I had a bug where the foot-prints lead off the map, and no footprints were around it. With the clicks left I couldn't find him anywhere. Interesting game though, I like the difficulty. 4/5

Another nerdook game, another game that's a competitor for game of the week/month. I wouldn't have expected anything less from my favorite flash developer.

Not great, not bad. Gameplay is OK, in normal mode last levels are a breeze. I don't think anyone could be interested in playing the whole game 3 times, so you should probably unlock all 3 modes from the start. 4/5

This game is interestingly different from other games on here and especially other Nerdook games...There's much more strategy in this than your other games. I really like the fact that there is no grinding or repeats, especially on nightmare mode where it is a dilemma of whether to take on the Diamyo early and get massive bonuses but risk dying.....
One thing that is massively imbalanced about this game is how important shadow clones are. I don't think its possible to get nearly as a good a score without using shadow clones to their full extent.

Why do the clues disagree with each other? The bad guy was higher than one clue, but lower than the clue under it. Not much minesweeper as just randomly guessing at that point. I was seriously disappointed by that. So I just liked the game (or rather the idea of it) but didn't care to keep playing it.

You see the thumbnail of a featured game, and you know, it is a nerdook game. an indeed, it so typical nerdook, with all it good and bad sides: unique style in GFX and design, quick and dirty gameplay, nice upgrades and achievements, overall easy to finish, not to much tactical depth and gives not much reason for longer playing or even replaying it more than twice. still i like your games, but i said i before, why don't you make something bigger. we all wait for an grand RPG from you, that keep us playing it for days, not only minutes. 3/5

very easy game, shadow clones need to be nerfed since you can summon about 10 of them on the final boss (8 in the battle and around 2 from killing mooks around the map) and i easily stormed through the final battle with 100+ mooks to kill. respawning allies is very cheap and can easily be abused, the archer attacks from a range where he cant hit the enemies and click system is flawed since i can solo a diamo with all mooks present on the map. gg tho, i recommend you allow people to grind areas over and over again instead of just once and make the final boss around 5 times harder, seriously, he died in about 10 sec

option to replay completed provinces? and how about the permanent upgrades are permanent from when you buy them not from when you complete the area

I see the game on the frontpage, then the art-style and i was like "Hmm...that could be a new game from nerdook!" and i was right, your art-style is rly unique :3

I won nightmare without using shadow clones and by delaying every map until i ran out of clicks. Get brute first (hes fodder!) then get samurai atk spd and dmg, then get the other 2 mercs. Just save your chakra for the daimyo, the super slash will bring it to near death.

nice game. for all complaining, its not that hard. did it the 2nd try with a+ ranking. concentrate upgrades on the samurai, buy the killmeter increase and spam shadow clones...

2 hours, never be able to take down the samurai... how can i improve mah dude... its terribly unbalanced if i compare the first lands to the final land. Sorry but i've played quite a bit of these and its not polished well enough (yet!). I hope you'll have a really good look at it for the future. Stuff like half the upgrades are lost, nor can I make an uber team as they would have no upgrades then :(

super addicting game, wow. I just completed nightmare. I'd say the trick is to be sleuthy in the early levels and don't use as many clicks as you have to. the exp you get will compound itself through the game with this tactic til the very end when you and your army shall be an unstoppable sumurai sweeper..thing lol. hope this helps.

Once I got the hang of it I really liked this game. Its hard to say how it could be better but at the same time, once I did complete it (B) I didnt really feel like playing again. Therefore I'd give it a 3.5/5. Lots of promise for a sequel I feel.

Difficult? When exp can only be spent at the end screen (unless I'm wrong) and silver drops about 3 at a time until some random upgrade, and 50 hp restorers when you lose about 200 in a battle and have hp around 900? Oh, and a click limit? That's more than difficult, that's just mean.

Interesting game, although it lacks of depth/complexity to make it "great." Still, fun to mess around with for a little while.

nvm. i just realised these footprints are a direct trail that loops around the daimyo rather than just pointing in his direction >_<
