Yes, I agree with invictus. Doom was the original fps. Yes, it's controls and graphics aren't that good, but it's the ancestor of all "modern" FPS. 5/5

Simply because it seems that some of you youngins don't seem to understand, Doom wasn't originally a flash game. It was a revolution to the gaming industry... You know Gears of War? GTA? Call of Duty? They all owe Doom at least something. So when you say the graphics suck, and the controls suck, and the gameplay sucks, I agree. But you simply leave it at that is both ignorant and ungrateful. I don't expect you to like it, I'd just like you to appreciate your roots.... but that's probably expecting too much from all the 14 year olds who don't understand the contribution... guess I can't fault you too much.
ANYWAY - a PERFECT recreation of the game, even has the 'order me now for $40 dollars' screen. beautifully done. 5/5

hehe nice work geting this over to flash, anyway i prefer to play the original, and space open doors in original here it shoots. get some badge to it:P like completing maps on time, get 100% on maps 200 kills etc.

you know doom is old and with it quit complaining dont use the map and just clear a room instead of pausing lol its that simple

In the good old days I'd play this on my DOS PC. Ran just as slow! LOL

1 thing though, once I hit tab to see the map, I cannot get out of it. Tab key no longer functions in the flash window.

First: Doom is The best game ever.
Second: Double barrel shotgun rules. Too bad it only came out on Doom 2.
Now, congratulations on the job man. It's awesome to play doom on kong though I have the whole collection on my pc. Just wish I could change controls in- game. other than that, it ROOOCKS!!!

This game really shouldn't be here, the dev's work hard on their games and earn so little, this guy didn't do that much yet he is going to make hundreds in ad revenue.

Wow. This really kinda blows. The controls are wrong, and the movement is way lagged. There is no mouse control, and the control key and spacebar functions seem to be swapped. Go find Doom '95 somewhere for 5 bucks. It's got Doom and Doom 2, and some network functions. Nice try, but please try again, cause it would be wicked cool to have a good flash version of Doom.

OMG!!! I cut my teeth on Wolfenstein 3D and Doom 1. For those of you who don't remember or aren't old enough to know: IDKFA and IDDQD. Just type either combination of letters in while in game.

Im 15. I played Doom 1 and 2, Quake 1, Serius Sam 1 and 2.
It took a little for me to remeber it all. I played Doom about 8 or 10 years ago... Was, is and will be a 5/5. From what i saw, its a replica. I dont have stomach anymore for FPS games, but my dad is gonna LOVE this the moment i show him...

Perfect! This very adequately replicates the functionality of Doom, and as arseiam said, expect to see a lot more open sourced classic games ported to Flash.
I would love to see this port allow the use of Client-Side or Web-Side WAD files so that we can play the full version of Doom and Doom 2, in addition to custom PWADs to play all of our favorites on the go.
