I reloaded the game, it took about a minute to boot up but my progress seems to be saved until a few seconds before the crash.

Hey, Dev, it's me again... I just wanted to give you a quick reply to your response on my previous comment.
Don't worry too much about what your are changing and what you are not, and update your game as you see fit. The game is good as it is already (I agree with some comments on balancing, though) and knowing that this is your first REAL game only shows yoyr talent. Keep up the good work!
♥♥♥ Kind words are the only cure for me now! But, just, you, as a developer, see the game's rating drop and all these comments about game issues (and you realize they're all right!), but the game gets so big and messy, and it's so easy to break something, and it takes me a long time even for small additions, and you realize that most people will already finish the game and won't see all these updates, because you'll be doing them forever, and you just... bruh. I really want to make this game better, and I will try anyway, but I can say that now I really understand the developers of all those games that were abandoned and never developed after 1-2 updates

I am enjoying the game so far, pretty good idea. The only thing that grinds my gears is the same thing Nightmare_terror said, I can't do anything else on the computer, because if I change tabs or something the game pauses =(
Thank yo for kind words! Really sorry for inconvenience, i just can't allow game to play in background because of engine limitation, but i will think how to compensate it!
Thank you, but, yeah, I have no experience in developing big games (it's really big game for me, before it were only little prototypes), and when you balance it to so easy to break something, and if you break something, and it can destroy experiense of play for much people.. So im not sure I can handle this, I really want to update this game, but it need really much stuff to fix, and im not sure I can do it, but i will try

You expect us to grind to 10k coins with just the ball and gun turret? Yeah no thanks im gone. A game needs a lot more than just one enemy and one tower.
You will unlock Rebirth pretty fast, and it allows you to increase max count of the turrets, and also to significantly increase income, so 10k wont be a problem.

One idea to fix the RP system is to instead have the MP and per level bonuses contribute to a limit that, if the player is under, boost the RP they gain from killing monsters. This would be a catch up mechanic for idlers if they didn't ride the curve. For example, if a player had 0.8 RP per level, 16 MP and 10k levels, then the pool would be 10k * 0.8 * 16 = 128k. Suppose the Player has a lifetime of 12k RP, then each monster gets a proportional bonus from the 116k pool which he "missed out on". Monster RP gain could be like a function of x = 116k/(Monster RP value), capped above 1. You could then use 1+log5(x) as a multiplier to boost RP gain, or some other function you like.
This is just the beginning. I read all the comments here and realized that the game needs a lot more changes and balancing to work better, so I will do my best to do it. Thank you for your support!

The way coin requirements for RP scales up over rebirths pretty much kills the game. I'm spending points, but some of my rebirths I feel like I'm getting weaker. My last rebirth I gained .7 RP, and my coin cost for RP increased from 153 to 310. If you rebirth often and/or guess wrong on where to spend points, looks like you end up horrifically crippled by it.

Once again. Autosave doesn't work for me. I have Chrome 87.0.4280.66. As far as I can see, the latest version is 87.0.4280.100. Manual save / Reload doesn't work either. Save to file does. I use Linux - maybe it's the issue? Tried Firefox 78.5 - the autosave works there. But I can't use FF all the time - Chrome is a corporate standard on my job.

The targeting system's programming seems pretty good, from my experience-- from what enemy is damaged by clicks, to the aim of turrets (even if the system might not be, without upgrades, insanely efficient in terms of speed (of rotation/targeting), it seems to work as intended, so I find that a feature worth applauding. Just wanna let you know that I think you should be fairly proud of your work, thus far, NE. I hope you don't get discouraged from feeling inspired to revisit your game, whether to play and test it yourself as we do (and enjoy that), or to work on it. Cheers (:

Oh my god, I had no idea there were multiple tabs of Rebirth Point upgrades. Realizing it now helps so much. It'd be nice if that was briefly included in the tutorial, and much appreciated, for those of us who are less attentive and didn't understand the significance of checking all those tabs. More of a user's fault for not exploring as much, which is why I still applaud your game, NE, and wanna let you know you've done a great job getting it functioning and looking great, thus far!
I hoped that "You can buy something in this tab" indicators will help, but yeah, design can be a little confusing, i understand you! I will try to figure out how to fix it, thank you for kind words!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
biggest complaint from me is that it isn't actually an idle game. It doesn't run while the tab is not focused or don't have it open

I enjoyed this a lot. Very original game, but after 6/7 rebirths (one day of playing) you have unlocked all items and there's not much that makes you want to keep playing. The game also has various bugs. Sound is often out of sync, scrolling of the menu's is bugged/laggy and the game freezes intermittently (very short freezes). There's a long freeze when you press rebirth. Full-screen is bugged for me. Prices need some tweaking. Reload duration upgrade is too expensive, the cost/reward ratio of the health upgrade is bad and the damage upgrade of the first tower is very expensive compared to what you get. Needs a buy max option. It would also be nice to have more prestige upgrades, such as price reduction, tower damage and fire rate. Using the latest version Firefox. But, overall, well done. I hope you keep working on this.
Now, after some time, I really understand that Im overestimated my skills, and it's much harder to develop that big game for me (before i was doing only little prototypes), but I will do my best to try, thank you very much for kind words! It helps much!

