The game is great but the only way I died was getting stuck with an invincible paladin at the last floor with a boss i couldn't get to or a princess I couldn't save :/ I would suggest adding a back to normal button and or not place any blocks on the last floor

i was doing die 3 times in a row on a level.. then when i got the achievement it said .. game over.. ran out of lives.. wtf? 0/5

I find this game a really fun play, but there are a couple of things that just totally bug the hell out of me. First, I find the bosses very frustrating. most of the time I fall right in front of a boss, lose whatever class I have, and then I cannot jump high enough to jump on the boss without taking damage. I cannot even jump to the little blocks in the upper center area of the boss "room." Second, though I find the fact that the levels change each time they are played excellent in terms of replay value, I have lost 3 of my 5 lives restarting because I either cannot jump to an area where I can drop down, or the way down is blocked altogether. I honestly really enjoy the game play. I frickin' love it.

If you are planning to make a sequel *hint hint* it would be nice to have a use for the gold you collect. Maybe to buy masks, or special runes.

My platemail paladin landed beside the princess, Thus making the level unwinnable. The ability to discard costumes would be nice.

Really nice rpg platformer, like the 2 player option, was hoping that equiping the different runes would also change the characters of other classes :( anyways great game 5/5 favd

Only thing that bugged me is the mages rune does not work in multi-player. I set my mages rune in single player and then i have 30 mana rather than 15. I set it like that in multi-player even going so far as to make that the only skill on my bar at all and nothing no effect. Other than that though absolutely loved all parts of the game even getting stuck, adds a challenge to it (play as the ninja never get stuck)

My only major compliant is when either fighting a boss or dropping to the bottom level and not being able to jump high enough to continue on *both with the regular pallie and pallie with armor* Otherwise, totally engrossing and great replay!

i would love to play this but for somereason any keyboard i use works fine with everything..cept flash games it seems like the keys go unresponsive at times and my char contiunes to move and ignores my other commands such as when i press down to become a hero it pushes down but i dont break the cage...help?

So glad to see this come to Kongregate after playing through 100% completion on Ninja Kiwi. I really hope this game gets some badges, because I'm looking for an excuse to play it again from scratch :)

One time the screen zoomed down to center on a boss and the purple cloud insta-killed me, pretty unfair. But besides that it's a great game. Stone-breaker arrows are too good, they'd be awesome even without the bonus gold.

Amazing game, the map reminds me of Super Mario World 3 and the gameplay seems brand new. The amount of things to unlock kept me playing the game over and over until it was all mine. Unfortunately the characters don't seem balanced. The only good Mage item I used was the Sanctuary staff, just because it healed me, the only ranger item I used was the wings and the Barbarian was just sitting there with his rune most of the game. I ended up giving the Paladin and the Mage a rune, the Barbarian Omnislash, the Ranger the wings and the Thief the wrist blade. The thief was easily the best character. Since the start I used him and found him to get better and better constantly, while the others got better once and just stayed pointless the rest of the game. Just my opinion. Loved the game. 5/5

Great game, but like marcus9872 pointed out, the ability to either swap out or forsake the current hero would be good, as that would definitely have saved me a couple of wasted lives. Also, the Thief's Shuriken help is bugged (shows Amulet instead of Shuriken).
Other than that, great replayability, great depth, great game. 5/5

I like this game! At first I thought it was like a fantasy rpg game, but it's more like Super mario and Falldown combined. I love the character design and the plot is very humorous. I'm putting this game into my favs.

Ranger is by far the best class IMO. Can't decide between the "break blocks for a gold piece", or "get tons of gold for breaking cages". Cages one is probably better. When you run through a level with double jump, a good, very cheap projectile, and the ability to break cages, its amazing. Breaking the cages for 3 G plus whatever random treasure might be in it, its like never missing them at all, all while getting a huge combo bonus for picking up each Ranger instead of breaking them. Wonderful game 5/5. Pick the Ranger, got #10 all time high score with him on my first complete playthrough.

certain classes are much better than others....the thief for instance is quite useless, by tactic alone one could avoid most enemies and if one was on an unavoidable collision course it is usually so quick that their reactions wouldn't be quick enough to use the skill. The ranger however is simply perfect. All one needs to do is unlock the ranger's wings and they can kill any enemy and get any chest with no problem at all....

This game would be really good if you didn't occasionally get stuck with no way out. That's a very serious error and breaks the game for me.

It has an obnoxious tendency to hand me in an unwinnable situation - both on the world map and the platformer. For instance, as I type I have landed on the wrong side of a tower of blocks that I cannot cross (currently a barbarian), with the princess on the other side. Also, on the world map, one of the temples is disconnected from the rest of the map, making it unreachable. That said, I enjoy this game, and this is a minor annoyance instead of a gamebreaking glitch. Fix this and I'd give a 5/5, for now I give a 4/5.

I like how you can go back and get more artifacts and hats after you go to the menu, it brings replay value and is perfectionist friendly.

Damm this game is brilliant! Love the idea of being able to hunt for special items to modify your heroes, it really gives lots of replay value!

After seeing the same 5 heroes pop up a hundred times throughout the same stage, I realized that rescuing them one by one wasn't actually my goal. :/
EXCELLENT game!! My favorite part, by far, was unlocking all of the different artifacts. Not so much to see what they did, but what adorable little sprite they came with! Great work!!!

Different masks for lots of achievements = awesome. Different looks for having different artifacts = awesome. Seeing your dead bodies piled up based on what you were wearing upon death = icing. You really outdid yourself this time.

Pretty good game, but there's a bit of a balance issue, if you ask me. (isn't there always, with games that have multiple characters?) Personally, I think anyone without a double jump is useless in accomplishing any task. Trying to survive? Trying to get gold? Trying to kill things? All much easier with a double jump. Even the Barbarian, who still can't jump worth crap, is made much more useful with a double jump. Maybe you should implement some kind of defense or something, pr better yet, just give everyone double jump so their differences stand out better.

btw sometime I'm stuck with boss,
with boss Putrid Pig, I use knight and can't die by boss attack,
but I also can't do double jump to reach and attack him, result is I'm stuck there and need to quit at the end.

theres a few masks that seem difficult to get, i finish them with the required parts but dont get the mask? needs more detail if theres more to the achivement
