The idea of the game is good, but it is near impossible if you take but a couple wrong moves, or do not spend your gold/exp correctly. Definitely has potential, but needs a lot of work on balance.

new update: boosted monk's HP, boosted archer attack speed, only samurai kills will count towards chakra refills (to nerf shadow clone spamming!)

Krazy's Guide: This is just the method I used; I died my first two runs of the final level but when I did finally beat it, score of 100,000+ for an A+ rating easily breaking the 50,000 requirement.
-This build focuses on the 50 mana spell Shadow Clone and the use of one companion, your Brute. The only purpose of the brute is to absorb some damage with armor and health, pretty much all the damage comes from you.
-Buy: Focus: Chakra (to keep launching shadow clone during Daimyo fights), Focus Clones (to make them more useful), SoulDrinker, and Multistrike. On the last level, you might need "Elite Slayer" if you start having trouble.
-For each Daimyo, go into the fight with 50+ energy ready. Launch Shadow Clones immediately and keep launching until victory.
No idea if this works well on the hardest mode, but at least it will get you there with some amount of consistency! Good luck, have fun, + if you found this useful :)

it said click anywhere to play. I clicked anywhere. any apparently i have to click "anywhere" to play. at least for me :L 4/5 for misleading guidance. aw jk jk. but seriously about the anywhere >.> took me 5 minutes to get past that thing >.<

i wanted to give nerdook 5/5 as usual but
this message did the trick to explain
tips for winning final battle easily : you only need these two main skills : shadow clone upgrade and the one that increase skill bar faster... keep spamming shadow clone. I also found out that it is best to invest only in the samurai alone, making the shadow clone even powerful.. (get perk such as armor, faster speed and etc after those two main skill)

Sure would be nice to be able to upgrade the health of your companions. They keep dying and I have to waste valuable points to revive them.

I like the game and usually give nerdook games 5/5 but this one didn't have the same level of depth and interest to me, still it's very good 4/5.

There is a glitch Mr.NERDOOK. Once you hit 0 on the click counter, then buy more "time" from the market it still says that you have no "time" left and I basicly wasted my silver. Please fix, LIKE SO NERDOOK WILL SEE.

this game is poorly made i wish i could controle the smaurai im supost to be instead of watching him fight and lose no skill involved since im not playing the charactor 0/5

No grinding, so pretty much im stuck because i apparently didnt buy the right upgrades, now the shogun destroys me everytime and the elite mooks just piledrive me even with the damage upgrade to elites. Also need the chackra bar think to not be capped out, because i save my energy for hard parts, but i keep saving it and end up wasting so much half the time.

Really? I can't go back and replay levels for exp? So since my strategy worked until the last level I am now supposed to replay the whole game? No thanks

Glitch: If you run out of clicks and decide to buy more clicks, it won't let you use those clicks since it still says you're out of moves. Also, the heal 30s heal for 50s.

hey, nerdook, big fan of your games. i found a bug (well, i think it's a bug) tht mooks will spawn ON the booby traps, killing you sometimes. And for perfectionists like me, its a BIG problem/obstacle.

Excellent game, as usual from Nerdook. Also, as usual, it takes some getting used to. But once you do, you're hooked. Like many people here I had trouble with the ' minesweeper element'. It took me a few tries to figure out that exploring a square reveals the terrain on the next few tiles but not the footsteps. So it took me some time to figure out how to get to the Daimyo.
5/5 despite that, keep it up Nerdook! Oh and congrats on the wedding ;-)
