one thing - there's something that looks like a trapdoor in one of the room's ceiling. Is there anything you can do with it?

I love this expansion of the original! I pleayed this way back when it first came out and I'm glad I decided to replay it. I love that there's a use for the machine other than breaking it straight away. I'm also happy to see the tie-in with wisdom gems, no special ending if you get it though, oh well. As for those that are wondering, there is a slight difference between the two doors at the end. I wouldn't exactly say it's *worth* playing the game twice to see them both but it was nice to feel like you had a choice with what happened next.
Great game, great series, great update to a great classic. Thanks for it all.

Another awesome point-and-click. I'm almost curious, though... Does it matter which door is taken at the very end? I think I'll favorite this and find out later... ;)

game would be a lot creepier if there was more detail within the rooms. otherwise this was a very good puzzle game, had me flipping in and out of rooms like crazy trying to figure it out.

Probably the most involving Flash game I've ever played. It was challenging, but not unreasonably difficult. Great job.

i liked the game, but the only problem i can see is if you put the spoon in too early you can't get on of thew four pieces.

hmm; this version is a different one from the "submachine 1" i played, but i think i like this one better. and that 'red pill blue pill' thing at the end is great ^^

Sound is needed to find an object...if that object is used before getting a tile you cannot then finish the game.
Also I could not find out how to open the hatch. I press a level after the power out but ...:-(

Great game in keeping with the rest of the series, though sadly it doesn't allude to the mysterious storyline that pops up later on in the series.
