Nadavv, like I said, I can't make videos, but I hope this helps for 96-3. Follow the black lines, avoid the red crosses, and use the path displayed by the images. Let me know whether it works! http://imgur.com/a/yfIRd

No, this N is crap. There is a version on mofunzone that is much faster, the controls are 10x slower.

I seem to remember a level editor? Apart from the slightly outdated version, It is as i remember it. Thanks for reminding me :)

Nadavv, that's still about 96-3, right? I don't have any capturing software, but I'll see whether I can give some screencaps to show the path.

I don't know why so many people complain about the controls... I haven't played a platform game with more precise controls than N. The game works exactly as I remember it did many years ago on the download version. The levels are definitely different though, but I think this game deserves a much higher rating - N was the first flash platformer with great, precise controls. Can't understand the low score.

"Press jump to begin level"... I press 'space' by reflex and it starts the level but then doesn't work as the jump button.
'z' is the jump key.
I almost stopped playing this game because of this stupid bug. Fix it! I'm sure it has put a lot of people off already.

I miss some features in the original, such as time records. It's definitely very different for gameplay when collecting gold becomes almost meaningless.
I do believe the slowness has to do with the flash player version, so update away (For me, this version actually plays smoother than the original!).
And finally, now that the levelset has changed and some levels have been made more evil... let the ragequit begin.

controls feel the same as the old flash version that I have, the original free one. Don't know what they did to the controls for the console version to make everyone whine when they come back to the real thing.

Cool to see it on the comp, but for some reason I can't get my guy to jump after just touching something. Slow controls? Bah, I'll just play it on the console with analog ftw.

@Duungraf Your memory is failing you - in N ninja always had big interia, thus why jumping in tight passages filled with mines was always so damn hard.
However... I know these levels have nothing to do with first version of the game, but... are those easier?

Just tried the original again and as I remember, I DON'T MISS SIMPLE WALL JUMPS THAT OFTEN. Fix the damn controls on the giant cock tease.

There is always that one moment where you get very close to the end of a very hard level, and then you die by hitting a simple mine. zs

I recently downloaded it on a better computer, and I have to say downloading it on a decently good computer cuts the lag by a lot. Still wish there was a boss mode. :3

I remember wasting most of my high school classes playing this game (older version I think), never could beat the entire thing. Like other people have said the controls seem a little off. Still awesome though!

I like this game but i like this game and N+ because this one is easier and it has 2 player which I don't always remember. But I also kind of want a challenge so...

I detect Kongregate's 48th impossible badge here, for just simply completing the levels, ignoring collecting all the coins.

The control are exactly like I remember them from the original N. They were every bit as sluggish and frustrating - it's part of the game's charm.

"oh look he's learned to fly! oh look here comes a missile!-" "-oh look he's in pieces!" or "-oh look he finally fell 3 feet and exploded from impact!" or "-oh look he fell landed and now won't move!" those are my reactions to his death
