First thing: Achievements dont work, i got the 1k gems, 5k gems and 50k gems in one game.
Second one: The game is too much luck based

To beat the final boss.
1. In its easy form, try to match as much rage as you can, with near full health and energy. Raging on its final form will take away 1/4 of its health ,which is good.
2. Focus on matching defence. If you can also match counter, great. But otherwise at least you won't be seriously hurt.
3. Try to get lucky.

People go to Mochigames's account and shout him that they should make a multiplayer mode for biogems + this comment so everyone could see

Completed it to get a new "pet" ;S
Last boss mostly about luck, however it takes quite a few goes and playing smartly (using armor before they get full rage and skipping turns if bad board).

I died to the shark like 5 times. But beat the boss at the first try XD I found this strategy to work: Keep always in check the possible attack combination on the board. If there is only one, use it. If there are more then one, defend (defend, not counter). If there is none, heal/rage and try to set up a double defence/counter

This game is completely unbalanced. People say focus on one thing or another but its impossible to when the opponent has a counter attack up and the only matches they give you is attack or special. O and don't forget that when its your turn and they don't have any kind of defense you cant attack. because the game doesn't give you the right matches. . . and the opponent ALWAYS gets 2 - 5 x combos. Its a good game don't give me wrong. great visuals, great music, and great gameplay. Just VERY unbalanced.

Come on, the last boss wasnt that hard, i beat him with all 3 characters in two or three attempts! Dont make this game any easier please. Its a pity poeple dont respect difficulty any more. And I hate games which are nothing but easy as shit. I like this one a lot, though. Keep up the good work!

everyone's talking about how the squid is beatable by focusing on countering and defence, but what they fail to realize is you need a fair amount of luck to be able to match those tiles in the first place. and you can either defend or counter each turn, not both. unless you get lucky and match x 2 or get an extra turn and then match the other. if you focus just on counter you'll die in a few hits.

I don't see what's so hard about the squid, neither what you are complaining about. I actually beat the squid in 1 go, 340 health left.
But then again, I had a strategy.
here's the strategy: Squid has better attacks than you, so what do you do ? fight fire with fire! Match as many shields and counterattacks as you can.
I had a whiplash, and I saw it was next to a rage tile. What do I do? i had matched a shield tile earlier which is still in effect and decided to match counterattack. He uses the whiplash on the rage tile, attacks me with rage attack, I get o damage (shield maxed out) I attack him back for 360 damage (counterattack at 180%).
So maybe try to defend yourself ?

Is it really that hard to win? I beat the boss on my first try. Now I have to try again to see if I just got really lucky.

While I understand there is a significant amount of strategy that goes into the game, it still seems rather luck based. Especially considering that the bosses have twice my stats.

This is a very nice twist to the old match 3 game. With so many matches to make at some points, you have to decide carefully what move to make and what your opponent might make. Only problem is that the battles can drag on for a long time if there are no attack gems to match and luck really has to be in your favor at some points. A multiplayer feature would make this game absolutely spectacular. Overall though, it's addicting as heck and a fun mix of puzzle and fighting. 4/5

In game awards are horribly messed up. I got the 1,000 gems smashed, and the 5,000 and the 50,000 gems smashed all in the 4th map I did. And I've gotten gold on the first 2 levels and haven't gotten any awards for anything. Seems to be completely random on whether I'll win a match too. Got lucky with one, ran out of energy, and couldn't get any. So rage and counter attacks help a lot. 4/5

Small bug: with the third (bear) opponent - I got him to 0, but he didn't die, he needed one more hit. Perhaps because I got something like 5-combo + bonus round.

I echo LordBucket's comment. Great game, but I've spent nearly three hours trying to beat the boss with all my upgrades maxed out. I've lost interest and won't play anymore... pretty much a waste of time at this point. If that could be balanced out a little more, it would be a great game.

I had 372% counter and 97% defense. The opponent has a chance to do a 4magic and 3 attack. I would have obliterated him, but no, he took a 3 heal. D:

:P A little tip. If you have a rainbow vortex, use it on a red tile if you have one. xD You will most likely get full rage out of an empty guage. :P
