This game is pure genius, not a perfect execution, but a prime concept. Hail Nerdook the kongregate champion, never leave us!

i just want to know.. how to choose the job of adventuers? I only got warrior, rogue and bar only, but I want to use a cleric / paladin

I think there should be a better way to lure adventurers, I sort of enjoy the randomness, but it's tedious to watch them walk around a 4 block square 10+ times to get it right

GREAT GAME !! Really :-) I love to build the dungeons and see the guys fight through them.
Some suggestions would be a few different types of tiles to place, adventurers that start as peasants and develop into characters and more difficulty. I did get to the final level in 20 days on my first try.

This was a refreshing take on the flash game genre. Excellent job. The end song cracked me up. Definitely would like to see this game expanded upon.

To take out the dragon fairly easily, fill in every square on level 15. Your guys will spend *far* more time wandering around, getting their HP back than attacking the dragon.

HUGE PROBLEM WITH THE GAME i now have a level where the entrance is in a corner and the exit is rite next to it... PLEASE FIX (im sugesting fixing the random generator so that is has to spawn the exit at least 2 blocks away.. i want ahead and got the next 2 levels just to see what wouldv happend and i have 2 levels with entrance/exit -_-

I beat the game within 25 days the first time but all I ever got was one warrior, 3 barbarians and the rest were rogues. when some of my barbarians died they also became roques so in the end I had about 6 rogues and a warrior or something. I haven't even seen the other classes:(

I agree with those who are irritated by the *completely* random paths. I've come back after ten minutes to have them *still* wandering around the same small area. Fortunately, the solution is pretty simple:
1. For each character, create a 2D array the size of the cells on a floor.
2. Each time each character enters a cell, increment the value of that cell.
3. Generate a random number (e.g. 1 - 5) for each legal exit from that cell, and add to it the value of the cell in that direction.
4. Choose the lowest value and travel in that direction.
Over time, the character will tend to drift in the direction of the cells that it has travelled over the least, while still wandering around.

There should be some option do decide which item will be replaced next when a chest is picked up in Dungeon Crawl mode as it keeps randomly replacing my 2nd and 3rd item but not filling up the 1st slot.

3/5....it is way too luck based for the hard badge...you have to literally get lucky enough to have good exp levels, but also good enough items to drop so that you can get more gold / kill things easier...make the items actually get drastically better so theres a chance to get the hard badge without grinding this game from start to finish constantly....or make the hard badge the dungeon crawl and not the 26 days...

You should have the option of skipping floors instead of having two guys go to X floor, two to Y floor etc.. Otherwise awesome. 5/5

The Dungeon Crawl item pick up is so bad... Most the time it puts the item in the same slot and leaves the other two empty. And keeps replacing that one item

I think there's a bug in dungeon crawl. I am currently assigned the Barbarian and every chest I open it replaces the single middle slots item. I first had 25 percent gold, then 50, then +10 percent damage, then 15, now I have a +7 max damage. Each replacing the previous item without using the other 2 slots at all.

How to win in 17 days
First: Make sure that you have two rogues as your starting characters. Rogues are very useful for disarming traps, they have a chance for critical strikes which deal great amounts of damage, and they level up quickly making them to be harder to kill.
Second: Set up your first map with the map scheme that you would like, but limit it to a minimum of blocks in order to have enough cash for your next level you will unlock.
Third: After giving your guys a go at the first dungeon in or to get some more cash, spend that cash on dungeon level 2's map scheme, but do not make your guys go in yet.
Glitch: Select the back button on the upper left corner. After doing so, click continue from the main menu. This won't reset your characters at all, but it will remove your level 2 dungeon map. All you have to do now is unlock that level, and you will now see that it will unlock along with your map scheme, WITHOUT spending any of your precious money.
Rinse and repeat.

Would be greatly improved if we have different types of tiles. Also I find it really annoying that your group is never together. I would like it much better if the group started together on the lowest level and experience for the round was shared with the entire group.

PS
Nerdook always makes epic games. I could give it 5 stars without playing it knowing it was made by Nerdook. Keep up the great work.

Well, I beat it. Only two complaints (sadly):
1. You should be able to choose/buy what types of guys you get, instead of randomly getting them. I only got Rounded, Clergys, Mages, and on Barbarian and Paladin.
2. You should be able to place money on other objects, cause there was a trap next to a chestbut couldn't get it wihtout risking them hitting the trap.

wow, this game is fun. It would be cool if you could customise the adventurers further though...mabye like a name, pick a starting adventurers class, or something to the effect.
