simple unbeatable setup: symettrical at either end, place on top of eachother in the following order: piercing, cannon, 3 sleepers (or an eye in the middle if ghosts are present). Rely on sleepers alot before you unlock the other towers. For survival, make sure you have the soul sword upgrade. Use booster blocks if you need a high stack quick, then replace.

Hmmm... this defense game is kinda interesting. Scenario, Enemy variety, block variety,Bosses, cut scenes, its NOT broken... it's good... 4/5! Great job here.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYJjer1Os9s&feature=related is the guide I used to get survival. I had no problems, and never had an enemy make it more than 3/4 of the way of getting my toys. IDK if i can post a link. If I cannot, search Demons Took My Daughter - Survival mode: a piece of cake! on youtube.

The game becomes face-meltingly easy when you get the digestion block in lust. You can skip to lust by time you get to wrath. Its like the second or third lust stage. My strategy is to put a poison block and 2 sticky blocks. 2 spaces over put 2 fireball then a magma block. On the far right, I stack the digesters. It makes short work of all the bosses.

This game was excellent until I reached survival. I'm sorry, but if I dare to place a single block, it immediatly gets turned into cheese and blocks up my space. 4/5

Jesus. I'm not going to lie -- I really achieved something just now. I beat Survival with nothing but the arrow block with one (1) soft toy remaining. I have done something that is impossible. I DEMAND A BRAGGING RIGHTS BADGE.

Pressing R definetly needs a warning before reseting the game. It's kinda annoying when you restart your survival score because you missed the 4-key.

Hah! I managed to beat all the boss levels only with blocks associated with that level. For Pride, I used only the default arrow block. I'm giving myself a medal for that one.

For the easy levels : Sleeping blocks only. 2 big stacks: 1 on the left, 1 on the right, facing eachother.
For the harder levels with ghosts: left stack: eye - piercing - piercing - eye - cannon
2 spaces to the right (one space in between): 1 slowing block
1 space to the right(no space in between): 1 eye
2 spaces to the right(one space in between): slowing block
2 spaces to the right(one space in between):eye - piercing - piercing - eye - cannon
Begin to build 2 piercings on the right, put eye on the left stack, rebuild right stack with eye on bottom. Then just gradually build the left and right stacks. At last, build the slowing blocks and the eye. In levels without ghosts, replace it with whatever you like ;)
In survival, smash the bosses. And when they cheese your blocks, just pause the game and rebuild the stack. Then unpause and smash away!

Attack, piercing, gas and 2 flames blocks(In that order) on each side with either grabber or sticky blocks along the bottom is a great combination for all

If you have problems with Survival: Just build double piles in both directions with digestion towers. kills everything, you don't even need eyes for the invisible boss. Cheers.

Well, I would imagine that adding a platformer into a tower defence would be tricky (how in the seven hells would you be able to run about the stage and place blocks?!)...and here is where the pause mechanics came in veeery neatly, without making the game ridiculously simple (because no damage is done during pausing...but fortunately you can collect the toys, too). Also liked the little jumps the Dad does when being locked in hand-to-hand with a demon - I see that without it you would need to use jump three times as often and it would be a bit tiring.

For survival and proud, yes, because there's a large opening pool of souls. Its meant to be simple and be extremely-low maintenance.

Gold Soul every stage (Including Pride & Survival): Gold Soul every stage: (Requires Pierce and Boost) Start every stage with two Pierce, (P), stacked next to the dolls. Next 6 souls will add 3 Boost, (B), onto this stack. Next 3 add a slow, (S), at the start. Reconfigure the first stack to (B)(P)(P)(B)(B). Next 6 souls, add a single (S) every other space. For Ghost stages, replace every other (S) with an eye, (E). After collecting about 16 souls, mirror the (B)(P)(P)(B)(B) stack in place of (S)#1. This strategy is also extremely useful with the sword upgrade, as you won't need to use your surplus souls for anything. EDIT: Please + so all can see. Pic: http://i53.tinypic.com/rsr6sk.jpg

http://i52.tinypic.com/2jeacqq.jpg this is my tactic i did samething on every round. you can put eye block to middle if there is a ghost. please give + if they worked.

