stars?

I really hate to break this to you but it does not require "a powerful computer to play", it requires better programming. As you can see from many of the comments, most of us have computers that can run high intensity games such as skyrim, payday, borderlands..... the list goes on. We should be able to play a game like this fine. However, it most basic computers should be able to play flash games fine. You can keep saying that it is our computer's fault, but it's really not, it's something on your end, and you need to own up and fix it, and if you don't know how to fix it in your code, you need to learn how.

The most annoying thing about the lag in my opinion is that the game is so full of lag that even when I press the right jump button I can't jump.

People please stop, this guy deserves some credit. I bet none of you can make a flash game unplayable on a PC that runs Skyrim

Okay, so I managed to get to level 4 with little lag. (I'm using a 2014 iMac.) Then after I lost level 4, it went back to the map screen, right? Well, then it started glitching out and lagging so that it says every level is level 1 and has a crown over it (assuming that means it was completed 100%) But I can't even click anything? Not even the home button?
I know games are supposed to have bugs but this game, even on a powerful, high FPS computer is lagging. And it's a FLASH game. I can play Team Fortress 2 at 60fps at max graphics and get no lag.
Im sad because this game looks really fun.

Well, I'm happy with my 12 gigs of RAM, so the lag isn't a problem for me. As for the game itself, it improved on the original in terms of layout and features, as well as shinier graphics. Costumes are easier to locate, and their benefits can be viewed with just a mouseover. Lots of great cat costumes too. This is basically an overall improvement over the first game, yay. Thank you for all the kitties~

Last time I encountered lag this bad, it was during the flash game "Heir" while playing it on my old laptop. The reason for lag there was the fact that each level was one solid massive map, plus boss-climb (as suitable for a game inspired by Shadow of the Colossus). This is just frustrating because I really want to play this but can barely do anything with all the lag.

So, I've got all items, can't beat last boss.
And... I can't farm more fish to improve stats since all levels are passed?!
Great, you mean I need re-pass all levels to get an achievement?
To all players: leave at least 1 item not picked on last level to make fish farming possible.

"Sorry, but the game requires a powerful computer."? WTH? It's 8-bit graphics on a 2d plataformer with a single action button. It should not run like molasses. 1/5. Did not deserve medals.

Just had the Hard Badge, can't complete 100% on level 20 (only 90%), this game is really, really fun and cool and stuff, but, refreshing 10 times an hour, is like, I won't have 100% completion. Sorry Yellow ranger, I will never have you.

Ok sorry, but I thought the very first thing you would improve in version 2 would be the lag issue. This game feels like you don't give a single f about reviews and how well your own game works.

+ For Tips to Beat Game. All Kitties were 39/41/39. I used Vegeta + small orange ball, Lizard + Dragon Ball, Darth V + VHS tape, Notzelda + Wings so all were Super. I played Lvl 20 over and over with all kitties having +20% fish. This allowed me to pump stats. Even though last boss is autofight, play a couple times if you lose - numbers may change. + If this Helps!

Why do you people make games that don't save properly? I have to manually search for the save folder and save the games somewhere else for some reason.

The heaviest load appears to come from a javascript on cdn4.kongcdn.com. It's not up to me to elaborate on this, because I'm not a game tester, developer or seller - I'd just like to play this game normally.

I've noticed a lot of lag in other games in recent weeks as well. I wonder if there is a problem with Kong's servers.

how about you break new ground by making the quality button actually do something? Such as turn off all those pointless graphical effects which eat so many processor resources. We don't need to see their legs move, the fish go to the bucket, the bounce, the leaves fall from the trees. Until you're able to make all those happen without bringing gaming rigs to their knees with a flash game, maybe you should let us turn them off?

If you like the game, just reload the page in few second you can resolve lag. when it starts slow again just reload etc.

I love how slow training quickly becomes. For me, nothing is more enjoyable than holding down the mouse button and watching as a bar rises infinitesimally slowly.

There is a bug in level 17, the map shows three platforms to jump on and only two are present. Can't get the remaining chest because of it. -.-

I finished a round of level two and all the levels started flashing between crowns and 10% and nothing could be clicked.

Really fun concept, but the lag is terrible. "Sorry, but the game requires a powerful computer." isn't a great excuse.

Epic fail. Lag caused crash which occurred when I had amassed 49 outfits for the easy badge. How long did that take me? Around an hour. For an easy badge I didn't get to complete. Fix the memory leak. Or else your reputation as a game company will be known as the company to avoid because you can't even play the game.

to add to what terzak said about problems not involving lag, having to also adjust quality every start up is also annoying, and there are inaccuracies and general confusion with some of the costumes/parts. ie the "green light" (green lantern) weapon is actually a ranged weapon even though its marked as a melee and the "monocular" (cyclops) hat counts as a ranged weapon if you dont have a weapon equipped and those arent the only ones that defy convention (spiderman and bulbasaur are another 2). its very frustrating not being able to trust the game to be consistent.

I finished a level, and the enemy list that pops up at the end scrolled continuously through all enemies and outfits. My money went to 10 thousand for the level and it awarded me the hard badge.
But I'm sure it's because I don't have a powerful computer, and not because this game is a buggy piece of crap.

Pushing aside the "powerful computer not memory leak for realsies" issue for a moment; Having to disable sound each startup, two-piece costumes not properly applying their set bonuses, and the mess that is the exercise system are all troubled design elements.
