I don't like needing to start a game over just because I made a few mistakes early on. I also don't like skill required in a game that is almost completely luck-based. Once the booby traps start appearing... Meh. Can't call it a bad game, but I don't like it much.

game is not as hard as it seems (: although I wished it lasted longer so I could obtain more upgrades ", obvious tips that help: the more mooks you kill, the less you have to fight in the dynamo battle, also once you find the dynamo battle make sure your at 0 clicks before joining

Yet another great game from nerdork! I can't believe that people complain about the difficulty... I got an A+ rating on my first 15 minute play. XD

High score - 326500, first time on impossible. This game is not that difficult, folks. If you are stuck on the Shogun, start over, you did it wrong. If you use your silver and experience properly, you should not have any problems.

When you buy the extra click after you've run out of your initial ones, you won't be able to use them as Darkunov says. BUT they still apply as unused clicks and you get the experience from them. So, for $15, you get an extra 15 experience I think. Even if those numbers are a little off, it's still a great deal for extra XP at the end.

I like it, except for the fact that you can't decide to grind earlier if you're stuck in one. Right now, I only have one area to do before the Shogun and can't seem to beat it after a couple of tries, maybe because I didn't buy the right upgrades. Not being able to grind makes me literally stuck there.

i think you complaining guys got used to those nerdook games where it is impossible to lose so a bit challenging got you crying.
I beated the game almost as easy as all the other ones, failing just 2 times

Very badly made game overall.. I've killed all mooks and uncovered ALL tiles and it keeps saying i fail.. I've done this half a dozen times now even refreshed and reloaded everything and still doing it.

Not a bad game, but seriously, listen to your fans. Persistent upgrades or drop the "normal" mode difficulty drastically. For those who love an impossible game, great, give it to them in a "Nightmare" mode (aka "normal" in the present game). For those of us who just like to casually play and ENJOY a game for an hour or two, this ain't it. Totally random + no grinding = 1/5.

Like most other people said, one of the very few problems I can find with this game is the upgrade system, or lack thereof. You can upgrade, yes. How ever, the reset after you die makes this game nearly impossible unless you choose VERY carefully. Unfortunately, this is a major flaw. Other than that, excellent game. I'll be spending the next hour or two trying to figure out a build to eventually beat it...

so basically if you beat a provience then you can never go back to it again... cool got it.
if you purchase something in the provience right before your last fight you cant keep it.. uh..
if you use exp between proviences then you have to keep your decisions... kk its wutevz..
if you gain exp you cannont use it until youve WON the provience your in and loose it if you die.. wtc ok...
but if you use your money before you die you loose the money and go back to the amount of exp that you had before you entered the provience..
this game is designed to make you fail the first time you play it unless if your just lucky and pick the right charachters and upgrades from the start (NOT THE MUNK).. and they get more expensive the more you buy them.. did miss anything?

So we can't even restart our data? If there is that option, I would like it pointed out to me so that I can try spending my XP better, now that I know what I'm doing.. Otherwise, I won't be able to beat the game at all.. And I agree with many of the other players, this game is not that nice.

Really do love this game, but the lack of retaining XP and such does suck. I get you're going for something that takes forethought, but i think you could implement a more forgiving system that would still disallow grinding.

i'm sorry nerdook but you do this in every game. why cant we keep the exp points even if we lose? almost every game you make is mostly luck if you win the level. i'm not trying to negative but, i would really would appreciate keeping exp in future games. + this so it gets too the top every one

TIPS: Get Miner early to build up silver. Regeneration helps, and Multi Strike reduces battle time. But here's the big one: Focus Chakra, Focus Slash and Daimyo Hunter is pretty much an instant Daimyo kill. Focus Chakra also lets you revive your companions faster. Get Mercenary armor if you like playing with companions, otherwise don't bother. I only use archer. After getting the above, get Souldrinker to keep Samurai alive. NEVER pay for consumables. Just a waste of silver.

I just seriously hate how if you do poorly on the first few levels because you're still learning how to play, it screws you over for the rest of the entire game.

Ah, and what the mooks say has three parts: the first, such as 'How dare you',the second part such as 'point your blade at us!' and the third, such as 'long live the daimyo!'

Bug: If you purchase healing and have lost less then 30 hp, the extra healing will be added to your health, puting your hp above your maximum.

I completed game on normal difficulty and happy of badges turned browser off. Now I came back to try on harder levels, but it says I haven't em unlocked :(. Please fix it.

I realize now that this game is far more complicated than I first thought.
There's a reason you can't grind. This is the type of game that REALLY matters how you play, the whole time. If you make a stupid choice, it affects you throughout the game. The harder difficulties really do test your ability to plan ahead.

annoying first second of the battle, if u stand near a melee enemy they will cut you tu dead even the battle havent start yet but also work with you.

I was really enjoying this game! I saved silver, didn't click on mountains, bought the "permanent" mining upgrade, clicked all the mountains, got all the moneys, killed all the mooks... then had one unsearched square left and one click! So i clicked it...
...and they told me I had to try again because i'd run out of clicks without finding the Daimyo. Hmm. Where was he? Oh well, I decided I'd just keep playing.
...then noticed my silver and my Mining upgrade were gone.
It isn't just about grinding - it's about keeping what I've earned.
I'll go find another game to spend my time on, thanks. 2/5

Yet another Nerdook game, with it's lackluster graphical quality and generic gameplay. Oh, and did I mention that Greg loved it so much that he not only badged it, but will be spawning a child to play it when he dies. Disappointing, no?

I love it. 5/5
Instead of doing a grinding game, there is actually strategy behind the tiles to uncover, the experience points to spend, the upgrades to buy and the items. One complaint is that some permanent upgrades seem awful for the price.

dont worry about left click count. kill many mooks before u start final fight. this helps u fight with less opponent and getting less damage. use ur clicks as plus symbol so gets u max seen blocks. buy attacking 100 silver expence upgrades first. max damage and speed and never get companions.
