I think Shadow Clones is perfect, but flying daggers needs to hit the entire screen, do more damage, or aim at enemies, and super slash is nothing compared to Shadow Clones.

It's a bit annoying that the Samurai doesn't have an escape plan. Three shadows and a monk at full health, but losing because the Samurai has only 50hp left is pretty sad.

Maybe keeping your money after getting defeated would help beating the last enemy.
Even if you only keep half the money you gained during battle.

10 leftover clicks: 30xp
16 leftover clicks: 40xp
The first 10 clicks gave me 3xp each. The last 6 gave me just 1.66 each? NOT FAIR!

Aside from the Archer companion being utterly useless, very well done. I'd like to see an upgrade for being able to see in adjacent panels from Forests, though.

Nightmare: 385750 --> 482,750 A+
Trick - Pick the land that adds more mooks 1st round for more kills.
Trick2 - Have a kick-ass first round that allows you to hire (Monk / Warrior). That will allow you to beat the second round with 10+ clicks.
Still trying to figure out how to get A++ on Nightmare.

The game is fun but is basically impossible to win 90% of the time since the Daimyo doesn't show up for me. I uncover every square and reveal every enemy unit and he just isn't there.

Needs a way to replay certain parts, to gain more xp or whatever. I can't stress how difficult the second level of difficulty was. And i was planning my clicks and everything, it's just nothing worked out for me !

Nice game, i love it's simplicity and hardness - graphics are very chic too... have to admire the despairing and revengeful look of super samurai :) 5 stars for idea, looks and execution..

I have a glitch where some of the upgrades I buy keep reseting, the expert tracker and focus chakra ones have reset on me after one territory, if this is intentional it should tell you they aren't permanent.

You lose a level, you lose XP? That's not cool. Not really very helpful. Puts you in a worse situation than you were in the first place .... when you lost.

Tips
A. Early on in the game, select providences that upgrade the elites, ninjas, ect.. or simply, stuff you won't have to face early on.
B. Don't worry about money, and focus on getting as much XP as possible.
C. Get Warrior and Monk first with XP, then upgrade yourself.
D. Spend cash on permanent upgrades.
(I prefer the Heal Teammates 50 each click and Zen.)
I beat hardcore with A+. Still figuring out how to get the A++.

I died 0 times and completed the game. What hard do u see in it? First attack eastern provinces, then western. Buy brute and maybe monk but uprage ur samurai first. Buy combat upgrades (attack speed, movement speed, armor etc) for silver. On the map first find the big guy, then epxlore killing minions as much as possible healing when needed. Save points for final battle.

There is no real scaling on your abilities. The computer gets much harder and you don't really improve much. You also don't earn NEARLY enough exp.

ha that time as soon as the daimyo appeared, my HP went from about 180 to 0 in less than a second. Not sure if this game is possible without just the right upgrades or lots of luck..

Theres a difference between stepping on a tile and next to a tile, stepping next to a tile with footsteps or the diamyo does NOT reveal them (unless you have that upgrade)
