I'm getting a bunch of blue and green things when ramming hives and mines, but they don't show up in the shop screen and there is no indication to what it actually is.

i actually went to the core with the wasp hull and u r so fast and agile that u can dodge and destroy all obsticals. so i dont bother all the other ussues that ppl mentioned. u cant expect an entirely perfect game for free. but getting roasted in the core to get a minimum of the gems that u need to upgrade to get slightly more of em is pretty much everybody make quit the game.
1)a solution might be to make a menu to upgrade the amount of core gems u get for one piece u find. dont expect me to go to the core 5000 times still depending on luck more then on previous upgrades.
2)make speed upgrade also available on the last hull so u dont have to waste sooo much time traveling to the core

There is now a memory usage indicator on the screen. Not to be a smart alec. but "mb" means millibit, which makexs not sense. You probably want "MB" for megabyte... but I am guessing you are really measuring kilobytes due to the high numbers.

TLDR: Unbalanced game-play technical problems. Don't play without major reworking.
Although it tries hard, this game is horribly balanced at the end game. The so called "ultimate items" are actually borderline useless without putting a MASSIVE amount of time into upgrading them. Then there is the heat damage mechanic While I understand the desire to implement heat damage as a game mechanic, this game does it quite poorly. How about a way to prevent it? Heat resistance only buys you some time and eventually fails no matter how many upgrades you have. Finally, the game itself runs quite poorly, suffering from major lag on most digs that go deeper that a few hundred meters.

Also.....just fyi for the group....it took me 315 days to finally max out top tier equipment. Only thing missing now for me is the drill you get for completing all Red Planet challenges. A trick I learned and utilized was to simply run the drill and let it run in the background while I do other things. No controlling necessary. This alone got me all the plasma I needed at about 10-15 per run.

Unclear what "Barriers" are for Red Planet achievement "500m without barriers"......made it to 500+m without hitting any of the orange/red orbs that cause thermal damage....were these the barriers?

It would be nice if upgrading parts bought with Plasma was possible without spending hundreds upon hundreds of plasma when you only get maybe 10 - 20 per drill.

Hmm, I see lots of ppl complaining about grinding in this game. For me that wasn't too much. Ok, it was little hard to get some red crystals for upgrade, but after i got 3, getting plasma from core was really easy. Wasp, gold drill, hive, circle, afterburner and thermo booster. I had only maxed turbo and boost. Minimum 10 plasma per run in core. 1. Don't be afraid of lasers/mines and "queen". You can always destroy them with drill and bugs from queen are easy to dodge. 2. You have to hit mines, bug nests and lasers for technologies, they are really helpful.

Buying a new piece of equipment should give you something stronger than what you have, rather than something weaker that requires 30 minutes of grinding just to get up to the same level as what you have. Like every other upgrade game does.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
uuuuugh the grind at the bottom is just stupid and saw a comment about jumping to get more plasma... yeah thats still at least 20 minimum runs and thats only if i'm succesfull with them all at this point :S and if i upgrade something i delay that time by at least 2 runs :S the wasp seems most successful on getting plasma by just going straight down without me having to bother with it though so might just do that in the background >_>

I like the game, it's a rather nice change of pace from all the idle games - I wouldn't even mind the grinding so much, if it wasn't for 2 things: 1, the lasers - and 2, the lag. The lasers are too prolific and the lag's the only thing more deadly than the lasers.

Since I'm giving up entirely on this game, I'll make a list of "what went wrong": 1) you're supposed to dodge laser and mines in a place with very low mobility 2) Updates are a chore and take way too long to see actual results 3) bugs deal to much damage and it's always the same if you attack or get attacked 4) turbo boost is mild step forward at best 5) gems should be more availabe since they are essential for upgrades 6) after 500 m. it's a laser & mines-fest 7) after 700 m. you get attacked by a bug shooting monster with no chance of defense 8) lag 9) some achievements do not make sense: Agile 1 (no material blocks 100m), but you hit one on the very second you are dropped!

Regerdless the grind I enjoy this game a lot! Here is my tip to save you a bit time/frustration , to get the batteries you need to drill for a few minutes which is a bit difficult, all you need to do is drill sideways and let it on auto, since you will not be deep you take too low damage so you can drill long enough to get your new battery, cheers and have fun!

