is there always way to solve them without the coin or clicking random boxes? im stuck on the 10x10 just before the last.. prefer not using extra hints if possible.

One more suggestion: You really should be able to manually cross off the numbers you have entered. I know it does it automatically when you enter empty spaces around the filled boxes, but this doesn't help when doing multi-colored grids.

I like the concept, and am a huge fan of pi-cross, but I have a lot of trouble seeing what I am doing. The numbers are too light, the grid is too light, the shading - while a neat touch - makes the image harder to look at, and I cannot stand not being able to see the entire puzzle at one time. I know there is a zoom feature, but on the bigger puzzles it still doesn't zoom out enough.
For a puzzle that requires so much attention to detail, this game doesn't help you out at all. After doing a few puzzles, my neck hurts, my eyes hurt, my back hurts... And I'm not THAT old. :-)

Catchy tune, nice game. The puzzles all end up the same, and you can do some educated guessing near the ending though.

Picross is just the name Nintendo gave it's nonogram game. Why is everyone complaining about the grid? It's only really a problem on the last four Grand Master puzzles. Everything up to 25x25 fits fine if you use the zoom.

Journeyman puzzle number 4 seems to be broken. I am getting penalties even though when using the "helper" it fills the tiles in just like I do. And I am using the correct color. Dunno if this has already been said, but did not want to read all the comments

bug... can't fill in lower right hand corner square on grandmaster level 9... good game, though... you could make the number overlays contrast more with the filled-in squares.

Could you make the contrast between the highlighted and dulled-out (completed clues) a little...more? And the line highlight for which row or column your cursor is in? Just for the sake of my eyes.

An interesting twist on an established game, but making the playing field large enough to see the entire grid of 20x20 or 25x25 instead of the click and drag to view the rest of it would greatly improve gameplay at the Master and Grandmaster difficulties.

haha I love how stupid people post things like "it keeps correcting me *whinewhinewhine" before they check the OPTIONS (there are only 3 in there) and fix the problem for themselves.... great game! 4/5

Great Picross version, the different colors really add to the puzzles.
Also, to all the idiots complaining about the auto-correction: YOU CAN TURN IT OFF IN THE OPTIONS!

hate the way the higher level puzzles don't fit on the screen. also that it auto corrects you. let me get the end of the puzzle and figure out my mistakes later.

When you change colors, it should change the color of the whole pencil, not just a small band. Way too discreet, I've made countless mistakes because I didn't notice I had the wrong color...

Fun, but i don't like how it punishes you if you click in the wrong spot, the whole point of the puzzle is to experiment and stuff, plus correcting it makes it way too easy because you can just color :/

its fun but only for the first group of puzzles because the next groups require hit and miss strategy. 3/5 because some puzzles are impossible to beat without guessing.

at 20x20 it takes forever because you can't see all the numbers. PLZ fix that by decreasing the borders to increase box space

While the puzzles themselves are fun, the "You're an idiots, here's 5 minutes added to your time, because it would've obviously taken you 5 minutes to decide that was the wrong color" aspect really hurts it -2, 2/5
