I don't see why people complain about the challange. Simply make the computer a custom deck with no monsters, and then lots of monster buffs and heals. They won't be able to use anything and you'll win automatically.

yes combine does work but there are only 6 monsters with symbols so only 3 combinations possible cards must be in hand to combine

i attacked a vampire with a dragon and sword and the dragon took 3 dmg, and its attack was 7 more than the vampires defense

Virtually no strategy involved. The computer almost always seems to deal more damage and draw the best cards. A good attempt, but desperately in need of revision.

So I can't help but notice that if you set your character to be the robot it flips between all of the available characters. Not vital to gameplay, just weird.

I don't really like to talk shit about peoples games / work, but when Kongregate force us to play this pile of crap to enter in the draw, well then my opinions come out.
Theres no real strategy in this game, it depends way too much on luck with little if any skill involved, crap gameplay, no sound, pathetic graphics and a clearly biased random number game. I could have more fun with a dice.

Congratulations! You've completed the task Win 3 games in a row. You're on your way to completing the Monster Mash Challenge.
Also got achievement. No real skill needed in this game

This game is just a simple bit of random numbers with effects in the mix. MS Paint variety graphics, and it's basically just luck. Also,it seems the enemy always gets a card you have yet to even seen in your deck. 3/5

If all you kiddies would just stop bit**ing around... Random numbers have been used to solve battles in games for decades. Do you even know games like "Risk"?
If you don't like it, make something better yourself or just don't play it.

I like the system, but it has flaws...
a dragon shouldn't lose to a spider....
Matbe change the number generator around so it has a smaller range. Like 7-9 instead of 0-9...
Just a thought

Congratulations! You've just completed the Monster Mash Challenge! You have earned a ticket to enter in our sweepstakes!
1/5 to bad there nothing lower.

No sound, primitive graphics, poor gameplay that becomes even poorer with ridiculous dice rolls (ever seen a cursed leprechaun slay a defensively-buffed hydra?)... One of my lowest ratings on Kongregate, unfortunately.
Graphics: 1/5
Sound: 0/5
Gaming Fun: 2/5
Overall: 1/5

I really don't like doing this, but in my opinion this is by far the worst game ever made. Given a choice between old school pong and this I would probably choose old school pong, at least it has something nice to look at.

Finally got combine to work used a dragon rider and twice in a row I loss a 12 vs 2, 2 to 1, total bs. Most I've posted on a game too bad it's been this one.

hydra with + attack vs enemy archer. It was 9 vs 2, and it took me 3 rounds to kill the archer because somehow he kept either tying or getting 2 to 1, near impossible since the hydra gets 2 attacks per round. So it took me 6 hits to kill the archer even though it said 9 vs 2 every time.

I am really confused. Do attack/armor values have no bearing on the game? It seems like it's all up to die rolls. My 2/1 rat just pwned a 6/5 robot. This game could have been good if it made sense.

they always use this kind of games for chalenges, so that most people dont play them at all. oh well... who needs a nintendo anyway :P
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
why do you all hate this game?
its good and,in my humble opinion, better than myhteria, which emphasizes more on fancy graphics and thus giving hell for us with slower cpus
and it isnt about luck, its about planning, unless you use auto deck configurations
and all card games are luck factored, on the cards that you will get anyway

I coulda sworn the last time I played this that the computer wasn't given a bleeding edge over the player. I declare shinanigans!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
what a frustrating game. there are tactics, but they are subtle and don't weigh in as much as blind luck. jeeze zilch has more strategy than this
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Whom ever made this game needs to go learn how to actually generate random numbers if hes going to have them play a part in combat. 8 ZEROS in a row for me is bull...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game was boring-enough when I endured it for the badge... but to manage 3 wins in a row and not get the boxed checked off for the challenge...?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
one "glitch" - the computer stole one of my dudes with psychic, attacked me with it, then gave it a +2 defense... so I got it back with a +2 defense. that was nice and helpful!