There can be blocks covered by enemy turrets or bug nests, so they need to be avoided too, is the most I could figure. It took me multiple tries to get that red planet achievement too, and I think this is why.

Game is pretty nice and fun, the grinding is slow but the biggest problem are the gems. When you finally reach the core you pretty much don't need resources anymore, you only need gems and they are pretty hard to farm, even more if the upgrades end up costing like 100 of the rarest ones.
I'd suggest adding a refining option to trade lower resources (completely useless by the end of the game) for gems.

Agile red doesn't seem to be working. I avoided all the light orange rocks, got past 500, didn't get award. Did it again, still no award. If "Barriers" means something different, text needs to be clearer.

I know this is being repeated a lot but it is definitely an issue. I can barely steer at all. From 400+ meters its not even worth it to steer. I just boost straight down because I have no hope controlling it.

For those JUST STARTING: To get all in game achievements, DO NOT buy a TURBO before you get to the core for the first time. This achievement gives 100 plasma, and saves more grinding than a turbo is worth. DO NOT spend plasma on upgrades until you have jumped to the RED PLANET, where plasma is at the surface with 1-7+ per pickup. The candy drill has the same abilities as the 1st and 5th but can be upgraded more. It upgrades using gems (up to 100 at a time), so don't waste gems on older parts. Upgrading the hornet hull completely gives 1,000 plasma. You do NOT have need the green planet achievements to get the candy drill. Use a slow engine and sideways mining to unlock better energy cells to minimize upgrading waste. For RED PLANET achievements, barriers are the yellow fireball looking things; blocks are total number of squares, not to be confused with material (that you spend); reaching 500m in 30s is continual boost with the fastest combination of parts, the rest were easy enough.

For those who have reached the core, but think the grind for plasma is too high, ignore your upgrades. grind to 100 plasma and JUMP. there will be 2 new planets. one with no Boss bug in the 700-800 range, and the other that spawns all resources at all depths (including plasma). 70-100 plasma runs are not impossible.
Also, the secret drill is called "Candy." it's OP and only uses the colored crystals to level, no plasma. you get it by beating all the achievements you unlock when you jump.

The bottom lags like hell, something has to be done with it. Probably an option to toggle the bottom blocks animation could help.

I know its jut me who suck... but what do I click on when the robot says: Commander we got no energy for the jump....
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
simple to beat just stay with 2nd hull and 2nd drill till red level or until you can start building the4th hall thermo and the same with the 4th drill bit so you do not waist money the rest is up to you from there.

Please fix the lag issue, untill you get to 500-600m it's fine, after that it gets worse and near 700m i wasn't able to use my keyboard so i couldn't steer, like someone else said, remove the blocks/structures etc. from the memory since it is impossible to go up anyway...
Great game besides that, different hulls actually make a difference in gameplay 5/5.

Holy crap, we are not 4 years old, we don't need a tutorial like that, we are able to understand things by ourselves, wow
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There's a point, once you reach low enough, a cutscene sends you right back up. THAT sucked since for once I managed to get that down with enough energy and HP, and wasted it... and haven't been able to do it again. Now I barely get one or two plasmas when I do a run, and that's TOO grindy and slow.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I just realized I can't get the "hard mode" achievement without starting all over again, and I've already reached the core. It would be nice if the achievement only required you to not use your booster to reach the core, even if you have one installed and have used it before, that way you don't have to delete your progress just for one achievement.

I sense a logic error: Able to convert any Material into the needed but unable to turn Hydrogen and any other gas into Plasma (Compressing and Heating it)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I wish there was a dialogue confirmation telling me that buying a turbo component voids my possibility of getting an achievement.... that's so sad. And stupid. They don't even direct you to the achievements screen so by the time I discovered it it was already too late =/

Protip: On the Red planet, turn yourself sideways, and then go do something else. Come back a few minutes later, upgrade, rinse & repeat.

I've been playing this ALL day and I feel like my progress is no where. The upgrades take too long. Great concept, but when it's a game that doesn't have a lot of things going on, spending all day doing the same thing is repetitive and boring.