A good strategy I found: once you get the curse block, just use it and the eye block almost exclusively. Once you get a couple curse blocks going in the same area, especially if you have the sword and meteor upgrades, it works really well.

I like that we could still move and build/demolish blocks when pausing the game. Give me time to breathe on the survival mode and rebuild cheesed blocks.

why not more ending songs where u actully sing :( but great stratergy game i ddnt know tower defence can be that fun but in pride u shouldve told that its all demon kinds i thought it was a REALY BIG boss

The controls are terrible in this game. Every time I press to go down to try to attack a damn demon he just floats up instead. Thanks to that I lost my chance to get a gold.

great game! would like to see an expanded version with a little bit bigger playing field. maybe include harder-to-beat monsters and upgradeable blocks.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Btw, great game indeed, I would've loved to see something like a limited time on freezing in game, or make a limit on how many times you can 'freeze'. Would make it more challenging. However, this game is still great and unique, so I will still give it a 5/5 but what I personally would've gave was a 4.5/5, but noooooo... kongregate doesn't do decimals.

'Wow Nerdook, your a terrible father. First zombies took your daughter and now this! You have her killing everyone on 'Deadly Neighbors', and you also have her killing monsters in 'Monster Slayers'. Poor poor little girl.' Page 3 from last page... Reference to how much of a terrible father this guys is. But when I make this joke, nobody rated up, but when Mr. superfunnyhilariousLMAOROFLOL here hiperperson134 says the same thing, he gets his comment rated above greg himself, and everybody keeps shouting to him about how much of an 'epic funny god' he is. Kongregate... Your busting my balls here.

Sorta easy hard. You just to buy everything in the shop except the key that leads to Survival, obviously. Save your souls in Survival, if one of your blocks is cheeseified.

Those TSA Grabber Blocks shows no mercy molesting those poor demons going through security... I know how they feel. =(

Very funny. However, I only noticed upgrades existed (shop) after getting 25 gold medals. Once everything is purchased, the survival mode becomes a piece of cake. I got the remaining gold medal on first try after the purchases. Nice game anyway.

Survival - Flame Blocks are your friend at the start. I drop 5 facing the portals, then build a 2-1-2 of Flames on the bottom and an eye in the middle. Leave a space and then drop another forward facing tower of fires. This gets things rolling pretty smoothly, once you have a bunch of cash, start filling in the rear section of the middle pillar with digesters, then a full tower of digesters at the back. If you get really rich, start swapping out some of the flames for cannons (which are lower single target, but really keep the swarm in check)

Tactic to win survival easily:
You only need 3 blocks: Flame, Eye and Digestion.
First row: 5 flame blocks facing right
Second row: nothing
Third row: Four digestion block facing left and one eye
Fourth row: Same as row 3 but only facing right
Fifth row: Nothing
Sixth row: Flame blocks facing left.
And don't forget replacing blocks, when there are two or more cheesed in a single row.
Good luck!

Another tip: you can kill non-boss demons easily. How? Do this. Pause the time when a non-boss
demon is in between two stacks of blocks. Put 5 blocks (doesn't matter what) then destroy it again. When you unfreeze the time, those non-boss demons are killed. *Sometimes happen or not. Can be used in too many of them in one stack. If it doesn't work for a number of times, click -. If it happens click + so they can see too.

You might want to nerf grabbers a little bit. The game becomes trivial once you get your hands on them, they're so cheap that you can put together a 5 stack in the first 30 seconds or so, and once you have two stacks its basically game over for the mobs. (Bosses are a bit of an issue, but since they come in late, you can basically roll the whole army, then sell your grabbers for something bigger, like the flame launchers or digesters.
