I appreciate the concept, but this implementation is repetitive. There isn't really much variety or depth, not even with the upgrades. Perhaps it was an engaging RNG exercise on the back end, but the user experience isn't very rewarding. Nice starting point for something deeper, maybe.

ok . something new to everyone i thnk , all you have to do to advance , for me was 8 discovery , i had my first clover , then nothing wanted to "mutate" ... and i went a bit back and discovered 90%+ of tier 1through 8 . and then i started discovering tier 8 stuff

I got to tier 5 at which point colour blindness made it impossible to tell orange from red on some of the panels and therefore breeding up virtually impossible

It is official: I am now bored with this game. The research situation sucks big time. The balance is completely screwed.

I think I sell my clovers to the guy who makes lucky charms, it is the only possible reason I can get this much money.

is there a way to say that the save button was clicked?
I spam click it like three times because i'm not sure if it saved.

Furthermore as an expansion of the breed-mutate advancement system you add a secondary task, per say alchemy which maybe requires skill and a bit of luck to provide advantage, and perhaps even is required to advance and discover the clover tiers, as well as provide theory to achieve them. In essence, make this game a little less straight forward and advance from there. This has a lot of potential. (Furthermore I rated with all five stars because I'd like to see this game get out there even more than it already is)

So far as science is concerned, pick and back build yeesh. Quit harping on him. So far as I'm concerned this is one of the most unique idle games i've seen in a long, long time. I just want to say that the opportunity to own prestiege currency and buy more upgrades would open this up a lot. Per say that upon prestiege you may accrew an additional clover leaf to a maximum of seven as a start to a prestiege system. Or, instead of buying science with gold as people are begging provide to them an upgrade perhaps titled "Intense Examining" Increases science per clover type in the museum. (Of course make it incredibly expensive because players at first don't need excessive science)

This is a good model for how to ruin a potentially good game. Release a beta version, then be real slow with a follow-up. I probably won't check back in, which is too bad, because I think this game has a lot of potential. It just has a lot of competition too.

Does binary addition have anything to do with unlocking the combinations, or are they random and it was just a cool way to represent the collection?

What sucks most, though, is there is no slot on the museum for the all grey clover. It seems to me like it's very much unfinished.
I want my money back.

So... does anything come after 100% full museum and all solid grey clovers? I mean, there are upgrades I haven't been able to afford yet, and may never at the limited rate of income in this game...
Is it actually worth sitting staring at the screen for the next 17 weeks to see if the next upgrade makes something happen?

Stuck getting started on tier 8 right now. All I see are solid cyan clovers. All previous tiers are full in the museum. Next science upgrades are insanely expensive. Kind of hit a block here now where I can't do sh!t.

It would be great to be able to pause a breeder. I want to adjust some of them but don't want to lose the clovers I have.

Cute game, but frustrating end.
I didn't realize the importance of filling in all the exemplars in the museum when I first started, but it was easy enough to go back and fill those in.
It was fun up to the start of Tier 9. Now I've got a full museum up to the purple flower that starts Tier 9 -- and moving forward will require running the game in the background for 7.5 hours.
That's silly -- if it was going to be an idle game, so that I could come back the next day and fill in the last level, that would be one thing. But it doesn't advance while I'm away.

Going on day 2 of a full museum waiting on the 5 leaf clover. Good game but I think I'm done. I'm okay with not having "beat" it if the only way to end it is to stare at tier 9 clovers ticking over and over for days.

@ezuli yes, it literally says so in the 0.3.0 update notes. "Breeding higher tier clover with lower tier will now produce a random clover of the lower tier"
