why is there a problem with only playing one of the ports of doom. i became a DooM addict from playing it on my SNES, but now i have the shareware version on my Windows 98. That really surprises me though, it moves at a high framerate on a cyrix 2 proccessor with no graphics card in the tower.

TAB key tabs from flash hot spot to hotspot, so it sometimes (often) doesnt pull up the map. Seems a lot laggier than the original, and no sound :(

the reason people are willing to pay for it to play it still (even though there are free versions of it everywhere) is because it was/is/always will be a great game (doom, final doom, ultimate doom, and doom 2 i mean cause doom 3 sucked balls imho)

You guys kill me. Its an old game with outdated graffics. Ever heard of emulators? Most of the world has been playing old games for years... download on the 360? Why on earth would you do that? And pay for it? Are you on crack? Why would you pay microsoft for that??????

I remember when this game was just a simple shareware disk and it would only work on Dos, I still remember the commands. it was like CD\Doom. xD
