Since I'm basicly grinding without steering for enough materials to buy the last upgrades - I had to grind for the rest of the upgrades as well, but then I at least tried to steer - how about a 4x game speed?

HINT: After you jump, remember that you can go back to the green planet. The red planet gives more gems and plasma per run, but the green planet gives more material. Alternating between them is probably a good strategy for the endgame.

Should've just called it "Grinding, the game"
Game is ok but lacks a feeling of accomplishment, in the beginning you progress fine and I understand how its supposed to be progressively harder, but when you have to grind for hours and hours to progress just 10 meters the fun runs out, even the candy drill is kind of a disappointment.

Why is the Speedometer more riddling than the Joker? I can basically see every random Number from 1 to 10 in there...

Samegerilja, material is gathered when simply digging through dirt, but blocks concentrate high material quantities. With luck you just stumble upon big pile of blocks and voila!

There are way too many obstacles, and the larger hulls lack agility to dodge them. I ran into four lines of rocks with laser boxes in between. This does so much damage to the hull that it is impossible to reach the magma/energy layer sometimes.

Wow, just got the candy achievement not knowing how. Is matieral blocks number of the stone looking blocks collected?

So what the f.... is a material block? You have material, and then you have block! I just cant wrap my head around on how to get 15 material blocks in 3 sec. And i have every other red achievements and upgraded every modules. Im trying to get the candy achievement.....

Could someone explain "Bonus King 2: Collect energy bonus after energy is over"? Does this mean I have to land on an energy bonus the exact moment that my energy is drained?

@shaggyshaw upgrade your ship to what you have resources for. Then you have to approx: 800 feet to collect those resources needed for jump.

Candy Drill: Save plasma award from reaching the core to purchase jump then alternate between red planet and green planet when you need gems or materials. Purchase the H5 Hornet next and try to max it, you can use it to do all red achievements except powerful red (500m 30s), and it gives you achievement reward of 1000 plasma to max other stuff. Max the wasp hull for powerful red achievement with the b5 nova battery turbo charge feature boost all the way pick up speed buff if they are right next to you. For Durable and Energetic just lock your steering to the right or left using the hornet or your biggest hull with your fattest battery and go afk or open another window and surf. To be honest alot of this is grinding materials/technologies so return to green boost down to 500m or so lock the steering horizontally and afk. >.>

I've upgraded everything to the max, but I still can't get to 500m on the red planet in less than a minute. How am I supposed to get the final drill, and therefore the badge?

This was indeed a fun game, but it did get really grindy. Whenever I have to resort to starting the game, then walking away, just to collect enough resources to eventually progress, it is time to re-think things.

when megadrill came out years ago, i thought that game was grindy, but this game proved me wrong lol. i can listen to the bgm in this game forever, but the grind kills me so bad. :(

Interesting game - Like a learn to fly, but going down instead of up. I enjoy it! Technical issue though - The achievement bonuses dont seem to be depositing resources.

Gotta say, even after reaching the core with no turbo to get the Maniac achievement, it still feels pointlessly grindy to try to collect enough plasma to Jump. First, there's the plasma cost for everything related to the Wasp hull, and most other parts in the top two tiers, all of which are "necessary" in that they might let you get more plasma 1% faster than without, but cost tons of it to upgrade compared to what they actually help you earn.

I did 500m in exactly 30 seconds with much less technology than other posters have described. around 275% technology with maxed wasp hull, maxed turbo, a barely upgraded nova battery and the s4 power booster. You need to use turbo nearly constantly to make the time limit.

I thought the "core" was at 900 .. but i didn't get the badge... so i figured i'd push to 1000 .... but still no badge... have i missed something ?

In order to reach 500m in less than 30s, you must collect technologies. I did it with around 400% in drill, battery and engine with wasp hull, lava drill, nova battery, furious engine, refrigerator turbo and power booster. It is extremely long to collect enough technologies...

Even with the recent update, it's still too grindy. Make the upgrades more meaningful, more noticeable a difference. Also, reduce the number of lasers, especially on the early worlds.

is it just me or is 500m in 30 second on the red planet totally impossible? Im fully maxxed out on the final teir of components but can still only manage 500 in 45.

Anybody able to get the red planet avoid obstacles for 500m achievement? Seems impossible or atleast close to impossible.

There should be a way to Form Plasma into Minerals ... maybe via another planet wich is yellow (Sun) where you loose 10 Plasma per second but gain 500 Minerals Per second and the heat is 10K and 1K + Per second heat.
