what is the point of adding level 0 heros into the game after level 3? the heros wont go into the dungeon, and theres no way of starting at the top level once a level is unlocked.

i like this game alot i wish that i couldov recuited my adventurers because i keep getting mages :/ but i still liked it because i could make the path for them and for the hell of it i made dead ends and it was funny to watch them go in the dead ends BUT it was a very nice game and there should be a sequal

Over all a pretty decent game. I wish you could choose what types of adventurers to recruit... I literally got 5 rogues. Also, maybe it was because of the layouts I chose, but it was extremely easy. Another installation with a little more flexibility would be fantastic. Very nice.

good game, but wat i hate about is that my rogue is the only that goes up all the way 2 the bottom of the dungeons, the rest of them go back 2 town, but i dont no probably just because i just started, but it still getting on my nerves >:)

I KILLED THE DRAGON IN 2 F UCKING DAYS WHY DON'T I HAVE THE BADGE I i had to run up and down for so long to get hp to kill that dragon so give me the badge

I really hate it when they place the entry near the exit right on the 15th floor, it's so annoying that you got there so easy but can't fulfill the actual purpose of the game. It needs a spacing rule at least 1 tile distance between entries and exits, so that this stuff doesn't happen anymore. Except that it's a pretty nice idea, I like it alot 4,5/5

The RNG that determines the direction the adventurers moved seems to be a little less than random. When I put tiles on every space, the adventurers spend most of their time in the lower lefthand corner of the room.

dungeon crawl was a fun aspect but had a terrible glitch. if you have an item of resurrection it does not work when you go to 0%. Whats the point in forcing me to change to having 2 of those if neither one can activate? Other than that the crawl was fun.

Figured it out on Day 27; if you exit a level (on the edge?) in a direction that would start you heading off the side of the map with an entrance on the edge, you immediately hit the town. Lame bug.

I just hit some weird bug where my adventurers will refuse to go from floor 14 to 15, despite being high enough level and having gold on the floor. I was all prepped to take out the dragon at Day 21, and then nothing.

"The right equipment on the right people"... Right. So why can't they trade? They HAVE to "delete". What's that even mean? It means "Throw it in the trash". I didn't think "Soulbound Items" existed outside of WoW. D:<

I didn't like the Gold Coins bit. You NEED to put them on a level, but you lose money when your adventurers walk over them? But they're not YOUR adventurers, are they! Only they are. Only they aren't. And once you unlock a checkpoint floor, you can sell all your tiles from previous floors? Well, it makes you money. I see no reason to keep that stuff there. It can be better used elsewhere. :P

well, ive beaten the game finally & i can say its a pretty good game, few flaws still though, example: i had unlocked all floors, then dungeon crawler mode came out,i played it,& all floors past 8 locked again also, dungeon crawler mode can be kind of annoying, cause when you get a chest, rather then the item going into the shop, your adventurer usually takes it & drops one of his other items but ther way,i seem to like crawler mode more then the normal mode >_< 4/5

At first I honostly thought this game was bad (Nerdook's game? Bad? NEVER!) but when I got the hang of it this game was (and still is) badass!

Excellent points, Tiader and Opa! I made the exact same suggestions to Nerdook before. :)

I really hate how the items overwrite other items, even when there is plenty of space in your storage. This is very noticeable when watching the items on floor 0 during a raid. And yeah, I think Nerdook should get rid of the gold requirement per floor. Requiring the 1 gold per floor is a vestige of when the game first came out, and every hero used to have a yellow bar that was like a time limit till they came back to town. Now the gold requirement per floor is nearly useless cause I just use 1. It's a formality, and, it seems to confuse new players who don't get why their characters are leaving the dungeon. I'd just take the requirement out. (plus, it's not needed on the final floor but it's still there)

Really great! My only nitpicks would be:
1) It should be made clear to the player that lower-level items will overwrite higher-level ones in the store, or else that shouldn't happen. I had to watch the store while a raid was in progress to notice it happening, and it's silly to make the player ignore the action like that.
2) It should be possible to sell store items without selling them to an adventurer. I assume unsold items are simply overwritten -- it's always optimal, then, to sell and immediately delete all but the last item before finishing the selling process.
3) Maybe remove the "must have at least one gold bag on a floor for adventurers to move on" mechanic? It feels very weak to carve out an entire floor and then lose a day of exploring it just because you forgot to place one gold bag.
Very minor points, definitely. Great, great job!

Nerdook, I would suggest that on dungeon crawl you can choose which item gets tossed instead of randomly losing one you wanted to keep. Also when you have one that allows you to resurrect from 0% hp it counted as a loss instead of reviving the character. Really fun game, I have enjoyed all you have made.

i remember the first time i played this game... i thought it sucked. But later, i came back again, and realized that i only hated it because i didnt know how to play it. Now that i have come back, however, this has to be one of my favorite games on kongregate. The music is great, but the way adventurers get stuck (up,down,up,dow,up,down(GO LEFT!!)up,down) is annoying. However, great game 5/5, since vertical drop heroes, your games have been great. Nerdook is an awesome seahorse.

A lot of fun. Thanks for making it. :) 4/5!
My only complaint is the music, which gets really repetitive really fast. Needs at least an option to turn music off but to keep sound effects on.
Also, I was a bit confused at first as to what to do (make the heroes survive, make them die, or what) and how to earn best gold, but I guess figuring that out was part of the fun.
