ok, those of you having trouble with lvl 3... when you click the device in room 1,1, PAY ATTENTION to what TWO numbers are there... that's two numbers, not a two-digit number, NO MATH INVOLVED. :D 5/5, i love it

Good game though the parts with colour matching are very difficult for people with colour differentiation problems (ie colour blindness)

Being a math phobe, the first 3 levels fried my brain. When I got ot the third one, I thought 'this isn't submachine for me, I quit'
Then I read the comments -- and heard people saying that it's better after lvl 3. So I used a walkthrough to get past the first 3.
After 3, i was really enjoying it and working it out myself, without getting a headache! lvl 4+ is submachine for me. So, if you are like me, don't give up -- go past first 3, enjoy it from there.
4/5 due to not being able to do the start.

For all of you who are saying this is too easy, will someone smack me upside the head and tell me what I'm missing in level 3?!!! Not that I care about being stuck, because I love this. One of my favourites already at Kongregate - a huge thankyou from an 'alternative' (if seemingly-stoopid) fan! 5/5

This is kinda hard...but once I figured out what I was doing, it was actually easy. A little bit of luck helped too. But I prefer the other submachines. 3/5

moltak101's ridiculous, this is a pretty nice game. I enjoyed it, even if a coupla the puzzles were major headscratchers, or that one that was a headgouger to me. 4/5
Oh, and:
Achievements please?

I just completed the happy ending and the badengine.
Bad-Ending: Complete the 11th puzzle.
Happy-Ending: Escape in the 11th puzzle.

for me, this was somehow the easiest of the series, the puzzles all made sense and i figured them out really fast. running around a building looking for items and figuring out what to do with them was much more challenging.
but anyway, this game was good as well and a little variation to the series was not a bad idea.
about the final level, i actually thought the letter was a trap and that, if you did what it told you (the simplest of all tasks), you would lose the game, as it wouldve seemed like another mischievous plan by the owner of the lighthouse, but i guess i was wrong. :D

Strange comments as I found this the most enjoyable of the series so far. Just me and the puzzles. Excellent concept and execution, with some brain bending challenges.
Good Job!

you all don't seems to understand the game, it need your brains as well as the other ones, just solve puzzle and love the story =D.

Enjoyed the first one but every iteration since then has been worse than the one before it. I don't even know what is going on at all in this one. I keep going into the same rooms over and over. The game should grip you right away and provide a clear idea what is going on. I'm put off by this game right away.

Very nice presentation in this game. I love the "clean" feel to most of the Submachine games, and this one is no different, except for the "just puzzles" part. Like all the other Submachines, this one creates that mysterious, indescribable what-the-hell-is-going-on feeling. Raises so many questions: Why were the submachines created? Why was there the loop? Do the submachines think? If so, why did they try and kill you? Gotta love the storyline.

I, apparently, pwn at this game. I finished it twice in 25 minutes :D (I had to redo the whole game to get the dehydration ending)
