Awesome game. Love the randomly generated levels and the gear. One quick note: in Survival mode, players can use 'Q' to quit and it just restarts them at the level with all the gold they earned, doesn't end survival. found that out while trying to end survival.

What the..! I was on a Temple Level and I got to the required gold level, So then there was a boss battle, And the princesess was there. But then, since all the non-Boss related sqaures explode, The princess was obliterated. I then fought Putrid Pig, and when that was done, All the gold Special sqaures starting dissapearing, and I jumped through, and fell to my death. Any explanation?

I've died way too many times by things I can't control, like taking a long drop and landing on spikes, or the poison cloud randomly coming down on me when I jump, or the platforms blocking my progress and no hero handy to break them, or no platforms to get over to the boss to kill him. Randomized levels = poor design, always. 2 stars

great game really awesome, but i was playing and after like 10 minutes i got 4 achievements and there was no next world...hope you make a second game like this, listen to the people and hope that one will get bigger than this (way bigger please :D)

@yxz9899100: you know, bosses are actually sort of challenging if you try to kill them with the paladin, since he can almost never reach up to them (because of his short jump height). Or you could just try to finish them off with your default hero... the one with no powers. Now that is actually annoying.

Truly a great game with a lot of replay value.
That said I did encounter a strange scenario where one of the castles was on a separate path on the overworld that didn't connect to the main path. I've played through a few times and only seen that happen once though.

Here is a mindless way to complete the whole game... yes it is rather mindless to do it this way.
First, you can try to repeat 1st jungle level, until you've got the 6th skill for every hero except mage, and mage got the necromancer robe. Select all those skills, and go into a level (if it is not boss level, use the invunerable armor the get to the bottom directly without even thinking).
Pick a BOSS level and see if there is mage at the begining, if there is not, just quit. If you get a mage, go down directly (try to avoid missile) and kill things in the trip using skill.
When you get to the bottom, press the skill 4 times and the boss is killed =)
If you have came to the boss and died after, just blame your luck=)

Fun game, lots of potential, but doesn't last long.
The biggest flaw of this game is that you don't feel like you have to make crucial decisions. You just take the ranger with Raven Wings and play on automatic mode. Add Rune of Energy on top of that and only bad luck can kill you.
In this game, movement means everything and Paladin and Barbarian are useless.
Small bug : when 2 enemies are close to each other and my ranger jump on the head of one, he takes damage.
To sum up, you need to change the game so that the player has to make important choices not only during equipement selection but also while playing. 3/5 for now.

Great game. I have a few suggestions though. The shadow boss that spawns those mini-shadow swordsman should be fixed as I feel that having them respawn right on top of you and killing you relies too much on luck and chance. Also, I don't know what about everyone else experience but can you make the ability of the classes be easier to find instead of giving a tooltip only once after taking on the class. Maybe make a seperate window for those who either didn't notice or can't read fast enough to realize what the classes abilities are. Anyways, great game. Cheers.

Hey , I really enjoyed this game and was really fun and easy to play , the controls were easy and the game waas pretty straight forward. One thing i would like to see nerdook is that maybe to start with a champion of your choice and then you slowly have to upgrade and collect armour and all that kind of stuff. The concept on the blocks and how to have to fell is great i love games like this , not too difficult but fun and gives a challenge , and also everyone likes to get achievements that arent to hard to get.. 5/5 =D ........ GeNeRaL5 OuT ................

I've beat the game. I've unlocked all the bonuses and masks...and I can't stop playing!! This has never happened before with any game I've ever played. This game is just superbly designed! Plus, it's so much fun jumping around as the thief....

at first i was skeptical of the game when i read about the random maps and saw what the appearance of the level looked like (i came in expecting a horizontal platformer). but only now have i been able to take time to comment, as ive been completely distracted by the game and already played through it a few times. very fun, 5/5.

This has all the beginnings of a brilliant concept. The randomness, the various heros, the scoring, and the interaction of all the customizations -- all great ideas. That's why it's so disappointing that the fundamentals are so flawed. Bad hit-box detection, sticky movement keys, and a huge gulf in the usefulness of customizations (from meh straight to "game-breaking"). But if there's a sequel that takes the good parts of the concept and expands -- this could be an unbelievably addictive franchise.

Overall, very fun. However, I was disappointed by the uselessness of the less mobile characters. Clearly the best Hero is Default Dude because nerd glasses. Second place goes to Thief because he has wtfmobility. Next is the Berserker because he can kill pretty much anything and has double jump. Fourth, Ranger. i think rangers a pretty cool guy, eh makes the enemies into potions and double jumps and doesn't afraid of anything. Then there's Mage who's useless until you get your hands on Necromancer's Robes. Most useless is the Paladin. Sure, he can resist anything if he's positioned right, but he can get almost no treasure because his mobility is in the pits. In a game like this, mobility is WAY more important than being able to stand there and tank. And then there's when you get to the bottom of the level and can't finish it/save the princess because you can't jump over two blocks. I found only one use for Paladin: his Rune, which turned out to be the most useful ability. XD

How does the rune of endurance work? I tried to beat the game by using only rune, but when i was about to die, it didn't save me. ???

Came across an almost complete horizontal line of blocks, luckily I had paladin at the time which was the only way through

I got into a boss fight while the princess was there and she went up in a puff of smoke like the rest of the blocks....oops!

its a really well done game, but some of the levels are generated in a way so you get trapped and r forced to die or restart the program
