Walkthrough: Try taking or using everything you can click on. Then start using everything in inventory on everything.
Many of the "puzzles" in the game make no sense at all, starting with the first first task to shut off the smoke. So yeah, the walkthrough is to just blindly try everything until eventually you "win".
Have you tried a different browser? Not sure why it would be stuck, but feel free to send us any details about your system/setup and we'll look into it!

Everything feels like trial and error. Is that supposed to be flavor because that's Violet's approach to life? Also, the item-failed-to-do-anything text could really at least let me know that I'm headed in the right direction. Couldn't Violet have said something like "it's too short" or similar?

The two batteries are:
1 battery on the flying robot,
1 battery in the drawer inside behind the desk.
You're welcome :)

The UX leaves much to be desired - having to drag off the screen to try an item 10 times. Very disappointed that you have to do things in "order" - i.e. an extension cord + an extension cord to connect a power source to a machine can be put together in multiple ways - except in this game. How was I to know the machine controlled the hook and that I need to get power to it? Plus, it already had power (thus the POWER BUTTON I used to "fix" it.) Transitions were way too slow, also. A great start for a first game, but lots of room for development.
Thanks for the honest and detailed feedback! We're considering all the possibilities for how to improve the UX and playability as we make progress on Episode 2! :D

Not too bad! Gameplay is occasionally a little counterintuitive, but the artwork and music are *beautiful.* If I could change just one thing, the electrical machine puzzle wouldn't kick you out every time you chose a wrong path and lit up an orange or red light. That got kind of annoying after a while.

And I'm stuck. I've unlocked the engine but I can't get it out of the shop without waking the other pirate and I'm missing parts for the broken equipment outside.
Thanks! We wanted to start small to make sure we were moving in the right direction, so we plan to make Episode 2 a fair bit larger than the first now that we've gotten such great feedback!

Wonderful game and one of the very best. The puzzle was intriguing.Loved It!! Can't wait for the next chapter (s) coming out. Two thumbs up

This game would benefit from instructions in the puzzles. Something like "match the wave lengths by turning the dials" and "adjust the direction of the power to light the green lights" at least.

I like the art of the main girl, but there's too much moon logic. I'd be okay with less puzzles, for more art and story.
Thanks for the feedback! We're definitely going to be developing the world of Anova even more, so you can expect to find more art and story both in the game and outside of it, too! :D

Enjoyed it. Nice puzzles without being too frustrating. Had to use the lightbulb a lot though to save clicking all over the image. Would be nice if it used a mouse-over highlight.

Guys, it's an infinity chip! Long ago... six chips were made by IBM with the power of all the universal forces inside them. The Microsoft Chip... frustrates users with unending paper clip messages asking if they need help, the Apple chip... makes everything you buy overpriced and secretly you support child slavery, the Dell chip... that chip that's really old and most people don't know what it is, the HP chip... it's shit but you really need to get through college, the Lenova chip... it's quite reasonable priced and decent... and the Linux Chip... basically what freedom tastes like.
When all six chips come together... they grant the user unlimited processing speed... which will all likely be used towards porn.
The Blavengers... just a bunch of nerds who rule the world.

there are zero instructions when playing the mini games i I got through them by either hitting solve or rapidly clicking the entire screen multiple times.

The bad part: pixel-hunting. I didn't know the knife was interactive until I read a walkthrough. Consider giving player feedback on mouse-over.

I enjoyed chapter one, but had a bit of trouble with the code to the safe. I understand that you're supposed to use a tune to help solve it, but I'm hard of hearing, so I can't rely on just audio clue alone. I eventually brute-forced my way through it, but man, it was a pain.

I feel like there is too much focus on art. To be fair it is basically the best looking game on this site, but I'd rather have a longer game with more sensible puzzles. Still enjoyed it,but it is definitely way too short.
Thanks for the feedback! We're doing our best to make Episode 2 better, longer, and still just as beautiful as the first! (if not maybe a little bit more!) :D

If the buttons aren't being clicked for you, it's because the input is being taken from the center of the cursor instead of the cursor's tip.
Change the cursor in the menu to resolve it.

Everything is perfect, but one thing. There's got to be a way so you don't have to re-click so many times on the pointer, that got very old fast, otherwise, excellent!

Solid point-and-click action, except for the tad bit excess of overcrowding light bulb hint icons. Absolutely loved the music, by the way. I just left it on the episode selection screen in the back. :P

Beautifully done. The graphics were amazing, and the spelling was great (which was really appreciated!!)! :)
Accessibility wise: Very difficult to select and hold items when Disabled, and especially so on a Laptop - could do with 'Click to Hold/Release' or similar. Adding a Full-screen option would also be fantastic.
4/5 for now... - probably deserves more, but I'm leaving room for improvement - and can't wait to see it! Well done MontiGames!
Thanks so much for the kind words and the helpful feedback! We're considering everything, but constructive feedback like yours really helps us hone down on what's most important! :D

Great atmosphere, great music, amazing drawings! Might just be me, but I was able to instantly identify with the character and ended up clicking on everything to hear what she had to say. Wish there was a long version I could buy.

PART 3 (10) exit shop through porthole. (11) use screwdriver n machine (right side of screen), solve puzzle (arrow around power button should point down-right, big circle should be spun so part that starts on top ends up on the left, top dial points left and down, bottom dial points up and right; pushing power button should now light both green lights). (12) use long cable on outlet (near crane), grab zet that falls out of the guy's pocket, enter shop through door. (13) put zet in tip jar, use screwdriver on left panel under the desk, grab ball. (14) STEAL THE ENGINE, YOU'RE DONE, WAHAHAHAHAHAHA

PART 2. (1) grab fish, dip it in the green goop, drop it in the bucket. (2) grab button on top of the blue box (under wanted poster), grab battery from flying robot, grab dial near the spring (lower right corner). (3) climb in shop through porthole. (4) try to take engine. (5) grab red cable, repeatedly click the machine on the desk, grab blue cable, combine red and blue in inventory to get long cable. (6) grab part that falls on the floor near engine, grab dial on shelf (above the calendar). (7) combine batteries in inventory, give two batteries to the guy in the cage. (8) unlock cabinet (numbering buttons left to right, top to bottom as 0 through 9, code 9771610). (9) grab key, use key on cage, use new key on engine.

WALKTHROUGH: 1) open toolbox, take rag, take gear. (2) use rag on lever. (3) open electrical panel, inset cog. (4) push red button, collect green bottle. (5) give green bottle to Tink the robot. (6) take knife from wall, use it to carve the cork in your inventory, and plug the leak with the small cork. (7) solve nav puter puzzle (left dial changes signal height, right changes signal width, use levers on left to set red, green, and blue). CUTSCENE

Investigating an object should give you some clue as to how it plays into the story. For example, investigating the outlet should say something like "It looks like this outlet powers the hook" and looking at the generator should say something like "It looks like it could generate a lot of power but it has to be fixed first", applying the cork should say "Hmm. It doesn't fit. It needs to be smaller to plug this hole." Things like that.
Thanks for the feedback! We wanted to make the puzzles challenging, but we'll look at our dialog and see if there are ways to hint at a solution without giving it away. :D
