Im confused why people complain about idle games being too simplistic, and then the minute a decent one comes out with a bit of complexity they complain that its too complex to play.

UI is really complex. I know there's a lot going on there, but I think shop/inventory screen could be optimized, maybe some item filters could work too. Sending items to shop should also be made easier, maybe a single button next to item that instantly sends all items to store (keeping the current system as a way to fine tune the amount if needed.). Auto sell feature could maybe have a section where I could sell what to sell, because I find it impossible currently to have like smelter stockpiling bars of metal I am not currently using (they get instasold).
Thanks for your comment.
If you want to avoid the Merchant selling items in your storage (ex : to stockpile bars of metal). You can turn the "Storage Protection" option to ON.
I'm currently working on Simplifying item management. Stay tuned for future updates.

headache after 10min... why making things so complex ? even an oldschool topbar menu with all upgrades, workers and shortcuts would be more intuitive...

It doesn't seem like other people are having this problem but i keep getting an Error when launching Unity, but i don't for other games that use unity.

having to manually send armor to the shop is incredibly annoying... Especially when the first game did that for you. After playing for about half an hour it seems like the old one is the second version and this is the first.... The old UI had a nice minimalistic feel and this one is such a pain to move through to view all the various stats needed to balance everything. All in all I would rather play the old one...

take everything good from Idle Blacksmith 1 away and replace it with that layout.... THIS is how you destroy a good game :/

Ugly and unintuitive.
Requires 100's clicks to select window (which you usually don't want to).
You should make it just like 1st Idle BS - everything on single screen.

I would love to continue playing this, but the UI is atrocious. Half the time I'm upgrading the wrong thing, the other half of the time I'm clicking furiously to try to get to the screen I want before I end up with 10,000 iron ore instead of the ore I want.

Offline gains make no sense at all. In 9+ hours it only generated 2b (storage protection is off) . 5 minutes of letting it sit open in the browser generate a lot more than that.

I am a little torn. while i do miss the significantly more simple to navigate UI of the previouse game, I do think this new one adds more weight to the game as a whole. would definitely help to have something like a drop down menu to select items, rather than arrows as some have said. would also prefer not to have it pop up with items in the inventory that are being crafted yet do not have any in stock, perhaps add the currently selected item and rate above the individual worker buttons at the bottom? overall I will give this a 5* as i know i will be spending many hours over many days playing this thing into the ground :) i had almost given up hope of seeing this, and look forward to the updates!

Why in the name of ... do you have an export/import option if it doesn't work ? I'm not starting all over again. Thanks for the game.

The save game system doesn't seem to be working in Firefox. If you refresh the window, the game starts from scratch. It also won't allow you to Import the backup file stating "Importation didn't work - Be sure you copied every single character from your backup file...

Played it for several hours then when I reloaded it, no save game. Damn, 40 quests down the drain. :-( Can I be bothered trying again????
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I played the shit out of the first one, but this is barely any different. Why should I invest time in the same game again?

The Design so failed compare to the first version. Well, im not that far in the game, but so far i already hate to have to change panel each time i want to do something. If i remember well, pretty sure everything in the first version was in the main window. Well nice try but so far, for me, its a downgrade from the first version,

game it literally retarded, so i send a certain amount of ores to the shop well say iron, i send 40 of them and guess what? i get no money, fix the fuqing game and maybe ill play it.

I loved Idle Blacksmith 1. But the UI here I am not liking. Seems very confusing with the shop/storage. Switching between items/screens just seems a bit much, or a bit of a pain
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I ended up getting a lot of zero's instead of the actual amount of an Item I had which became confusing and it was also very frustrating switching collection/crafting and having to click my way up or down the types and having it auto gather/craft as I was doing it filling my inventory with junk.
The Merchant will sell the most valuable item in the storage if there is nothing in the shop.
That way, you don't need to manually send each items to the shop.
You can turn the "Storage Protection Option" On if you don't want him to sell storage items.

Add an option to chose an item to produce directly. Switching left-right is annoying for quests. Add drop-down lists for all the production types?
Thanks for your suggestion.
When the quest window is open, you can now click on any item required to automatically set your workers to produce that item.
Also, you can Ctrl+Click on the arrows of the Blacksmith to directly go to the next metal.

When youre selling or sending items to shop and there are 0 items left in current stack, when you click right, you move +2 items. (seems that element get's removed from list that breaks iterating). Better move to next item automatically on stack depleting.

No music, no sound effects. Mining, Forging, Creating, Selling stuff is a little bit hard to understand in the beginning and seems really complex. And that is the bummer for me to "not play that game" again, sorry.

I'd prefer to have a button by each item type to send it to shop instead of randomly clicking left right without knowing what those left-right items are
