For those having problems with navigation, try guiding your heroes with gold : ) If you don't like spending gold, then try to place something rather heavy on your spacebar, go tell your mother you love her, give her a hug, return to your computer and you'll have plenty of money! If you run out of money, then just repeat the above. Though, don't do it too many times, your mother might start to suspect of you doing drugs or something...

The first thing I will say about Dungeon Developer, is that it gives a whole new perspective to the ordinary hack-and-slash RPG. The artwork is cute, the soundtrack is comical, and the ability to test your own creation in Dungeon Crawl Mode adds a pinch of nostalgia to the mix. Not only are you the master of your own dungeon, but you can share it with others as well; an appealing feature that opens the door to countless possibilities. Sadly, those possibilities are limited by linear gameplay and virtually no plotline, which is a great disappointment for a game that shows so much potential. Basic RPG elements such as character attributes, items, and skills are present, but they aren't emphasized enough to give the game any real depth. I give it 4 stars for personality, but if there is an expansion pack, I hope the creators go that extra mile to make this game truly worthy of a 5-star rating.

as i type this my adventurer is going in circles for the 100th time on this level alone, WEEEEEEEE....still going.....still....*bashes head in*

That guy was right. Having a Paladin and a Rogue make the hard badge easy, just keep expanding floors and keep attacking every monster that you can afford to.

It would be much better if you could select which hero class you get (or disband those you don't want). Isn't it better to have all six classes? If you decide to make DD 2 please make heroes selectable! :)

It's quite simple to get the hard badge if you get how it work.
First, if you start with a warrior/barbarian... restart. Paladins are the best in my opinion, but warriors and barbarians are just WEAK. Rogues are also good. Just care about your first two adventurers; all the others usually won't make it to the dragon in time.
Second, simply try to make your adventurers face as many monsters as possible. There's level limitation at some floors (don't know wich ones tough), and most of the time that's the reason why you're running short on time.
Third, you are the one SELLING the items, meaning you earn money when equipping adventurers! So always sell all your items. That's what the third adventurer and all the others after him are for : buying items!
Damage items are better than protection items, since you earn exp faster, and levelling up restore your hp.
Finally, when you reach the dragon ,hit stop if you're about to die. Better to lose a day than having to start over.

@Dkwz - Mabye they're not a high enough level?
Love the song at the end just by looknig at the lyrics. Can't actually listen to it tho cos my speakers broke :/
I love this game :) It's an awesome variation on the classic game 'Go into a dungeon and beat up stuff by following this path through the dungeon'. The only thing I can think of which would be better would be a game where you have to design a dungeon to try and kill heros... Although I think that game already exsists.
Love your games Nerdook. Keep up the good work :)

Purchase and arrange up to lvl 10, but those adventurers keep getting out at lvl 8 (full HP)

The website developers really should remove the hackers from the highscores because I seriously doubt they beat the game in 1 or 2 days.

I was so delighted that I managed to get close enough to the Hard Badge for me to be able to purchase all 15 dungeons, and lay them out correctly. I was at a loss, as my last adventurer, a Paladin, stumbled his Level 13 armored butt into Dungeon 15. With a health-per-tile item equipped, he actually managed to knock down the dragon bit-by-bit from 6500. Alas, he landed the Blue Portal with <50% HP… and the dragon had 536 HP left to go. I have mixed feelings for that Blue Portal near the dragon. 5/5 game, heartbreak that I now have beaten this game in 26, not 25, days.

day 25: my adventurers heading out to kill the dragon in the last day for hard bagde....before they reach him they perform some kind of diagonal moving and get stuck -.-

lol when i saw the achievement Dungeon basher i thought it meant 26 REAL days lol i was like DANG this is a LONGGGGGG game

I managed to beat the dragon solely by the help of 3 level 17 rogues, and strangely enough, nearly all my other characters were also rogues.

There's sort of a glitch/exploit bug. If you just repeatedly click go and stop, it gives you a decent amount of gold each time you exit the dungeon, meaning you can get ridiculous amounts of money in a short amount of time. I don't know if there's anything you can or will do to fix this, but I'm sure this isn't intentional.

i got alot of ideas that can be added to the game like when yu beat the game you can start puting cheats and traps and health and portals and enemies but you have a limted amount f thoose items per floor of the dugeon and you can make it as high as 100 floors and you can make the boss easy and make mini bosses

I hate it when I put a 2x2 to get all the items in an area and put gold to attempt to lure the adventurers out, but they just continuously go in a circle, robbing me repeatedly :<
