eh. I wasnt a fan of the whole random attack cycle. It makes it feel like I won only because I got lucky. But the grinding was kinda necessary seeing as their was only 9 levels in the whole game

Gah, this game took to long to beat, due to a load of bs. The Final battle was interesting but that time I mostly have all the upgrade, *shrugs*. I don't like how long it takes a fireball to re-spam. Great idea adding stats to the hats. With the right combo, it makes a different.

I cant unlock the finale, because I am too much upgraded to even reach the scores before I destroy them without even trying.

Probably one of the better Nerdooks I've played. Music was good and the variety in level styles was also a fresh change from what could have been monotonous. However, there was still a fair bit of grinding needed to upgrade the skills - most of which were needed. And, as usual, the first 10 minutes were spent playing without knowing what was happening. Nonetheless, it was an improvement on Cat God and I do respect you, Nerdook, for putting together a game which despite its shortcomings, still held my interest. 4/5.

as usual with Nerdook games you hav eno clue how to play when you start. dont know what the upgrades do. Scarab Powers? how do you activate them? what the heck are scarabs? why are there 50 enemies on the screen? another game that just has too much useless madness going on

Dear Cat: Stop telling me "Lousy Shot" when I hit two scarabs still. Also, stop telling me "Worst shot ever" when I'm letting them build up so I can get a combo. Thanks.

When you have a lot of upgrades, sun gods die so rapidly it's impossible to get the gold scarabs, do I can't unlock the last level ...

Somehow, I never seem to play nerdooks games till the end...they are fun to begin with..then you realize you need to grind to get to the end...

A fun game however a step down from the first one in gameplay. However not meant to discourage, trying new things is great and it was a fun game. I look forward to what you come up with in the future. 3/5

Nice game but there's an issue with level 8: it says "earn at least 2500 gold to win" but I hit exactly 2500 when I lost and it didn't count the level as a win. I had to repeat the level with a better score to get the win, then win the last level again to get the Monarch Mow Down Badge.

So is it just me, or do half the upgrades actually impede your ability to get gold scarabs? I mean they're great for basic survival, but they disrupt combos really badly.
