Bug: Whenever I buy the left and right ship expander it expands up not out. It makes the expand up more expensive and the left and right the same cheap amount so I'm getting a really long ship and not wide.

Cool today beried under a pile of other games tomorrow...these types of games are popular mostly for kids that don't mind if their ships are ugly.

You do know that spaceships don't just stop when they run out of gas, right? I hope? They keep going in whatever direction at whatever speed they were going when they ran out.

Something is wrong. The entire left side is filled with highest grade weapons. I have all the regens, all the damage buffs, only 2 gatherers, 1 fuel, rest is shield. Even with the 'go to the far right of the screen' exploit I can't get past the final batch of enemies. I can see nothing else that can be done.

Okay, let's review: I invade multiple galaxies, slaughter legions of ships and space organisms, steal their resources and when I'm all done I head home, and I'm not proud because I protected my people from an evil invasion or found the technology I needed to cure some uber-plague...no, I'm proud of the fact that I built the biggest ship ever for bragging rights. Fun game, but wow do I feel like a dick now.

To beat the last level simply put all your weapons on one side of the ship then steer straight to the opposite side of the screen. Around 1/3 of the enemies will completely ignore you and decent regen and shields will keep you alive quite easily. The last boss is a two second battle as long as you have a couple of damage modifiers, getting there is the only real issue.

Someone doesn't understand inertia. I get losing control when you run out of fuel, but going into a random sideways spiral from traveling forward when the engines cut out is just stupid.

In space no one can hear you scream. But in my house they sure can when both the boss and I have a sliver of shield left and the boss gets the first hit.

@karserus: The site module is actually pretty good. Let's say you fired all your weapons at once and it did 20 damage total (you should be doing more by the time you get the site module). 25% more damage means you do an additional 5 damage, which is the equivalent of 5 weapons (or 2 weapons and a missile). So you're basically filling 5 spots on your ship in the space of one.

This game has potential and is pretty decent, but it could use some improvement. The level progression feels really slow and repetitive, especially since other than pressing Start and watching, there isn't much to do. Maybe add a Speed button? I also found out that the blue gears were a substitute of iron after reading the comments, but I don't remember there being a place explaining this ingame or better yet, a tutorial explaining how to use the shop, what's a shield, tips and tricks, etc. Y'know, just so the game isn't all about trial and error.

There should really be a trader to convert stars to ore and vice-versa, and maybe controlling where shots go using the mouse, this way you don't end up having all your weapons focusing on destroying the minor ships instead of the bosses, ultimately leading to death.

just got a FATAL ERROR. Cant continue, obviously my savegame is corrupted. I was moving modules around when one of them started appearing in places where it shouldnt be (between grid slots). This is a nice game, fix those and i ll prolly play it again.

This game really had a lot of potential. However, several botched concepts made it dull after a short time. The beginning is fine--I really did enjoy building my ship up, expanding it, and destroying enemies and it was fun! After a short time though, I realized that the levels are all the same, no matter what size galaxy it was, the components didn't vary much, and it became a grindquest instead of a fun space shooter. You see, you can't do anything except turn your ship about 15-20 degrees, and that doesn't help anything except resource gather, which is boring. Enemies always hit you, turrets that have guns don't rotate, and it just ends up being really dull after a short period of time. If you had made it so we could control our ship, or aim, or use abilities or something else, then it would earn a better rating, but for failed concepts and grindquest mechanics, 2/5 stars.

If you are having trouble with a zone final boss, you can jam all your guns and harvesters on one side of your ship and all your gear on the other. Then just fly all the way to the side so that the gear end is out in space. You'll take less damage on the way to the boss.

4) Your ship peaks WAY too early. By the mid-late game I just hit play and didn't touch my keyboard or mouse to move. I mowed everything down and grabbed everything without moving.
5) make some reason to move, I really only used it against Phantoms to get the big ones in range as they were eating my rockets.
6) Let us move up and down as well, only being able to move left and right is boring
7) Give us something to make our ship move faster. I see you have a speed counter, but I never say anything to make it go faster than 1

An interesting game, but some things.
1) Get rid of the stars or make them more important, I felt my cargo was wasting time on them when I have 5 times as many as I'll ever use.
2) Let us pick what our cargo prioritizes as Ore was WAY more important to me early/mid game, and late game repair/fuel was.
3) The only enemy I had trouble with was the Phantoms, the Pirates were laughable, and the Swarm merely annoying, Let them scale better rather than throwing bigger waves at us. (1/2)

The last level is missing something, I need more regen or something cause all these ships get 1st hits on me no matter what, more guns or more damage doesn't help no matter what combo I try

On the last level this game jumps from "this is challenging" to "ha ha this is stupid". Wasn't able to finish it. Good game other than that.

For the love of all that is good in the world, don't make projectiles disappear if their target is destroyed before they arrive. Make them keep going (even missiles; have them either find a new target or just travel straight ahead) until they go off the screen or hit a different enemy. The way things work now makes missile launchers almost useless.

The shop on the last level doesn't have any regens or harvesters to buy, so you could potentially screw yourself because you can't revisit shops from earlier levels (a silly limitation).

Fun game... If you are doing a second one... I would focus a little more on ship layout... for example a rocket shape, a dumb bell shape, funky star trek or star wars designs... also have advantages & disadvantages to each layout. Also improve the story... Cheers.

Ugh, I finally managed to beat it, last boss with 8 best shield, 2 harvest, 8 satellite things (+25% dmg), 5 regen modules, the rest weapons, mainly fast shooting guns, few rockets. Harvesters are for picking up fuel to make it to the boss with only 1 fuel module. Note that when you lose one level 3 times, you get more modules to buy available on particular level. It means if you want more regen modules, you need to lose a level where this module is available to buy. Sadly last lvl doesn't have regen to buy. Nice game, interesting concept, 5\5 and hoping for sequel :)

Decent start, but it needs work. If there is no reason to continue past the third checkpoint, the level should probably end. Why list "Speed" if there is no way to adjust it? What the hell are the blue gears for? Concept is interesting, needs polish.
