...this....this is made of epic fail. It's chrono trigger, but everything is messed up terribly. BTW, how do I select menu items and interact with parts of the world? Oh, right, an unlisted control THE F-CKING SPACE BAR!
Gnaaah... I can't play this any more.

I have once played this game on newgrounds and i beleve this is stolen. But if it's not than you should really try to improve.

Um... You should have just uploaded the original Chrono Trigger. This is just feces, excrement, and a lot of other terms that might offend people. 1/5

I can't say for a fact that this game was stolen, but I DO know it was originally created at least 3 years ago and posted on Newgrounds by a user with the name Nashkel. The age listed was 20 for that user, this user has an age of 28. And as far as I can tell, nothing new has been made by Nashkel for 3 years.
There is no proof that this is stolen. All I'm saying is that it's rather strange that it's suddenly being posted now with a very new account with the name misspelled.

ok so let me get this straight...
you didn't make the graphics, or the music, or the story concept... you took a popular game's story concept, picked a popular character out of it, stated things already stated in the original game... and then put a shell of a really terrible RPG around it and called it yours. Wait not only did you call it yours, you also claimed it to be "RPG to the max" which I can only assume means "RPG to the maximum laziness".
FAIL.
I'm only so harsh because of your inability to have original ideas.
If you had taken the concept of a fan sequel to the game, and done something worth-while with it, I might have been less critical. But considering it's not your content and you still can't get it right... well that's just lame.

I can't say that this is a good game...putting items of one of the most beautiful game ever made is not enough to do a good job.
Not intersting story and nonsense final monster...

Anyone else notice that the Member name and the creator name are different? Not much, but Naskel v. Nashkel. And yes, there is a copyright issue. Just putting the original copyright on the front page is not going to get you anywhere.

Really don't want to be the one to burst your bubble, being a fan of Chrono Trigger and all, but you may want to look into Copyright issues, especially as posting a game on this site can earn you money. Name, graphics, music, etc. are all proteced. Not that bad of an execution though, but not exactly legal either.

Senretsu, it's a sequel, it takes place 20 years after Chrono Trigger, this is well known fact, not sure where you got your's. If you play Chrono Cross, they explain well into the game what happened between the 20 years and why their world (in Cross) is in the current state.

Very interesting concept. I like how the graphics are and how nostalgic they are. More work can be done on hints, instructions and tutorials to guide players early on, but the game has so much potential. Hope you work on it!

loved chrono trigger so this brings backs some memories... i would've liked a saved function so not make the player go aaaalllll the way back to the beginning... nice game though 4/5

I've seen some bad comments here, but I think your game is really good. Perhaps because games like Chrono Trigger and the Final Fantasy series have a special place in my heart :) Some things are flawed of course, but don't let it get you down. The overall background music with the Kingdom of Zeal theme is really good and I like the concept of a sidestory with Magus. This really brings back fond memories for me :) 5/5

It's spelled "Chronicle".
So the menus give you no explanation or information whatsoever, the storyline is incoherent even if it's meant to be throwing you into the deep end as an opening, and I've been killed by a boss battle I had no reason to expect, no way to prepare for, and no means of saving before. Not to mention a battle system that forces you to perform constant mental arithmetic when Japanese RPGs learned how to give simple and elegant damage readouts about 20 years ago. The graphics are good in an old-school way, but that's about all I can say for this game.
Maybe it makes more sense to people who have played Chrono Trigger, but as a standalone Flash game this is a failure. Look to the Mardek series for an example of how to make user-friendly menus and combat and keep the player engaged with the story through calculated exposition.

To correct Vlyke, Chrono Chross isn't so much the sequel to Chrono Trigger, as much as it is an alternate game with the same basic principles. Sort of like FFIV and FFVI. But either way, they're fun games. This game would have to be AMAZING to live up to the Chrono name and since it's a Flash RPG.. I doubt it.

Yay! I've completed it :D
.
But at the end it says "Created by Nashkel", so was this H a typo, or did you forget yours? :P
