I used to never come close to 20 days and now I've hit 21 twice now and both times should of been 20. Ending levels early I knew helped your gold count if done right but learning that in the later levels that inc gold skills and ending dungeons with someone below 50% on your farthest level really changed the game for me. You can actually make 2 levels at once if lucky when in the 13 or 14 range. But there is a pretty large random variance in gold awarded at the end of levels and at least to me it seems that the more minions you kill the higher the random range increases. I don't know if any of this gibberish might help someone but there it is.

you know, there were some great explanations as to how to play, and there were other places it was lacking. my first time trying to play this game i didn't understand about the money bags, and spent a good 20 days trying to figure out why they wouldn't get off the first floor. i kind of figured that purchasing it was enough....this should be in one of those annoying tips that got in my way and made me buy extra floor tiles on accident!!

Finally defeated the dragon after playing the games 6 times! It worked with only 2 adventurers (one at level 15, and the other at 17). Making them run around in circles at the last stage really helped, as well as making them fight as many monsters as they can in other levels. ALWAYS get the chests and experience point books to achieve the hard badge.

Well it's true I see. I should of searched the web first before asking. It just boggles the mind that folks need to cheat in such simple games I'm guess just to get badges quickly or worse..just because they can. Say no to cheating. Let's have a real competition. 23 days is my best (I had 1 chance at 22). I'm guessing quicker is possible but not by much. A guy makes a great challenging game that's basically impossible to tell legitimate scores from the cheating ones unless they blatantly cheat just to get on the all-time score list. Sad.

i think that in dungeon crawl moe you should be able to choose what class you are instead of it being cleric + if you agree and maybe nerdook will update it

The adventurers being unpredictable is the game. Use your brain to get them to do what you want by using the gold arrow bags and pathing you choose. And it only takes one adventurer to kill the dragon. The real challenge is getting to floor 15 early enough to finish the dragon by 25. So quit complainiing about what the game doesn't do and try to complete it with what it does or move on.

best way to slain dragon is emtry the whole room in floor 15 floor and make ur army walkaround to heal up. also drop some gold bags make them walk longer. P.s. ending song is awesome

ok so i get to lvl 15 and i have 1 day left for platinum and only two of my adventures go into the room. The rest somehow decide not to go to level 15. WTF!!?? and on top of that, there is a blue portal thing so now the two i had there left. WTF NERDOOK??!!!

@Icantlose have you purchased the second floor yet? Shiny green button at the top of the game screen saying Purchase next floor?

One way that I see to make the characters better and at the same time make the game a little harder is to give each character there own little menu where you can view their stats and equipment. Then you can equip them with 1-2 weapons (depending on class), Armor, and Boots. It would increase the effectiveness of the characters while making it so they're not walking around, killing stuff while wearing three different pairs of boots.

OMG WHY CANT I GO TO SECOND FLOOR. ALL MY PEOPLE DO IS RUN AROUND IN CIRCLES, AND WHEN THEY DO GO TO THE EXIT. tHEY DONT GO TO THE SECOND FLOOR

I can see having a rogue first but creating new games over till you get a rogue is basically bypassing one of the challenges of the game. Being able to do well adapting to what you start with is part of the challenge (and the fun to me).

21 days! Here are my tips: Always sell off extra items at the end of each run, and keep creating new games until you get a rogue first off... That helps a lot later when they can disarm traps.

set two records for me in 50+games 7levels in 9 days; 15levels in 21 days; had a chance to finish on day 22 but level 15 wasn't set right yet so it ended up being on day 23 (ties my best..done it twice now). don't see how anyone does it less than 20 beings that was a very lucky run to do that.

I'm having a hard time deleting items from the store. I've tried double clicking, but nothing happens. Rather frustrating.

I already posted this on nerdooks page, but I want everyone to know about this..
I had a dream that nerdook had two games on the front page at one time and I was like, "HELL YEAH!"
+1?

This game needs a 'cancel your selected item' button!
Its annoying that you stuck if you selected a gold coin, and dont wanna place it!

I had a Paladin Lvl 17 (my strongest hero btw) who didn't enter the dungeon anymore ... is this a bug - or is this a feature? ;-)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
To all those finding the game confusing: You make a path from enter to exit on each floor as you earn enough gold to buy the floor. The directional gold bags on the right are just used to guide the loopy adventurers and allow them to enter a new level. Other than that it basically comes down to luck and the path you laid out. It only really takes one adventurer to win and some are more surivable than others. The thief is good because he doesn't take trap damage (you can also make your path avoid traps). The paladin is good because he harder to hit. Even the weakest adventurer(damagewise) can beat the dragon if he can survive long enough so make the 15th level to allow them to detour alot to avoid fighting till they rebuild their health and give the dodge skills, healing skills ect. Mostly just play and have fun and don't be so concerned over the 'hard' badge.

I BEAT IT In 25 Days! But I had one last guy level 10 he almost ran into the portal with 1 health then turned around and beat the dragon! WOOT

In all honesty, this game is, hands down, the absolute worst Nerdook game I've played. It doesn't give you a thorough explanation of what you're supposed to do, and all of the characters act very strangely. You say that it's best to avoid minions? Then how are my characters supposed to level up?
