"It's time to change your clothes!" No it's not, these are the best for this level. "It's time to train my fighters!" No it's not, I don't have enough fish to even level up 1 stat on any of my cats.

Although several people have already mentioned the same thing, I feel that my upvoting their comments on the matter simply wasn't enough. So to reiterate, how in the hell does this game lag so badly, even on low quality?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I made the mistake of right clicking and selecting play to see if I could skip the intros, but apparently I enabled insane mode. Holy crap.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I got a weird glitch on level one replaying it. It seems that the outfits and chests keep cycling through even through levels I haven't got and it shows that I have an amount of fish close to 10k even though that is not the case. Also man.. so laggy.

Thank you for trying out Strikeforce Kitty 2! To play this amazing flash game, all you need is a badass computer and you can start playing! If you have problems with this website then... you did not use a badass computer enough....(Yeah Martin you should really update the lagginess.)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I want to really enjoy this game, but a game like this shouldn't hog up so much CPU and lag incessantly. I don't think Strikeforce Kitties 2 should warrant a strong computer, but rather be optimized to work best on most computers.

Me with my own laptop Toshiba (4 GB ) I'm doing great.
What you have to do is lower the quality and you will be fine
(If it work in my opinion.)

The longer you play, the worse it becomes. That is text book example of poor optimization. Don't say you need a great computer. This is a simple flash game. I HAVE an awesome computer and still this thing makes my CPU heat up more than a Witcher game.

ok there is a few things that improved from the first one, like not dying because of time and the whole clothing page and the training is interesting. but what is up with not being able to jump down and all this switching directions? and as usual, the massive lag. MY computer is the crappiest oldest piece of junk ever and it runs perfectly fine at first, then after a while for no reason its unplayable.

Just beat the final boss, here are some tips.
Melee characters are highly inefficient there, because they lose time by running, that's why you need a team full of ranged characters. Moreover, they should have effects that boost life and attack power of the party (speed is not nearly as useful in this fight). You shouldn't need any grinding that way, especially if you neglected speed on your characters early on.
Here's the optimal team IMHO : Lawson, Boat, Dracula and Clone. Good luck and don't forget to upvote this comment if it was useful to you!

*at the bar with friends* "Alright, alright. So, I'm playing this flash game, right? And it is completely lag filled; unplayable, if you will. And then the developer, heh. The developer blames the computer! *all laugh*
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Could be so much fun, shame about the lag, and don't give me that "need a powerful computer" rubbish, just poor coding!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@2wizard I just got the same flickering glitch (except it was crowns alternating with 10%). I reported it to the devs. And yes, it probably IS a memory leak because toggling quality has no effect but refreshing the page speeds it all up.
But the real question we should all be asking is WHERE CAN WE GET THESE "POWERFUL COMPUTERS" THE DEVS ARE TALKING ABOUT?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game is what happens when you decide you don't need any formal training and decide to just "learn computers" on your own.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I feel like someone must be in cahoots with someone because they've badged both the Strikeforce Kitty games and they're both extremely laggy for everyone (even those with "powerful computers").
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the game just glitched on me after playing for a little while. every level on the map is flickering between locked and having a crown over it. I'm thinking memory leak.
...does anyone else wonder if these ratings are real? Who actually gave this game 5 stars?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I really hate to break this to you but it does not require "a powerful computer to play", it requires better programming. As you can see from many of the comments, most of us have computers that can run high intensity games such as skyrim, payday, borderlands..... the list goes on. We should be able to play a game like this fine. However, it most basic computers should be able to play flash games fine. You can keep saying that it is our computer's fault, but it's really not, it's something on your end, and you need to own up and fix it, and if you don't know how to fix it in your code, you need to learn how.

The most annoying thing about the lag in my opinion is that the game is so full of lag that even when I press the right jump button I can't jump.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
People please stop, this guy deserves some credit. I bet none of you can make a flash game unplayable on a PC that runs Skyrim

Okay, so I managed to get to level 4 with little lag. (I'm using a 2014 iMac.) Then after I lost level 4, it went back to the map screen, right? Well, then it started glitching out and lagging so that it says every level is level 1 and has a crown over it (assuming that means it was completed 100%) But I can't even click anything? Not even the home button?
I know games are supposed to have bugs but this game, even on a powerful, high FPS computer is lagging. And it's a FLASH game. I can play Team Fortress 2 at 60fps at max graphics and get no lag.
Im sad because this game looks really fun.

Well, I'm happy with my 12 gigs of RAM, so the lag isn't a problem for me. As for the game itself, it improved on the original in terms of layout and features, as well as shinier graphics. Costumes are easier to locate, and their benefits can be viewed with just a mouseover. Lots of great cat costumes too. This is basically an overall improvement over the first game, yay. Thank you for all the kitties~

Last time I encountered lag this bad, it was during the flash game "Heir" while playing it on my old laptop. The reason for lag there was the fact that each level was one solid massive map, plus boss-climb (as suitable for a game inspired by Shadow of the Colossus). This is just frustrating because I really want to play this but can barely do anything with all the lag.

So, I've got all items, can't beat last boss.
And... I can't farm more fish to improve stats since all levels are passed?!
Great, you mean I need re-pass all levels to get an achievement?
To all players: leave at least 1 item not picked on last level to make fish farming possible.

"Sorry, but the game requires a powerful computer."? WTH? It's 8-bit graphics on a 2d plataformer with a single action button. It should not run like molasses. 1/5. Did not deserve medals.

Just had the Hard Badge, can't complete 100% on level 20 (only 90%), this game is really, really fun and cool and stuff, but, refreshing 10 times an hour, is like, I won't have 100% completion. Sorry Yellow ranger, I will never have you.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ok sorry, but I thought the very first thing you would improve in version 2 would be the lag issue. This game feels like you don't give a single f about reviews and how well your own game works.
