Its wierd..... every time i have less then 500 coins I dont see the voucher but every time I have over 500 coins i just dont meet with the store....
Also with the dragon.... I meet him right after i fight a golem which take 75% off my health....

Seeing 1 or 2 potion shops day 1 and then none for 8 days with badly timed armor shops makes this entirely luck based. As others have said, your level needs to mean something.

Great game, but it should have some things like: 1. Lifespan bar could refill, when you upgrade weapon. 2. Some additional bonuses based on level and equpiment, like cheaper shop, greater attack speed, maybe a little healing, and of course more gold from enemy, as you level up. 3. Elixirs sould stack up, not replace one with another. 4. Some bonus exp from achievements maybe? 5. I would like to see, how armor and sword changing your look.
But otherwise it's still great game. Also music is awsome.

Dragon is easily beatable with Samurai Mail, a Rapier and a potion. I managed to do it like that, but my lifespan ended soon after : (

When leveling up you should aquire points for spending on different skills and stuff. Increase your attack speed, gain more money from monsters, shops cheaper, stronger base attack and base defense etc etc. Maybe unlock special skills like attacks and add shops where you spend cash to replenish an already used skill. Something seperate from items.

please PLEASE disable 2 dragonfights rigth after another.
also if the armor is max upgraded the armory should at least heal me. else you cant get divines edge as you need those elixers badly.

things i would like to see on the sequel:
1: More awsome music.
2: Sword and armor upgrades changing your look.
3: where is this crusade leading us? another continent? a dangerous castle with an evil mastermind ?

It would be nice if they programmed it so that there never appear two dragons after eachother. Just slayed my first one, second one right after >.<
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yay i slayed a dragon with full HP decent equipment and an elixier! bought both weapon and armour right after it, and what do you know? another dragon -.-'
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
impossible... Bullshit.... otherwise good game but all those dragons... and its almost impossible to buy upgrades at higher levels because you gotta buy elixirs/divine's every time you encounter them 3/5 until it's fixed otherwise 5/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
try to fix it where two dragons come one after another. was all set. maxed out items. used my divine edge on the first drag. then #2 came and ended me. no defense D:

The gold voucher is great, I just realized it XD it gives you 1000% the gold from an enemy when used (really nice XD). Just got 6 level ups in a single game, because of the voucher ^^ Survived till day 20 and killed 3 dragons ^^ died on the 4th dragon (5% health left) XD. Ok...got 100% completion through this >>'

What does a voucher even do? This game frustrates me, the lvl system has no real effect, and it is near impossible to afford higher lvl upgrades.

What else isn't fun? How about getting a dragon, then a swordsmith, then another dragon. That's right, even having a divine edge won't save you from the RNG (random number generator), because you'd need to have two of them to survive that kind of BS. And c'mon, what kind of logic makes your level multiply your score, but not give you any kind of strength advantage? That beats the point of both a level-up system AND a scoring system. I also vote to get rid of the whole 'lifespan' mechanic as it's totally unnessecary and seems basically like a second life bar to me.

This game is by no stretch of the imagination anything other than entirely luck-based. That does not make a fun game. For example: The only way to beat a dragon is with a divine edge and you have no clue when a dragon could come up in the enemies, so really, you shouldn't ever buy any items other than a divine edge, in theory. The necessity for one makes all other items useless in comparison. Your ability to make a successful run is entirely contingent on random things being in the right order.

This game reminds me of Half-Minute Hero, the fast gameplay is very similar to it. I'd like to see something like, multiple levels with different enemies and more equipment to choose from! Maybe work in magic spells too?

OP dragon is OP. Can't defeat it without Divine Edge, but I encounter 9125802175 dragons before I encounter a Divine Edge Shop.
I also hit 0% sometimes before I reach a Lifespan Replenishing point.

A guide for beginners:
save your gold at the start and only spend it when your are
1. low on hp upgrade your armour it heals u to full hp
2. low on lifespan
3. see a gold cupon
once u see a gold cupon buy it and then u will start to rake in serious cash, and thats when u can just upgrade everything.
Past day 10 u will need to have divine edge on u at all times so u dont die to dragon :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
few notes the lifespan bar bothered me because u have to waste so much money keeping your time limit going that the dragon appears and destroys you hard also dragon is OP pls make it weaker i had full upgrades and hardly did anything. i do like the money voucher great idea on that one also like how the armor refills your health. oh and if you made more monsters and maybe a change in how the armor and weapon looks as it gets upgraded that would be cool

I faced my first dragon on day 10. I died because I hadn't even had the opportunity to buy a divine edge yet :( please fix
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The dragon is now beatable without the divine edge, but the new thing seems to be consecutive dragon spawns: kill one dragon in epic battle, get no healing or divine edge afterward, then face another dragon the very next combat.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
One importantish thing. Once armor is maxed all armor shops should turn into pharmacy. After weapon max all weapon shops turn into divine edges. Of course the ratio of encounters would have to change. It would just be fun to get to enjoy your stuff for a while.

There needs to be more warning that we will be hitting a dragon soon. Even a set day that you hit your first, so that you know to have a divine edge waiting. I've encountered them as soon as day 7 and as late as day 11. We need to know, so that we can have some strategy. I do really like that buying new armor replenishes your health, like replacing the broken stuff with new helps. I would also like to have the sanctuary either replenish health as well, or have a place other than buying new gear to fill it. The elixer is all well and good, but once we hit dragon slaying divine edge is the only thing you can justify having around. Perhaps a more gentle curve on the cost of the sanctuary as well. As the only "required" purchase, it gets to feel like its taking a big chunk of my cash and doing nothing. Hope see a sequel soon!

Are you kidding me? I just killed a dragon through what I can only imagine is a combination of pure luck and a potion on day 9, only to have the next enemy after him be another dragon.

Dragons are still unbelievably nasty, and I think combat still needs more balancing (the stone golems, in particular, seem to hit too fast for their damage/health), but the 1.2 changes are enough to make me re-score this game as a 5/5. Any plans for a TK2?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I agree with all of the other comments saying that there should be other benefits to leveling up besides just getting the ending score higher. (higher starting hp, higher starting defense, etc.)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What i would like to see is an improved chance for a grim shop (divine edge) after day 8
I died about 1M times (well, it felt like that) because i had no divine edge and ran into a dragon
(without maxed armor and sword)

Great game, addicting to watch and/or play, playing at school today had a group around me just watching ( xD ) But please make it less random, add some progression (with the levels and such) I know this is a high demand, but the more we say it the faster it comes right? (lol)
