Fun game, but question: I can't get the "Reach the core without turbo" to activate, even though I certainly didn't turbo. Is there any secret to it, or is it bugged?

Recently I have been collecting more than 4000 blocks per trip (5100~) and the 5th drill has yet to have been unlocked for me. Bug perhaps?

When making a game that is the same thing over and over, you'd think the biggest issue you'd want to resolve is things not becoming repetitive. Instead, you have to grind day after day just to get a few upgrades that don't make much difference. The game started out nice but became boring somewhere at the midpoint.

I think the "reach the core without turbo" challenge is bugged. The "core" is the last layer right? Well then i've reached it without turbo multiple times. But the game doesn't seem to ever register it.

After reaching about level 50 or so, the speed of grinding makes the upgrade progression rate almost drop off. At that point I'm upgrading 1 or 2 things per game day when it would be a bit more attention keeping if I was upgrading twice that much.

seems got a bug, i collected 6000 blocks in one round but the "3000 one round to unlock" drill is still locked for me

th upgrads com to a halt when you reach the core. an upgrade game is fun but if upgrading takes more than a few minutes for just one then it becomes lackluster.

I have no life :c - http://imgur.com/ZksOtAg. Really fun game except for the grind. The objectives were really straightforward and paced very well. Here are some general and specific tips: 1.) The hardest achievement was Agile Red because you can't just grind it out. You're going to have to start over a because sometimes barriers spawn where you enter, before your vision expands and there's nothing you can do about it. Dodging fireballs isn't too hard with some vision and agility upgrades but BEWARE OF BUGS. Lose vision and you don't even know if you even hit a barrier. The rest of the achievements can be completed with grind. 2.) For the speed-related tasks, use the H3 Wasp. It'll get you to 500M on red in 30 seconds. 3.) Cold Fire on the T4 turbo really helps, especially for grinding out that first 100 black technology to jump to the red planet. In combination with the B5 battery Turbo Charge, it can help you survive for a long time on the red planet.

Good game idea taken from Motherload(or its inspiration), but implementation is weak:
1) "progress curve" is imbalanced at the "red" and "plasma" resource availability (replaced values in-memory when plasma was needed for upgrade cos was bored!)
2) performance significantly drops right before lava appear on the green planet (timing, not reason)
3) mouse movements during the "dig" creates significant lag
4) no "restart" button while in game (disturbs while doing achievements mostly) need to stop current game while keeping the result.
5) "no barriers" - radar warm-up at the beginning does not allow avoid obstacles (spawn-fail achievements)
6) "no barriers" - tiles cover each other, can get a hit from a hidden object
7) why "s" does boost? Suggestion: make "s" slow down or do nothing
(whining warning) Motherload had tiles aka distructable environment that persisted between runs, which was 80% of fun for the game. Without it the game is just another vertical scroller - very sad.

Hey, I don't know if anyone knows yet, or not, but their are some 'things' down there that steal our ships energy to live (and breed, I think). Not sure how we should carry on, since they way outnumber us, but it is our duty. Just thought I'd let you know. BTW developers: Great Game! Major Kudo's 5/5 and then some! ;)

great job! i just wish the game had a different environmental feeling than motherload. the game play is different enough but the world isnt. i can definitely appreciate how each hull and drill etc has a different and almost equal use.

upgrades are negligible, feel way underpowered. I played for hours and my rig is still slow, cant turn worth a damn, and all the special slot upgrades just give 'cheaper' hull, vision, etc. This really needs an overhaul, upgrading is what makes it fun. This, instead, is very tedious.

I'm on day 85 and the deepest I've gotten is 738m. Why is the grind so crazy in this? Taking out a lot of the obstacles would make it more fun. Mines and lasers are a chore.

Don't spend plasma before jumping: It gets much easier to collect afterwards, and you need a ton for the ultimate equipment to be better than your standard stuff.

Ok, I got all the upgrades to the MAX (took me a while, haha) But somehow I can't reach the core :s !! What do I do wrong? Any "die hard" player can help me out here?

Actually that was shifted to all red achievements, so I guess you can get that one. Still it isn't nice to have an achievement you can fail just by getting something along the way.

So in essence unless you hard reset and start over entirely you can never get the no turbo achievement nor can you get the everything achievement which means you never get the best drill, assuming candy drill is the best.

What's the use of the pseudo-gems we obtain when destroying enemy structures? I can't seem to use or find them anywhere in my inventory.

My only complaint so far about this is the utter rarity of the green ggems. I've got oodles of others, but the greens are a massive chokepoint for advancement.

Even by the standards of upgrade games in general, progress feels really slow to me so far. And like someone said above, I also have a problem with the grammar -- not just the use of "u" in place of "you", but that's certainly the worst offense.

There needs to be a lot more balancing with these turrets. Sometimes you run into 5 turrets at the same time and you don't stand a chance. Also the blue turrets are kind of strong right now.

I rate this game 0/5.. Save for one initial turn, I can't maneuver the drill in any way, shape or form. All I can do is hope I don't hit mines and I get to watch all the powerups drift by since I can't get to them.
