@nanostronghold - I'm well into the 20x20 puzzles in free mode and I haven't yet had to do guesswork. At worst, on a couple puzzles, I had to use the golden coin to get going.

I'm sorry but how the hell are you even supposed to work out the bigger ones at all without guesswork. I had a 15X15 grid with two colours and only one row had any squares that defenately had a certain colour in them and that was the one row that had an 8 in them. all the rest didn't have big enough totals that you could be sure of any squares colour for sure. meaning that I have to now guess. This is supposed to be a frigging puzzle game not a fekking lucky dip. Think puzzles through before you just chuck them into the darn game.

None of the puzzles involve guesswork, but some of the later ones do involve some more advanced picross techniques.. I'd recommend turning off the supervised mode for the more advanced ones.. allows you to use the "what if?" option, which is a fantastic option for picross.. really wish they would make the colors easier to see at zoomed out levels, though. :(

Not sure about the folks comparing this to Picross... The Picross games I have played are monochromatic; am I missing something?

Very good version of a picross-style game. Plus this version has a couple improvements to the interface that I like. i.e. No risk of slipping into adjacent columns when clicking and dragging. Also, the time penalty for errors is better than a "game over" message after making five mistakes (as would happen in armor picross).

Really good. Things keeping it from a 5: game screen too small in the larger puzzles, clues too faint and hard to read especially when sitting on top of squares in big puzzles, some puzzles have a bit of guessing without logic.

Great game, but PLEASE pick colors with more contrast!! Trying to see the gray and yellow on that background is really, really hard on the eyes, especially on the bigger puzzles when you have to zoom out.

I totally like this game, played it for quite a while now. Only negative thing i found so far, is that the completed light grey numbers cant be seen that great.

It's okay, but the interface needs some work. The disappearing/reappearing clues are annoying, and some of the colors are quite difficult to distinguish.

this seems more like a how to draw stuff in pixels game
but still godd 4/5 because it was pretty boring after a while
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i enjoyed it thouroughly, very fun if u dont cheat. 5/5 the only problem was that the numbers are hard to see on the larger maps

i love the japaneese picture puzzles, and i love the way you add more colors (have never seen it before) but i hate the bigger puzzels, how the numbers get on squares you fill in, and the larger where you need to move to see all the pic. maybe a fullscreen option? i also like the free mode, i get so frustrated when i press a color instead of a X when i know it is X.

The clues displaying seems a little awkward. I see the purpose in their displaying on the playing field -- if you're zoomed in and not on the edge of the field, still having the clues there can help. But they get really hard to see when they're over a filled-in space.

Like tha game, really like. Don't know why, but just like. Like glowing something inside, when played. Maybe the music, maybe I dont slept many hours, or both, but I loved it, thx for that.

I REALLY like the twist on the standard with multiple colors, however, the disappearing and reappearing clues need to be fixed, I've just spent about a half hour trying to fix a puzzle I messed up because I though I had all the clues filled only to find out later that more appeared when I moused over it after having 75% of the puzzle done. Plus, the clues showing up over the areas that are filled/to be filled gets REALLY confusing.

The medal times seem rather unrealistic. (Naturally, I reached that conclusion before seeing the update mentioning the update times at all.)

Love the colors, a new twist on an oldie but goodie. Absolutely hate the fact that the clue numbers aren't displayed completely outside the work area. Very difficult to see the numbers if the end portion of the row or column is already painted. Also hard to tell between purple and black, especially if either is greyed out.

Very cool, but I dislike the ability to redo the puzzle a second time and have that time count -- consider revising that! 4/5 until then.

One problem. No matter what I do to the settings on my screen, the light grey is still REALLY REALLY hard to read. Needs a colourblind mode, that would solve the problem (not that I am colourblind, but still)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Puttanesca, the greying out just shows that the row is filled or that you used the correct amount of tiles and clicked X around it. Otherwise it could be used in the means of "cheating"

This game is totally awesome! Simple to learn but challenging. I finally finished all the puzzles (well, the ones available here on Kongregate anyways). My only gripe is that you eventually run out of room for the whole board, and I don't like having to drag it around. The 50x50 one was especially bothersome for this. An extra zoom level would be awesome - or maybe shrink the border (interface) around the board. Regardless, this is a well deserved 5/5.

For those who like to solve puzzles and math problems. This is the game for you.
For all other who can't stand it and just click to the end will hate it. Must say though it's very well done except that Camera movement could be a bit better. It's also a bit to hard for me.

Great game, I love these kind of puzzles, although in some levels take some random guessing to be solved
5/5, favorited
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i found this game to be very easy. All you have to do is click every tile then when the picture is done go back into it and click the tiles that lit up before to get the best times

There's a reason there's a free mode where you assemble a puzzle that you can discard.
You guys who are complaining must never have done these kinds of puzzles before.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This is a fail, you can't use logic on the bigger puzzles, you need to include larger numbers for logic to be used without a degree of guessing. 2/5 for effort.

This is just like armor picross... but theres a MAJOR glitch, in raptor youngling when you put in the red one it adds a minute for no reason
