We knew it was a little bit shorter than we'd have liked, but we really wanted to get the game out and see how people responded to it - and comments like yours make us glad we did but also wish we'd done a bit more! We're doing our best to put all of our efforts into Episode 2, so stay tuned and we'll send out an update as soon as we have a firm date we can deliver it on!

This game is so beautiful! I'm looking foward for more!
You could use 1 click to take an item from your inventory and other to use it somewhere, click hold and drag can be difficult at times.

Good game... Can have better replies when doing puzzles tho like for the cork... "it's too big to fit the hole... I could find something to cut it" or whatever...anyways 5/5, good luck for future projects.

This is really pretty, but the dialogue could be clearer. For instance, when you use the full size cork on the leak, it could say something like "It won't fit" instead of "Don't get it wet".

Have to agree that the graphics are amazing, but everything else seems unintuitive (controls and gameplay) - wanted to get into it but just couldn't seem to find a rhythm or pattern to the game

Ok - i'm in the junkyard and have clicked ON everything WITH everything - twice! Even the made sure to ask for the lightbulbs inside and out to make sure I've clicked on ALL THE THINGSSS!!! What gives?? I've fixed the machine that "makes stuff" but nothing wants to go in it.

Nice, but the puzzles are bit too much pixel-bitching. The Highlight button doesn't help much when 18 out of 20 highlights are just silly phrases. I'd suggest a highlight for actual interactions.

Hey there, it was quite tricky, but it was awesome. I'm really excited for next episode(s)! When can we expect another episode to come out and will there be more than one episode? I think you could make a full game out of this, this story has quite a lot of potential!

It reminds me a lot of The Longest Journey; tedious clicking interspersed with enjoyable puzzles. Unlike that late 90s game, this one has a lovely lightbulb hint feature. Not needing to click every pixel on the screen to find the one missing item you need for your puzzle made the gameplay much more enjoyable. 5 stars for the lovely art and nostalgic gameplay.

can't wait for chapter 2! really great stylistic choices, and it took me a decent amount of time to solve the puzzles.

I have made it a bit further than drnoam but not much. I can't leave until I find the mysterious object. Pretty sure it's the robot with the bounty on it but can't find it. Pretty sure I have clicked everything that lights up with the hint button. I just have a screwdriver and can't find anything else to unscrew. Stuck now and getting frustrated clicking the same stuff over and over.
There's one more area in that room that you can use the screwdriver on! When Tink activates his O-nergy detector, it causes something in the room to shift!

i was stuck with the first key. Using on the engine it kept saying "it needs a key" and I thoght it was a bug. I think it should say something like "this key doesn't fit" or else it's a mess for the player

What is the mysterious object? a clue would be nice, can't even talk to the guy anymore wtf am I meant to do feel like I have clicked everything

It's clear that you guys put a lot of love and care into this game. Looking forward to the next episode! Another suggestion might be closing the lightbulbs of searchable areas you've already cleared (like the drawer and toolbox) so you don't waste time uselessly searching.

The game has some interesting puzzles, the story is short but good, the art is fantastic. You deserve a much higher rating. 5/5 and I cant wait for episode 2.

As good as the art is, I really didn't like the design of this point and click game. There are way too many objects on screen at once (and interacting with each one takes a good amount of time), and I feel like the puzzles were obtuse. It took me around 10-15 minutes just to complete the small tutorial.
Sorry you didn't have as enjoyable of an experience as you were hoping to have! We're always looking for ways to improve, so your feedback is very helpful and appreciated!

The artwork and story are truly amazing! I don´t think it´s too hard. I used to get frustrated by a lot of point and click adventures (although I loved them, but I had to play them with walkthrough at somepoint). This game was perfect for me. It took some tries, but I finally made the first episode. Please do some more!

It might be because I'm bad at these kinds of games, but I didn't really have much fun. I didn't like how I had to click on everything twice to use it, and I felt like I was just clicking randomly until something happened instead of solving a puzzle. I think you could implement some kind of hint system so players don't get stuck for too long. I also didn't enjoy minigames that much. Like the whistling minigame, since I had to go in the menu and turn off the music to listen the whistling, and it was just easier to guess the passcode instead of trying to fit the keyboard beeps to whistling. Plus, what about players who cannot hear the whistling? I also had to guess a lot on the circuit box minigame, but that might just be because I'm bad at it.
I think the premise of the game is intriguing, however. I like the whole dystopian steampunk thing, and I still want to find out where Violet is going next. I'll probably play the next episode when it comes out just to see where the story goes.
Thanks for trying the game out, and for sticking with it even when it got difficult! There is actually a hint system in place (the lightning bolt icon) and you can even bypass certain puzzles using it, but we've gotten a lot of great feedback on this that we're trying to keep in mind as we build Episode 2. We'll do our best to reward your patience and interest in the characters!

So I ran into an issue where I had the key, but it would not let me unlock the engine. Not sure if this is the hitbox issue people were talking about, but I just keep getting the "Pretty sure I need a key for that" message, even though I am using the key on the lock.

Great little game. Too short, but i have missed these kind of games! Looking forward to the next chapter(s). Great job!

please make it so that if I'm messing around with one object, I don't have to continually go into inventory to get the same item :)
thanks for the lightbulb, could i please have some hints too, i got stuck and m frustrated for bove sated resons
Sorry for the trouble, but thanks for commenting and letting us know! We know it takes a bit of patience at times to figure things out, but hopefully you'll find it worth the trouble to keep trying!

This is a beautiful game! Thank you so much! I'm eager for the second part. :-) As a suggestion, please enlarge the "hitbox" of the objects. Sometimes it's quite difficult to hit what feels like a single pixel. Otherwise great game!

fantastic job! great art and fun game. puzzles were sufficiently challenging to keep me busy without being frustrating. Thank you for your work. Looking forward to episode 2!

Reminds me of Deponia, but thankfully without a completely unlikeable lead character (I did not enjoy playing as the character in Deponia).
