Remember: badges were made considering difficulty, not length. Some badge descriptions also say that it's “ENDURANCE BADGE – this is more time consuming than it is difficult”. Even though I find these games to be a neat thing to immerse into, I have to agree that long badge games should not be BotD. That one aspect is what I guess I can agree with in the MC series. This is progress to the end of the game. https://justpaste.it/8qbl4 (I'd post it here, but it's seven pages of non-spaced text O.O) Highlight/copy it there, here click "Import saved game", then paste it into the box and click "load saved game". You should be at a gathering of people outside in an open area with a tall statue. Click the stairs in the front of the screen to start the end. You should just have to click 8 or 9 times with a couple obvious choices, like "Set off". If posting this is a problem to the Kong staff, PM me and I'll delete it.

The puzzle with the green and red pieces was ridiculous. Did not know "give up" was an option until I read the comments. Even with hints in the comments, I still don't know what I was supposed to do

"you hate it so don't play" But I've sunk three hours into this garbage and want the stupid bricks. I will just find more ways to downvote the game.

OMFG the slow game broke! When helping the forest people, I finished the quests, the big tree came in, talked, left, and nothing changed. I cannot progress they keep asking for a leaf and telling me I'm stupid for bringing them a leaf.

I'm stuck trying to get Olwen to go to Alerig after Enora "Cheated" on him.
All the walkthroughs and such I've seen describe a very different game than this.... Plus the description is different.

Nitrinoxus, VasantJ tried breaking long games up into several games/chapters for some, and we all see how that that goes. I'm guessing this developer would be “at the same table" if they tried that, given that you're doing only clicking through dialog with no moving around. I can just see the comments now if these games were split into smaller pieces, making them appear more often, in a small pool of non-Flash games to choose from: "OMG! No more trader of trash/trash of stories!" "These are glorified cutscenes; how is reading a game?" Even worse with this one compared to other ToS games, with at least one puzzle requiring some fair brain work. This is a good game/series that gained some good popularity and is deserving of it, but it's one of those text heavy ones, and for those who just come for badges (of which they always expect to be quick and easy), it's going to become a "bad game", through solely their own judgment, half of which isn't even based on the game itself.

Ye *gods* is this game a long one. Every time I thought it was reaching an end point, a break between chapters, it just kept going -- I appreciate the artistry that went into this game and can see the passion in its creation, but I can't help but wonder if this one could've been broken up into several games, if only to pace the narrative out a bit more.
(I do have to give points for the transcribed accents that Red and Scraggy have -- I've heard that kind of exceptionally thick Cockney dialect only a few times, but I could practically hear them speaking as I read. I'm a bit disappointed about how things went with Scath, though: it felt like there was an angle to work regarding overcoming prejudice and defying the labels others put on you that I could really relate to, but then he went and turned into exactly the scoundrel everyone prejudged him to be. A missed opportunity, but ah well, it's not my story to craft -- I'll just keep that narrative nugget for my own use.)

Alchemy Spoiler: The symbols have curved lines surrounding them, (1-3 lines is the number you need). To get the drug you multiply the symbols curved line number by the curved line number that surrounds its "doubled" symbol just inside of it on the instructions. To get the explosive vial you instead have switch the math and add those numbers to the symbols mirror image. (Example: If {=3 and }=6 for the correct formula, you need to have {=6. and }=3 to make the explosive formula.).
I want to give my respect to the game makers for fantastic art, storyline, and challenges.

Thank you soooo much for your piece of art you shared with us! I LOVED it! The grafics, THE MUSIC <3, just wow! I struggled a lot with some (not all) of the minigames, but anyway: thank you sooo much for sharing this with us for free!

@Naud1234 Totally agree with both your comments. I don't need the BOTD, already got the shiny for this week, so I'm going to favorite this game for when I don't have to rush it.

This game took me 2 hours to beat with skipping all text and using a walkthrough for some parts and also with giving up on most puzzles. It takes 3-5 hours to fully play it like it's intended. For a medium badge.

There's a lot of dialogue, but the puzzles aren't necessary to beat. You can choose the give up option if you just want the badge.

I want to play the game at my own pace instead of rushing to finish it to get the BOTD. It feels more like a chore if I'm racing against the clock without being able to enjoy it. And unlike the Medieval Chronicles games, this game doesn't have an easy walkthrough. It's much better though. Much better art than those basic RPG Maker games.

There's no written walkthrough available on the entire internet. Only a 5 hour YouTube video. Do you expect us to play this game for 5 hours for a medium badge? I mean, It's a nice game, but BOTDs are supposed to not take hours because they are a little daily challenge. After getting the BOTD I often keep playing longer to get other badges, but sometimes I don't have that much time and I should still be able to get it in like an hour.

The first game took over 3 hours to complete and was also a medium badge. How long does this one take? Kongregate is weird. Sometimes a medium badge can be earned in 5-10 minutes and other times it takes 3 hours.
