Under rating threshold (show) why should the game be over when your samurai dies? wouldn't it make more sense if the game was to be over if everyone died?

Under rating threshold (show) OK, I've scored 450,000 on Nightmare. Tips: 1. Hit the Daimyo as early as you can afford to. But you may need to build up your kill meter or find health spots before hitting him. 2. The upgrades I like best are multi-hit samurai, healing helpers, improved kill rate, and improved clones. 3. Go to the territories that upgrade ninjas and elites first; you won't see them until later in the game. Good luck to all!

Under rating threshold (show) I found that Fighting the Mooks was pointless... If you run around and find them all before the Daimyo, you waste all of your clicks, but if you just go to the Daimyo, you fight the same amount of Mooks and get bonuses to boot!

Under rating threshold (show) This is a very good game. However, there are some weak points in it. You are unable to grind, and your monk dies every 3 seconds. Please insert a way to make the player able to get lots of items and experience, even if they've already beaten that zone. Either that, or you can add more zones.

Under rating threshold (show) 42060 Score =D I found the brute to be best to get early off, and get the samurai and brute 2 ranks in everything, then get the monk and focus everything into his dodge and at max rank hell dodge almost everything. Make sure you fight as many mooks as possible, but still try to have 4-6 remaining clicks left for the bonus experience

Under rating threshold (show) 2nd time going through hardcore, here are tips: 1) ALWAYS upgrade your samurais/companion surviability (health/evasiveness/armor/etc) also the monk proved more useful than the brute 2)use the minimum amount of xp points. If you fail you can always re adjust when starting over, but once you beat an area you can get that xp back. This prevents having lots of unusable xp left over. 3) regen, farmer, clone focus, multistrike, merc armor, expert tracker are definitively worth investing in

Under rating threshold (show) A pleasant little game. The start can be frustrating. Get allies ASAP. Get permanent upgrades. Fighting daimyos early means lots of XP. Every turn you can click anywhere on the maps (didn't realize this at first). I just wish there were a tad more interactivity during battles.

Under rating threshold (show) There's currently no way to clear the campaign if you lose on the first province. You will have that defeat on your record until you beat it, then are able to clear the campaign data.

Under rating threshold (show) At first I thought what the F***. The game didn't made no sense, but after I explored it more deeply and figured how to play it I just loved it. There is so much strategy involved in this game: which levels to beat first , what upgrades to buy, which tiles to cover and so on. At first even the normal difficulty was too hard to beat but when I learned that the key to success is to beat as much enemies as you can before getting to the last battle, because all the unbeaten enemies will be at the boss tile. So all in all a very great unique game :)

Under rating threshold (show) After clearing the games, i notice some stuff that might help people clear the game. 1) defeat the province that will give u mountains first 2) buy the upgrade that give 3 more sliver 3) the main purpose of each map is to get all the mountains and events, ignore health regeneration unless necessary, u wont need to save on clicks as u get exp by defeating the monsters on the map 4)get bow men the last and after u get the +75 health upgrade 5)upgrade your health with spare exp after getting 1-2 companion. 6)the only skill i use was shadow clone so get its upgrade +200 hp. Hope that this helps. Based on this, i got about 2/3 of the upgrades.

Under rating threshold (show) I chose a province, clicked "hunt the daimyo!" and what I assume to be a battle screen came up. I can't click on anything except for the sound/quality toggles and Kong/FB link at the very top of the screen...I'm also PRETTY sure I shouldn't have 9999 silver and 9999 Exp, which is what it says below my 25 clicks remaining. Looks like a fun game, interesting concept with the levels getting harder the more you finish...sucks that I can't play it, though.

Under rating threshold (show) Woot! Max score is 439250. First playthrough unlocked nightmare difficulty. Second playthrough got that score. The key is fighting the daimyo as soon as you can kill him. I upgraded the samurai the most, and then the tank guy. Grabbed reduced sword damage, +damage to daimyos, regen on kill, attack multiple enemies, and 5% dodge as my permanent buffs. The first one ig rabbed was killing multiple enemies in one swing, that helps a ton. I only used energy to revive allies and throw daggers. Hope that helps other people.

Under rating threshold (show) 378000, how's that for score? Average or? I used samurai and the brute, focusing on building samurai up, then brute a bit, but I bought the 2 other guys for the score star. Skills - tracking, slash (strike bunched up enemies), miner, chakra focus, shadow clone focus, bamboo armor, elite killer, att speed.

Under rating threshold (show) Managed to beat the game with an A ranking on the first try on normal... 3 defeats. It's not that hard once you get the hang of the mechanics since it's simple. Get as much XP at the beginning so you can unlock your troops and keep them around long enough. Get permanent upgrades that help you stay in it longer - health regeneration, chakra regen, multi strike, slayers, etc. Then it just becomes about luck - kill as many Mooks as you can and save as many rice fields as you can. Don't waste too many clicks farming silver and visiting monasteries like I did. If you're lucky you won't run into every booby trap and you'll be able to catch the daimyo alone.

Under rating threshold (show) I just beat the game with a high score of 67400 and an A+ rating. No it wasn't my first play through. My first time through was absolutely terrible! I only state this to show that it is more than possible to be successful in this game! I know it's challenging, I know it's difficult, but come on people! How often do you encounter a game that REALLY puts your skills to the test? Just try to beat the EARLY provinces with as many clicks left as possible and you'll get a TON of XP so that you can develop your team more fully.

Under rating threshold (show) I don't normally comment on games, but this time I just felt the need to. This game has potential, in some ways, but it's bogged down by a couple of problems. For one thing, making a game challenging and making a game painful are two very different things, and I think that the enemies growing in number as well as getting buffs is a bit off putting. It feels like you're being punished for beating a province. It isn't so much a tactical game play mechanic as it is deciding which way you want to lose. And at least scale the silver reward somewhat better for higher difficulty enemies. Beating a stack of 18 enemies who cost me about a fifth of my health shouldn't only four experience and two silver. It just makes it harder to level up and actually survive. Like I said, the game has potential, but I just think it could be a bit less merciless in some ways.
