Great game, but after the first time I died, I reloaded my most only save (made only moments before death) and had no items or money. Everything lost...slight bug

More specifically, I would shoot them down to 0 health, and they wouldn't disappear, but would instead keep on shooting me.

How about speed reduction and fuel consumption increase depending on cargo load.
And please add auto docking\warping on stations\gates, auto mining on asteroids and auto attack on pirates when you fly to these objects on autopilot (everyone flies on autopilot, camera isn't that great to provide convenient manual flight experience).

very nice game...but...it kicked me out of full screen to windowed size from alone and when i returned to full screen unity player plugin was hanging. also then my savegame was gone.
and i am voting for autosave (every 5 mins for example).

There should be some stations overview system so I know where are better prices to sell ore and where to buy goods and where to sell them. Currently trading system is rudimentary.
ive always been a fan of the oldschool notebook and pencil... but perhaps some kind of sheet that grabs info from places you have visited. so at least you have to go there to grab their prices.

Working on the second star system. Really like the game so far. Feels very polished and well thought out, and I can already see how you progress through tiers of ships and can start doing "jobs" later on. Very impressive detail and scope for a browser game. Nice work!

Hey,
Ive been to the next six systems, and except for the first basic system, the rest do not seem to stock any missiles or projectiles.
Its like a base that makes guns without producing or stocking any bullets with which to use them, utterly pointless and extremely idiotic.
I don't know if this is a bug in the game, or intentional. The stations and factories make these massive space guns and rocket launchers without the ammo to actually use them.
So either start making the stations stock the ammo, or take out all the weapons except for the beam weapons.
Also, it seems that the light energy/fuel pods (utilities) seem to work fine, but the huge energy/fuel pods (utilities) do not work at all. An extremely money waster.
Please can you fix these items, because this game is brilliant. I want to keep playing, but the utilities and ammo aspects ruin a vast tract of the gameplay.

Really enjoyable game. I was plugging along having a lot of fun, until I encountered a game breaking bug. I was in the 10th system, kolfel, beat the pirate officer yay! Got the achievement for beating 10 pirate bosses, then a second achievement popped up, that I had beaten ALL the pirate officers. When I looked in the achievements tab, it had given me the achievement for beating the gatekeeper. That's annoying in and of itself but the worst was after I jumped to the 11th system, sivaj. As per usual, upon arriving I went about business cleaning up the pirates..... only to find that bringing them to 0 health did nothing. Tried another shit, different class, same story. Brought to 0 health and nothing. They also started to follow me around the map no matter how far away I was. I'm sure the getting the achievement coincides with the invincible stalking pirates. Aside from this crazy glitch, great game. I was having a lot of fun until that hit me.

In regards to my last comment, this bug seems to work with a good amount of equipment. Some it doesn't seem to work with, but most of the beginner gear it does. Selling any large amount of ore you collect, and then scrap junk equip, it will continue to give you the total payout amount again and again, turning 500 credit purchases into well over 10,000 each in scrap pay.

Game breaking bug - When you scrap the first engine, it pays out the scrap cost and the total amount of payout. I sold my materials for about a thousand, and then the engine, and it paid me what I sold in materials out again when I scrapped the engine. Easily can stack buying engines and selling materials and get millions in profit.

good start, maybe add other ai players besides pirates, as well as makeing the starter ships cheaper so you dont have to farm for 3 hours to get to a frigate, maybe a multi player in the furture. on a another note, what program did you use to make this im starting my own game and would love a few pointers.
this is my first unity game... i was scared of unity at first, being a hardcore flash guy for 10 years. but unity grew on me, the more i understood it, the more i liked it. feel free to PM anytime, would be glad to help.

How about a battle mode? When at least one enemy is within 100km, fight music starts up, your weapons automatically turn on, and the top-right menu changes to a battle command menu.
i was thinking auto target would cover this . it would auto target everything you currently have listed or band boxed. then ship that attack you are auto listed, so with auto target on, any hostile would become targeted and attacked.

can we get listed objects to be in distance order? so we can go to closest asteroid? also can there be auto fuel/repair with money toggle-able? it's a forgettable action at bases.

I was able to destroy a boss that was too tough for me, by hanging around a station, fighting until my shields were nearly depleted, and popping inside to recharge my shields. Rinse and repeat. Perhaps to prevent this sort of behavior, you should make it so that, if a boss is down to 50% HP, and you run into a station, the boss flees. The boss will not count as defeated, and pirates will still respawn in the sector; you'll have to kill them all to lure him out again.

(meant to add this to my first post) BTW i rated it 4/5, would be nice to be able to see the turrets/cannons rather then just a beam come out of the ship but so far this is the best game on kongregate, great job (and you just put it up today, so thats a big accomplishment) currently flying a battleship and it looks pretty good, kinda looks too compact but thats just me :P
i really wanted to do that... but this is my first unity game and i didn't want to get hung up on this project for too long. i had to be creative with the textures and and model sizes. you may notice everything is made up of the same parts :) anyway, thanx for playing :) check back for updates , i promise there will be many.

Imediately went to my Favorites and Playlist. Tutorial was a LITTLE long, but not as bad as a lot of other games on here. Job very well done.

Mandatory sllloooooooowwwwwww tutorial is seriously detracting from my desire to keep playing. Yes, I can figure out that "market" opens the market and so forth. You don't need to hold our hands this much, and the text scrolling is obnoxious. Even trying to quickly spam click "continue" it still takes 10 seconds at a time of clicking just to get through it all. Nobody likes watching letters tick by.

Oww... I don't know what happened, but when I left the station for the first time I was so close to it that I was taking hull damage every time the autopilot tried to turn me instead of actually turning. I also took a lot of unnecessary damage when the popups about my magnificent achievement in destroying a pirate sentry prevented me from shooting the second one-would it be possible to add an auto-target on whatever's hitting your ship while it's idle?

I must say; absolutely remarkable work outside of a studio. It is very rare to see this magnificence by a sole person Jace. This work is truly above any single talent, and though I have only started in a conquest in this game, it promises much more. The story is well thought out, the graphics seem that beyond any single man and the 3D world you have created is obnoxiously brilliant. I can not give better prais3e to such a masterpiece. Kudos again and again.

"Afterburner" gives a constant acceleration to the ship, even with engine off. Also, I can fly with zero fuel and purchase items (by entering the amount in the cell) for a large amount of money than I have, and receiving a negative balance.

Now some ideas:
-Autorouting for mining(when the captain is dead) like goto nearest astroid,mine as much as you can, if full go to a specific station and sell specific ore, refull fuel, start cycle again.
-say in the tutorial, that only one of each type can be installed, also what means the objective escape?
