I think a cool thing to add in the next update would be (if Nerdook makes 1) A extended campaign to get more points like maybe a max of 30 points and more skills for characters?

My only beef with this game is that the Game Over music is the coolest. I thoroughly enjoy losing due to this... (oh, and volume adjustment would be fantastic)

Test with 2 Bruisers and a Dog. The bruiser, with inmunity to fire and bleed, extra defense against melee, the maximum health upgrade available and the maximun movement upgrades (in total, 7 upgrades each). The dog only with the ability of healing all the hp of the partners when it dies. Send the Bruisers forward, and try to convert in the center of the melee (enemies must surround you). Keep the Dog behind one of the Bruisers and, when your Bruiser starts to lose too much health, throw the Dog against any enemy: it has higher priority than Bruisers. When the Dog dies, it will heal completely the two Bruisers. At this moment, and with two Earthshakes, no enemies can resist them.

When choosing characters, I can only see the first two lines of description for each character class. I feel like I am missing vital information here, and it is quite frustrating to me!

Line-of-sight doesn't seem to protect my units from shooters, the way it protects AI units from mine. I'm literally getting sniped by enemies that I can't shoot back at.

Yo, Nerdook- one bit of advice:
This is a pretty good game, but the problem is that the different families don't really have different sets of AI. I mean, I created a really cool setup- 2 dogs, one shooter that trounced everything. The dogs would sit back and bathe in a pool of mutual regeneration while the shooter would take out any threats approaching. It ended up working brilliantly, but I know those silly dogs are just going to charge off once they've become AI animals.

A tip: make sure that your team is balanced. Don't put all of your points into a single character or you will lose./ - - My team was two shooters and a bruiser and I beat the game without losing a single battle. Put 6 points into your bruiser for health, and then the rest into your shooters for damage and stun. All of the enemies will attack the bruiser and the shooters just pick people off. Also, I have not had good experiences with "when an ally dies" skills. They just are not that useful.

While the game is excellent as it is, I would like to suggest the addition of Insane Robot and (Super Mega Ultra) Evil Genius classes.

So i have been playing this game every day. And every day i find the game has been updated, first i see the zombie update, then the pyro, and now the cosmetic controls... talk about after release support!

i tried playing my own family - it ended up with two shooters facing off, both with the final shot triple damage upgrade, and he shot me... both died. and i lost, because I died first.

Charger: Omega Strike; Next hit does 5x damage and sets the enemy on fire. Bruiser: Shaken Earth; Deals damage to all enemies, and stuns them for 3 seconds. Kid: Teleport Strike; Teleports 4 times, striking enemies at random. Shooter: Glass Cannon; Lose 25% of your current health, but triples your maximum damage. Cat: Kitty Litter; Creates two random cats that have the same damage as you, but only 50 HP. Dog: Sacrifice Doggy; You and all enemies take 75 damage. Cutter: Behead Enemy; Teleport strike at 125% damage on the enemy with the lowest HP. Gain 75 HP. Tinker: Sentry Gun; Drops a Sentry Gun that fires up to 15 bullets at random enemies at 5-10 damage each. Thrower: Meteor Drop; Drops a Meteor on a random enemy, dealing 100 damage and starting fires. Zombie: Zombie Horde; Summon three Zombies with 35 HP each, and 35 extra HP for every dead enemy. Pyro: Burning Tsunami; A giant tsunami of fire that deals 25-50 damage to enemies and starts random fires.

the game needs a sandbox mode where you could just fight and upgrade even after you beat all the houses i would like to see what a completly over powered family would be like

pyro's should stay the way they are the only reason why they dont suck is becuase it forces you to move so you dont get damaged meaning u lose 1 turn to attack

Love this game! The only downside is that the game tends to encourage people to play 3 of the same class due to synergy. i.e. 3 Cutters can throw daggers vs melee plus counter, and all resist range. 3 pyros all set fires and all gain 1-5 dmg per fire in play. Dogs synergize like crazy! 3 tinker electrocute stun, etc.

I'm sick of people commenting how they beat Nerdook's family. Goddamnit, it's a game, also I beat it too, what about it? There are countless familys harder than Nerdook's, and just because of the author and the name doesn't means it's in anyways unbeatable or makes you special if you beat it.
