One of nerdook's weaker games. Didn't feel like I had enough control and eventually I just got bored...Still, a bad nerdook game is a decent game overall. 3/5

The auto fire is a bit annoying making it so I keep missing because I can't fire when I want and I fire when I don't want to...

The sun emperor level needs to be changed dramatically. When going for the golden scarab, you find yourself 1) keeping Cat god alive...the opposite point to the level, 2) trying desperately to get the scarabs before he does (which is quite difficult even with all 3 stats maxed,) and 3) the hires prove useless. In all i wish the game was less random, and i think that level needs to be rethought. 4/5 (Game 1 was 5/5)

I'm so disappointed in this game, I absolutely LOVED Cat God but this sequel takes away all user control, i.e. what makes a game fun. I can't aim fireballs because I can't throw them, they are automatic. I can't choose scarab powers because they are random. Think about it, the only control for this game is the mouse and 1 mouse button. :( Sad kitty.

Not fun. To much randomness, the golden scarab concept stunk. Plus not having a fire ball upgrade made the game feel like grinding. Very disappointed. I was excited....

Side note: The meteor doesn't actually do anything. Even when a meteor falls directly through the building, destroying three parts with ladders in them, it didn't do anything. The enemies just kept on climbing back on up, as if nothing happened.

"lousy shot!" No shit it was a lousy shot, my giant-cat-god-powered-fire ball is moving slower than a f**king slave! Not to mention I don't actually get to choose when to fire the damn things, it's on a crappy auto fire... So in conclusion: Cat God 1, was miles better than this...

Nice sequel, but I enjoyed the first game more. So 4/5. Some bugs: Enemy codex says that Sun Kings are able to hurl fireball back when hit by one, but actually they counterattack when hit by pillars of fire and scarab powers as well. I died a couple of times in the last level due to fireball spam. Also, ghosts' legs aren't transparent.

Slaves : We have a wooden framework ready , we can climb and kill the cat god !
Sun king : Wooden framework ? Nonsense ! I will only climb a marble temple ! Build a marble temple , so I can climb and kill the cat god , I dont care if all of you die in the process .

To win the game, you have to deliberately not destroy your primary objective efficiently. Like, you seriously have to move your auto-firing mouse cursor out of his way, not click anywhere near him, hope you don't hit enough bonus scarabs to trigger special powers that hurt him, and refrain from upgrading yourself too much. Because efficiently overpowering the bad guys is lame.

once u did no "collect" gold scarabs right from the beginning it is almost impossible to get them later cuz u are to overpowered and games ends too fast ....
