The only way I managed to beat the final level was to put all of my passives on one side and all my weapons on another the go completely to one side of the screen so my passives were off the map (and unable to take damage or draw aggro). Kind of a poor design on that last part in my opinion since the only way to win is to cheese your way through it.

One major thing that annoyed me with this game is the fact that all projectiles disappear once something is killed. Now, for the sake of realism, what kind of a gun or missile fires, destroys something and all projectiles behind it just disappear? I think it's either lazy coding, or an artificial difficulty enhancer, which I hate, because it's then also lazy game design for an otherwise outstanding romp. 3 of 5.

Weapon shop needs sorting of some sort.... By tier 1 2 or 3 weapons.... I'm in a super big galaxy, tier 1s on my full shized ship wont help

challenging (later levels :P) and fun 5/5. oh its a nice gesture to add items to the shop if one cannot complete a level several time :)

Every time it says it expands the front of the ship, it expands the sides. And everytime it says it does the sides, it does the front. Just so you know.

Upgrades are fun, but the gameplay itself is pretty boring, I found myself just loading up my ship and switching to another tab.

I really wish there was a tag something along the lines of "Grind" or "Grind from Level One" or "Resource Imbalance" or perhaps "Shop That Takes Way Too Long to Refresh"

Here are some tips for beating the final galaxy. Gather 5 damage increasing radars. Use the lasers, not the missles. Use most of the lasers on the front row and place a couple of lasers towards the back and the side of the ship. Use all regenerators. Use a couple of fuel tanks and 1 drone collector for extra fuel and repairs. Fill the rest of the ship with shields. Done!

i would like to make a point: there is no reason to look at the game while playing, i found myself alt-tabing as soon as i launched

It can be won even with missiles
It's important to spread out missiles. i had 4 up front, 4 in the back. 2 lvl 3 fuel packs and 6 regens. 8 health, 2 amplifiers and the rest regular guns.

Has anyone actually won this game. I'm finding the final level (tier 3) to be impossible. I have all upgraded level 3 weapons, shields, boosts, etc with 1 engine and still get wiped out.

@Azgara - The shop is not refreshing on my end. If it was I could get out of this build and try something different Right now I am stuck with a bunch of shields, mix of missiles and triple cannons on my outer edge, and 1 single drone hanger along with 2-3 power amplifiers...been stuck this way for 2 days now.

I don't get why people say it's difficult. In swarm galaxies you have to get weapons with fast recharge. It's obvious. In the last galaxy i only used such weapons (no missiles at all). One thing, if you let your ship die some times (i think 3) the items in the shop refresh and you can get more. I had 8 damage amplifiers in the end (+25% each ? )

It is way to easy to lock yourself into a bad build and not have a way out. I am stuck on the core of the last level and cannot get the resources, or the items to show up in the shop, to get me out of the situation.
