Hmmm... The Elite Slayer is supposed to be a permanent upgrade but after I bought it twice, it still shows up as being available to purchase. That's possibly 200 silver gone up in smoke. No way of knowing whether I actually have it or not.

The "medium" badge is more like a hard badge. I hate games that leave 0% margin for error =_=
frustrating.... especially when you get punished each time you fail (-5% score) 2/5

if running low on health make sure you have one click left and atleast 10 silver. if you buy a health refill then click a covered ricefeild square your health will return to your max health.

@Uber_Penguin.. you shouldnt be looking for the Mooks at times.. but if you see them you should fight them since it will give you money and you get your kill bar up...

"booby traps unlocked"- oh i hope they show up so i can avoid them... hey look a new tile, a skull *click*...... *facepalm*

why should the game be over when your samurai dies? wouldn't it make more sense if the game was to be over if everyone died?

OK, I've scored 450,000 on Nightmare. Tips:
1. Hit the Daimyo as early as you can afford to. But you may need to build up your kill meter or find health spots before hitting him.
2. The upgrades I like best are multi-hit samurai, healing helpers, improved kill rate, and improved clones.
3. Go to the territories that upgrade ninjas and elites first; you won't see them until later in the game. Good luck to all!

I found that Fighting the Mooks was pointless... If you run around and find them all before the Daimyo, you waste all of your clicks, but if you just go to the Daimyo, you fight the same amount of Mooks and get bonuses to boot!

This is a very good game. However, there are some weak points in it. You are unable to grind, and your monk dies every 3 seconds. Please insert a way to make the player able to get lots of items and experience, even if they've already beaten that zone. Either that, or you can add more zones.

Can you please require a confirmation on the "Quit" button? I keep accidentally clicking it when I'm trying to exit the store and it's frustrating to lose all the progress I made.

42060 Score =D I found the brute to be best to get early off, and get the samurai and brute 2 ranks in everything, then get the monk and focus everything into his dodge and at max rank hell dodge almost everything. Make sure you fight as many mooks as possible, but still try to have 4-6 remaining clicks left for the bonus experience

2nd time going through hardcore, here are tips: 1) ALWAYS upgrade your samurais/companion surviability (health/evasiveness/armor/etc) also the monk proved more useful than the brute 2)use the minimum amount of xp points. If you fail you can always re adjust when starting over, but once you beat an area you can get that xp back. This prevents having lots of unusable xp left over. 3) regen, farmer, clone focus, multistrike, merc armor, expert tracker are definitively worth investing in

A pleasant little game. The start can be frustrating. Get allies ASAP. Get permanent upgrades. Fighting daimyos early means lots of XP. Every turn you can click anywhere on the maps (didn't realize this at first). I just wish there were a tad more interactivity during battles.

Some tips: 1) Don't buy any non-permanent items if you can help it. 2) Get the allies as soon as you can and upgrade their survivability. 3) Focus on finding the daimyo asap. 4) after finding the daimyo, kill any mooks you find

I always like your games but.. this one.. is kind of good, it would be better if you could train some more.. cause sometimes its just too hard even in normal mode..

There's currently no way to clear the campaign if you lose on the first province. You will have that defeat on your record until you beat it, then are able to clear the campaign data.

Lone survivor should be named Ronin (warrior without a master), not Samurai (servant).

At first I thought what the F***. The game didn't made no sense, but after I explored it more deeply and figured how to play it I just loved it. There is so much strategy involved in this game: which levels to beat first , what upgrades to buy, which tiles to cover and so on. At first even the normal difficulty was too hard to beat but when I learned that the key to success is to beat as much enemies as you can before getting to the last battle, because all the unbeaten enemies will be at the boss tile. So all in all a very great unique game :)

After clearing the games, i notice some stuff that might help people clear the game. 1) defeat the province that will give u mountains first 2) buy the upgrade that give 3 more sliver 3) the main purpose of each map is to get all the mountains and events, ignore health regeneration unless necessary, u wont need to save on clicks as u get exp by defeating the monsters on the map 4)get bow men the last and after u get the +75 health upgrade 5)upgrade your health with spare exp after getting 1-2 companion. 6)the only skill i use was shadow clone so get its upgrade +200 hp. Hope that this helps. Based on this, i got about 2/3 of the upgrades.

I chose a province, clicked "hunt the daimyo!" and what I assume to be a battle screen came up. I can't click on anything except for the sound/quality toggles and Kong/FB link at the very top of the screen...I'm also PRETTY sure I shouldn't have 9999 silver and 9999 Exp, which is what it says below my 25 clicks remaining. Looks like a fun game, interesting concept with the levels getting harder the more you finish...sucks that I can't play it, though.

I'm sorry but the fact that every other level is a walk in the park, and then the shogun becomes impossible is just retarded.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
"since we cannot train on past provinces the game over shouldn't delete upgrades bought on the province were we died" I second that, it's a HUGE flaw, I never would expect something like this on a nerdook game
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
im sorry nerdook, but this is your worst game till now :( in my opionion, the stats are HORRIBLE, its inpossible to figure out a good strategy becuse you dont even know the dmg of your units
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I can't beat the Shogun level... It's impossible for me with my momentary upgrades. I think only Choice to beat the Level is to play the whole Game all over again... -.-
The easy-difficult should be easyer :D