One of the biggest qol for this game would be the ability to work without focus on the window, because currently it demands to be active all the time, not counting some fullscreen tricks that also doesn't work all the time.

Since the description of the first tower have a "can rotate" there, I was really hoping there would be one that cannot rotate.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Since you can reposition them, after rebirth, the game should remember turrets' and buildings' places and position them automatically after they are re-unlocked

Now i'm not saying you game mechanic is necesseraly bad, having to jungle between greed (RP value; getting more RP for same amout of gold) and other upagrde so you get gold faster can be interesting. The frustrating aspect here is that you got no warning about that aspect, and if you started bad it's too late. This rebirth mechanic could work with another deeper layer of rebirth allowing you to try again and optimize it without starting from total scratch . Hope it helps, and thanks for you work :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Thank you for the answer but I think you may got it wrong too: Because the amout on gold you need to get the next RP is not reseted on rebirth, it means that not getting the RP value upgrade ASAP is a loss of RP, a loss that may not be verry impactfull at the begining, but that will grow the longer you play. Let's say for your first rebirth, you decide to get 5 more times rebirth points than what you need for the rp value upgrade. in the end you get a loss of 0.25 RP compare to the gold amount needed to get the next RP. This 0.25 rp loss will never get back, and will make acess to next RP value upgrade slower, thus making the loss of potential RP for gold even greater, and this will snowball. That's what i meant by being punished for doing longer rebirth.
There is autosave. You can check browser console for errors. Your browser may be outdated, but anyway it's not my fault. I tested it on all up to date browsers and it works perfectly fine.

once again, on units:
- distances in pixels make sense. Knowing the grid is 120 pixels FINALLY makes sense (default display in kongregate is 1/2 resolution, so I couldn't make sense of the turrent ranges)
- linear speed in "pixels per second" also make sense (and based on your previous answer, this is probably what you meant)
- rotation speed "in pixels" makes no sense at all. I'd understand degrees/second, or a slightly weird definition of "a point at a distance of RADIUS ahead of the turrent moves N pixels/second" or even something like "N pixels per second on a square path around the tower, square of size S" or even "the tower can be in one of N_positions angular positions, and can jump N_jump steps per tick (+ a definition of "tick")"
And the kicker is that the relation between mob speed (at a distance of 1 grid distance) and rotation speed is incredibely important for chosing the right upgrades at the right time...
It really important i really didn't think before, thank you for drawing attention to the issue. And yeah, I said it incorrect in previvous comment, rotation speed is in degrees, all distances/speeds are in pixels, yeah, sorry for confusion

Also breaks my scrolling, causing the window to be unable to be scrolled up or down after a certain point on the screen... not very cohesive to trustworthiness of the program. Good luck!
Game prevents you from scrolling, when game is on focus, because there are scrollbars in the game, so you must use them without scrolling the entire page. But you can scroll your browser page perfectly fine, when game isn't on focus (just move mouse away from game screen to unfocus it). I don't even have physical ability to affect your entire browser tab scrolling.

Game eats up an EXUBERANT amount of resources for something with such basic graphics. Probably massive memory leaks. Totally unplayable for me especially since a idle game is something I want to have running in the back while I do something else... look into this, thanks!
On my 7 years old PC with Windows 10 it uses 5-15% of the CPU, 5-7% GPU and 400-700 mb of RAM. I will check it better for memory leaks, but, anyway I spent much time on optimization, so it works with stable 55-60 fps on my old 150$ laptop.

Hey! No autosave? You should at least mention it in the game description. I closed the page before going to sleep - and now all my progress is lost.
There is autosave. You can check browser console for errors, if saving is fine, it just says "Saved: Save1", Maybe your browser is outdated, but anyway it's not my fault. I tested it on all up to date browsers and it works perfectly fine.

Currently at 2.7k coins, unlocks has an update flag but see only the basic monster and tower unlocked and three ? boxes. Am I supposed to do something specific to see the second monster?
