I would enjoy the game much more if the adventurers weren't completely brain dead and would actually try to progress instead of continuously running in circles, stealing my money.

There is a bug where an adventurer can go through a wall, get back on the path, and then split from the rest of the party.

allowing us to give away money to guide the heros is not a good way to cover up the fact that they have 0 AI. They just randomly choose a direction whenever there is a fork in the road and sometimes double back on the direction they just explored.

Got Platinum on my first try! Make sure your paths go through every single enemy. And as many treasure chests as possible. By floor 15, you'll be buff and you'll get great accessories from town.

OH yeah, it would be good if there were more stats, than just life and damage. At least one stat for each thing that the items affect.

This was a great game. It could use a little more explanation/ insruction. Despite the comments from the "king," it took me a bit of experimenting to figure it out.
Also, the treasure feature is TEDIOUS. Best strategy is to sell all items to all heros on each level to get the most gold, but a lot of the items are junk, so I find myself equipping, unequipping, reequipping, etc.

21 day,
lvl 16 Paladin
lvl 16 Warrior
lvl 16 Warrior
lvl 13 Rogue, lvl 11 Paladin, lvl 8 Rogue, lvl 4 Cler
(used lvl up for 15k once at the last day)
Dragon's dead, enjoyed the game :)
Hint on the last level -don't make a single path, buy as many tiles as you can, so heroes can damage a dragon a bit and then run in circles regaining their health. This way you'll make much more dmg per day to him then by suicide runs :p

Whether you can clear the dungeon in 25 turns or less seems to be entirely dependant on the random layout of the starting tiles in the mid to lower levels, which is lame.

23 days, folks! :) really nice game, made my day, i think nerdook is really improving, this is his best game at the moment

A way to make it easier end game would be like a split screen. Instead of watching just one floor divide the screen into like 5 floors, then u can just flip through a few and c all the floors.

Love this game! Only wish there was an infinite type mode where I could just sit around and constantly build more floors and level up my guys. :)

If you don't care about the amount of days you play, you can just repeatedly click go-stop. Each time they return to floor "0" they get money, so each time you hit stop you get money, but a day goes by.

Easy way to make money: 1. equip adventurer with low grade items, e.g. damage + 5%.
2. destroy it. 3. equip more low grade items. 4. finally, equip high grade stuff and play properly

I wish the items you get from the treasure chests don't get "dropped" when you have a full inventory. I sometimes save an item or two waiting for a class that fits it only to find out that the reserved item has been "dropped" in favor of the new loots. Maybe expand the inventory a bit or add an item bank. If that's not possible, maybe higher-level items can only be "dropped" if the new item is of better quality (ie. monetary value or effects value).

The more I play it the more amazed I am at how well balanced it is. Here are a few tips: 1 pay attention to what the guy tells you in the chat bubbles. 2 In the beginning dont worry too much if you have to run several days just to build up cash to open the next floors. 3 Stopping a run with several wounded adventurers can be very profitable . 4 each class has a bonus so keep that in mind when you give them equipment. 5. The shop overwrites existing items when full so you might lose that key item if you don't pay attention. 6 If you need help quick and don't have enough higher level fighters go back and adjust the dungeon to help them along. 7 The fulll health items don't always work and its not just on the dragon so you have to play attention. 8. Damage per centage items are usually better than having damage plus items 9 Adventurers won't enter a level more than 2 levels higher than them or a level without any gold directional bags. Just a few tips for those having problems.

@NoWorries the point of the coin bags is to give the adventurers incentive to keep going into the dungeon, if there's no gold on a level or if you make a really long path and only one gold bag they will leave and go back to the surface.

Easiest hard badge on the site I think. Played through once to learn it and then played through again and got the hard badge. Once you get how the game works it isn't bad at all.

Ok, the only real complaint that I have with these games by Nerdook is the sound. Seriously, I cannot have the volume any lower than it is right now, and the headphones hurt my ears. Few other games on Kongregate have given me this problem. Please, for the sake of those of us who *do* have good hearing and don't want to blare the speakers, try to come up with a volume control other than simply "On or Off."

I thought the having to put down gold coin bags (which force you to lose some gold) and having to have an adventurer walk over one of those bags to go to the next level was an annoying and pointless dynamic. Other than that the game was very fun and bug free.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Okay. The adventurers are complete idiots. They'll leave a dungeon because they can't find a way to move on just because they keep going in an endless loop. What the hell?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yup, those are some stupid adventurers. It was annoying, but kinda funny too. Part of the challenge I guess. The thing that really bothered me was the music. Thankfully its mutable.

If you keep pressing Start and Stop you receive so much gold. I just did this throughout the whole game and bought a lot of cool items for my characters. KEEP THIS POST ALIVE!
