Never had a problem winning: just mash buttons. Lots of fun. The characters all felt different when playing them, even while just mashing buttons.

Game becomes very laggy very fast. I also have no idea how to get a 10 combo with 2 basic attacks that don't seem to chain.

SAVED DATA FOUND AND LOADED. WELCOME BACK. It needs a load bar when it says that. I had no idea whether it was loading or not. It just went from wait to begin after a bit.

amazin game but i have 1 complaint, if uve played it once........IT TAKES THE PISS WITH THE LOADING TIME FUCKING HELL SPEED IT UP!!!!! 5stars

Convict's last match can be somewhat luck based. If you turn into someone that causes a lot of damage (Samurai, Piconjo, Pico) you can try to quickly kill of the one characters and it gets a lot easier. Similarily if you get the invincibility powerup, or something like that. Otherwise it can be really dificult.

you could say that's bitterness but in my eyes it's justified, sods law that you released yours in the same month as the desktop td patch though. Harsh

no way! alloy is he is a spinner jump thin attack and he hit like 12 times for 7 like salad fingers...it alomost ORGASMIC!

Yeah, s'asshole is way overpowered. Just breezed through the storyline with him like nothing, the other characters were at least a bit of a challenge.

really like the game. played it alot on newgrounds. still i think its a bit unbalanced, s'asshole is a tiny bit powerful, or is it just me?

@FreshPrinceofRR: Umm, there are up and down attacks, and the point is that the convict's level is for pros (aka: people WITH a strategy, not button mashers).
And what, is the gameplay that bad? I haven't seen any decent SSB-styled games before.
3 People worked their butt off for 2 years to make this awesome game, then people like you pretend you don't like it just because it's a NG game..
Seriously annoying, the game is obviously way above average and if you beat the game, seen the secrets and everything, you can go challenge yourself on versus, so it really doesn't end.
(Would like to see a multiplayer game like this though xP).

This is definitly a huge breakthrough in the flash game genre. One of the best, and it will probably lead to much more advanced games in the future.

Don't know the characters (if Newgrounds starts sharing their ad revenue with creators, I might start going there, but not until then) and there was no obvious help as to how to play.

terrible game. not dynamic at all. no up attacks, down attacks, the most effective strategy is clicking the same button over and over, and you win. ... that is, unless you're playing the last level with convict, and you just die. thats all you can do. not knowing anything about newgrounds characters, this game is incredibly boring. only played for the card.

This is a top-notch game with lots of iconic characters. I love it. That end fight with Conflict is stupid-hard, tho!!

THis game took a lot of my free time, and i mean that in the best way possible, i just wish there was a lil more diverse of levels, but thats really picky cuz they look great

i think this is one of the best ever flash games ive ever played. it even compares to console games....it is like the newgrounds version of super smash bros..but very creative and original

this game is amazing... the only thing that is wierd is how Convict is unlockable and when u buy him hes not even that good hes shit on his own until he switches... but this game is addictive i plaed for hours staright i am best with pico or that red robot
